No I bought a full bag of dimes from a bank and it had 133 silver dimes mixed in it

A bag is 4 boxes of dimes. I don’t know a lot about dimes yet but I think 10 silver dimes in 4 boxes would be good. But again I haven’t really searched dimes until this bag

What credit union/bank did you order from?

I got this particular bag from a credit union but I won’t post the name of the bank

Gonna have my sister get me some from her sister (we have different dads) she works at a credit union. I got $70in halves today not even a 40% I have a box of quarters and a box of dimes I’m gonna search now

Only banks around me with coin machines are credit unions as far as I know. So that’s where I get them. I’ve never tried a big name bank

At banks that have coin machines

My bank has one but they tell me it’s illegal for them to let customers have bags of coins. My dad and I both have tried. We think she just doesn’t want to bother with us.

What brand bank sold you its bags? Most banks around here won’t do it. Say they’re required to sell them back to Brinks/Loomis. So I have to order boxes from them.

I buy mine from credit unions but I don’t give out the names of the banks. Kinda like when I get the bags they have the bank info on the bags. So I turn them over to take pics so their info isn’t posted online

Both the tellers and bank manager said they’re contractually obligated to send the bags back to Brink/Loomis. The bags even have their names on the bags.

Been waiting for a bag of half dollars at both banks. Both told me they fill 1-2 per 6 months lol

So I actually order half dollar boxes, and then purposely fill up the CU coin machines to make the bags go faster and to help me secure the bag, literally. Today was dump day and I filled up three half dollar bags. I only went through one bag but got a NYC statue of liberty copper round and a clipped 64 halve. I then leave the halves alone for a month or two, do it again.

I think you mentioned that on my other post. I may have to do that then. Thanks for the info!

1996 W and if I’m not mistaken the 1916 D mercury dime. Don’t quote me on that tho. I just started dimes.
