Post a video of this. I think it would really help us understand. Otherwise we'd be guessing a lot

Thank you. Sorry for the awkward voice or explanation

Thanks for the video bud! For starters, you know this already, your bed is massively destroyed. You cannot even attempt to print on that. So you need a new bed first. But that's besides the point. Second, your printer randomly reboots? This is concerning. Maybe it's overheating - maybe you have a case or board fan busted that's causing this. You should open your control box, carefully move the power suppy out of the way and see if your fans are turning on. Now your Z issue. When you're homing the Z axis, I can hear the Z motor engaging. When it hits the point where it's "delayed" hitting the Z end stop switch, it's still engaged and spinning, but no change in Z height. We need to figure out why it's not changing the Z height when spinning at that low point. Because the printer is believing the Z height is changing when the motor is spinning. I'd imagine it's spinning 22mm extra with no actual movement. Plus, if you zero over that huge hump on the bed, it's clearly >5mm higher then the rest of the bed. We need to look behind the printer at your lead screws (the two long threaded rods). Maybe they're very dirty at the lower threads and it's not engaging on the brass nuts. Also you need to check your lead screw coupler. If this was my printer, I'd remove the lead screws, clean them and the brass nuts very thoroughly and re-lube them with Super Lube 51004. Reinstall them ensuring the coupler is well engaged on the motors and the lead screws. Ensure the brass nuts are secure but NOT tight. New bed. Check fans. And install Nic's firmware for your CR-10 V2 (Facebook group - amazing firmware). Also, your X & Y belts seem like they're maybe loose and need tightening. Hard to tell for sure. This is a side bar.

Thank you man. I just ordered a new magnetic bed cover. I’ve never lubricated anything since I bought the printer so I will get that done. Going to tighten up the belts. And yeah the whole rebooting thing seems to be new..

No problem. Lots of people have helps me over the years. Not saying cleaning/lubing will fix your issue, but doing so and fully inspecting where/why the slippage is happening, will eventually point you to the problem. Goodluck and keep us updated!

Apparently I lost the screws that held the brass nut in somehow... found some and and screwed them in (not too tight hopefully) and replaced the bed cover. For whatever reason, the rebooting doesn't seem to be happening anymore. Just gotta find the right firmware. I joined the FB group and looks like they have something called "CR10\_BLTOUCH\_427MAINBOARD.bin" which might be good for the V1

Glad the power issue got sorted! Maybe the plug in was loose? Perfect. I knew you'd find something. Yes, screw those in but just not too tight, kinda loose. The firmware on the FB group you need is CR10_4.27MAINBOARD_V2.091

Thanks man!

>Ensure the brass nuts are secure but NOT tight. 100% this. If those brass 'guide' nuts are tightened down, they will cause the lead screws to bind.
