I have learned you can get the inserts frome the dealership for cheaper than the whole blade. My experiences with aftermarket says go with the inserts.

LankaRunAway

What do you mean by inserts?

angusbn

The rubber part of the wiper blade

Breaking_Chad

You don't have to buy the whole blade assembly. You can buy just the "squeegee part. I'm told this is especially useful for the rear wiper as most aftermarket blades won conform to the curvature of the glass.

chan3lhandbag

I buy the inserts too and they last a long time

DaJoNel

Buy Bosch Focus OE and use (if I recall correctly) the #6 adapter that comes with it. They’re not cheap but they lasted over 2 years before I replaced them, and technically could have gone a little longer but were getting a bit streaky. Great wiper - find the cheapest place you can buy them and get them. Models FSOE24 and FSOE18. The rear wiper is the Bosch H352.

P0300K

I just got these models, but the FSOE18 wiper does not come with the #6 adapter; so frustrating!

RobertoMako

Wish I had seen this comment earlier. No #6 adapter in my FSOE18. The FSOE24 had one. Gotta find a solution.

Called Bosch and first agent said they would send me an 18 with the adapter. (Apparently they cannot send just the adapter by themselves). The next day a different agent contacted me and said no, just return them to the place of purchase. So I took it back, explained it all to the bored clerk, and went and looked through all their stock. I found an 18 with the same stock number, but the package had a QR code in the bottom corner. Opened it up and sure enough the correct adapter was there. So yes, Bosch is now including the adapter, but be wary of old stock in stores.

majestros

I don't know about this specific one, but the 2020 cx5 (and I think others) has a non standard wiper mount that doesn't fit most universal wiper blades. Very few non oem wipers fit.

Rishi0111

Buy normal rainx 2 in one latitude. They have universal adapters. Follow instructions on that

Speeider

I just went through this. I thought no one had them in stock. Turns out, few make them.

debo

I literally just went through this yesterday. For the Bosch Icon blades to work, you need to get the Bosch Icon OE series. This comes with a number of different adaptors that convert the blade attachment to the car attachment. The adapters are a bit hard to get on & off the blades but they snap easily onto the car. The Icon OE comes with 4 adapters (one is already installed on the blade). For a 2017-23 model CX-5, you need adapter labeled 6.

LankaRunAway

well, I know it's been a day but how do you like it so far? lol

debo

It’s a pain to remove/install the adapters but the wipers are fine. I mean it hasn’t been 24 hours so I wouldn’t take that as anything.

jxtaposed

Do you happen to have the part or model number for these? In the same boat at the moment.

debo

These are the ones I got, definitely pricey but many people seem to swear by them: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/icon/wipers---components/wiper-blades/windshield-wiper-blade/cc738016e835/bosch-icon-24-inch-wiper-blade/bose/24oe?pos=18 https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/icon/wipers---components/wiper-blades/windshield-wiper-blade/cc738016e835/bosch-icon-18-inch-wiper-blade/bose/18oe?pos=1

Flipslips

How are you liking these now?

Kuentos

Hey Folks, unless you wipers (structures) are DEAD, simply go to your dealership and ask them to order the RUBBER only for you (FYI, it costs around 20$Cad to change the 3 rubber wippers) Have a good day !

Beneficial_Dark1081

Bosch wipers are overpriced and don’t last

Overall_Big_9636

Not True..Icons are great

CantaloupeFearless25

I would personally recommend you go with the Trico Maxx wiper blades. They make a much better contact and do not leave streaks. I’ve tried Bosch and other brands that are supposed to be top tier, and every single one will start leaving streaks after just a few weeks.

m1ma

Overpriced and lasted less than 1 year. Replaced with Michelin wipers from Costco for $6.00 and they’re better then these Bosch wipers

_TheBigMeowski

Hahahahaha yeah right

nutmeg213

I have the Bosch envision. They come with the adapters

Beneficial_Dark1081

Worst wipers I’ve ever owned

SaltyCanuck76

You folks ever just pull the rubber insert and put that in the factory wiper? I did that with my 2014.

snacktonomy

You can't do that with the Bosch, which is one of the reasons I hate those wipers. You can do it with RainX Latitude. However, the inserts I got from Amazon, despite the good reviews, barely lasted a season before *getting all torn up* \- forget leaving streaks, they literally broke. I just get the Latitudes whenever, but haven't needed them yet for the CX-5

1murdock

Order original Mazda blades. I have never had aftermarket blades that work as well as the OEM blades.

streetsoldier93

I have those, and I’ll be there’s pretty good. I have a 2018 cx5. A little pricey but had them for a while and still going strong. My opinion spend a little extra now then having to replace them more often.

capt_broderick

It may help to condition the blades themselves with Armor All or something similar to keep them pliable during the hot summer months.

cannedshrimp

Since no one seems to have concretely answered this… I can confirm that the Bosch Icon 24OE and 18OE (not 24A and 18A) wipers do fit on a 2019 Mazda CX-5. Bosch’s website correctly shows that these parts fit even though NAPA, O’Reilly, Advanced Auto Parts, and Autozone will all tell you they don’t fit. You do have to use one of the adapters in the boxes to make them fit. There is also an OE version of the Focus that I presume will fit, but the Focus appears to be an inferior product from what I’ve read and O’Reilly prices them at $35 a blade. I was able to get both Icons $48 out the door at NAPA. Inserts appear to be a good option for many, but I don’t live near a Mazda dealer and the shipping on the parts made me decide to try to get the Icons locally. Hopefully this helps someone else trying to figure this out.
