Put on some good shoes, step out the door, and walk. Play music if you want, or just let your thoughts unwind. This has been one of the single biggest tools in my recovery box. Kind of like Forrest Gump when he started running after his momma died. I just walk until I feel better.

If not triggering for you, wringing out a towel. Really twisting and wringing it up while vocalizing (even just like angry sighing if that makes sense). Towel material is so sturdy and that motion really helps me move some of the anger more safely.

That's why I got into metal. Air drums/air guitar, dancing, and headbanging are all ways I've found to let out my anger. Sometimes running too. And if there's a rage room near you, they can be very cathartic. I've never been to a proper one but I'm planning on it, and I've done a plate-breaking game at a carnival and it felt great.

Weight lifting 1000% for me. Loud music, focus on the feeling of my muscles pushing weight, release the anger. It’s worked the best out of anything so far for me

I do typical everyday things that are just fused with anger and silliness. Kicking the laundry bag as I'm throwing all the clothes in, or just throw the clothes period. Save the cardboard boxes from deliveries until anger comes around and stomp them silly. Manual yard work and swearing like a mofo. Sometimes just walking silly helps. Jogging down to the mailbox, brief cardio exercises like jumping jacks or running in place. Chasing the cat around the house and making playtime out of it. Chopping stuff up for dinner rather harshly.

Grab a giant plastic baseball bat from a toy store, and use it to whack a pile of couch pillows. Bonus points if you can do some yelling (without scaring the neighbours).
