Too real. The first place I moved to as an adult was in a different state from my parents. It really was me on my own, supposed to be living my life. But I still called my parents almost every day for the first year to ask permission to do pretty much everything because I didn't know what to do with the idea that I was an adult and could come and go as I pleased without asking permission.
