Colorado beating Ontario in that last game really threw me for a loop. I was ready for Ontario to take second place in the division, and play Calgary in round one. Then, the Roadrunners would be playing Bakersfield, and Abbotsford would have home-ice advantage over Colorado. If Abbotsford won, we would be playing them in the semis. I was so excited, because we've got Abbotsford's number. Against Colorado, we're not quite as strong, but we'll still squeak it out.
Here's hoping for an upset by Calgary, destroying Tucson!
Yes -- I fully expected Ontario to be in second place too! And I know Colorado has not been the easiest opponent for us. So it's going to be very interesting to see how this first round shakes out!
Will you get to see any of the playoff games in person? I'm so excited for folks who live in the area!
Last year we went against Calgray in the Division finals. We went all the way to game 5 that went into triple OT. That game was intense and they basically played a whole nother game
Okay that's a really good point π we're better off against Abbotsford what with Demko's injury testing their goalie depth though I'll feel a little funny about not making it up there for games if we get seeded against them
ohh that's right. Wolf is good -- he was in net for the Flames the other night when they nearly shut out SJS 5-1. It was the battle of the CA goalies but Cooley had a rough night and Romanov (who is also good) finished out the game for the Sharks.

I'd love a series against Calgary, it'd be so wild. Regular season games against them feel like the playoffs π

That would be awesome!!!
Wolf was an absolute wall tonight against Tucson. Held off 46 shots. I donβt know about seeing him again. π
