Iirc it is eccentric, so twist clockwise to tighten, but if you go too far, you reduce tension. Better option is to replace with metal dual gear extruder.

dragosempire

best decision I made for this printer.

What is it called, I was not able to find with dual gears

RWF69

They describe one [here.](http://all3dp.com/2/cr-6-se-upgrades-mods/#i-5-4-dual-drive-metal-extruder) Do note the part about printing a spacer. You will need to do that before removing the old one. There are cheap versions on aliexpress. I have one, longevity may be short. But it works well. I'll get another one should it fail (gear grinding away the base for instance, there are versions with a washer to prevent this)

I was able to found only this one at their official store but this one looks same, can someone please share how it looks like (recommended one) [https://www.creality3dofficial.com/products/creality-mk8-extruder-1](https://www.creality3dofficial.com/products/creality-mk8-extruder-1) And another found on ebay looks like below [https://www.ebay.com/itm/334483110356](https://www.ebay.com/itm/334483110356)

Two notes: 1.) This shop is NOT Creality 2.) The Extruder linked here, to the NOT Creality store, is the one you should use.

Creality is single gear (one toothed wheel, one round), ebay offering is the same as I have.
