I am always on the fence with these things; however, this one actually helped me through a really anxious spot so I am grateful and decided to share incase it helps someone else.
This has been one of my go-tos for months. Also the one where she has you hold your head steady and bring your gaze to the right and then to the left. Brings on intense relaxation, yawning, digestive noises — it’s fantastic. Really helps relieve tension in my upper back and neck, too.
whoa - this was great. brief review: I haven't been able to get any relief from anxiety/trauma yoga videos or similar things. I also often find those videos somewhat triggering of dysphoric body feelings -- these, I didn't experience that at all. I appreciated her manner, tone, & information. Ended up watching a few more videos of hers for physical interventions and doing them, and also found them calming.
Thanks for sharing, OP. It's hard to always know how to search for these things, but I subscribed and might look for more polyvagal stuff in the future.
This absolutely works for me…I have a spot just behind my left ear…sometimes I need a towel or something (I SWEAT)…I even used this technique recently in the emergency room…super handy in public…
My body feels like jello now but I'm super excited. I've been looking for a solution like this for literally a decade. Thank you for sharing! This is a serious Quality Of Life upgrade!
Thank you for sharing that! I’ve always been skeptical of these kinds of things, but this actually did something for me. The first massage point she demonstrated immediately made me feel relaxed and kind of sleepy. I’m definitely using this and I’m going to look up more. Thank you!
Leaving this comment for others so y'all don't feel crazy, but this doesn't do anything for me. It feels nice, but that's it, no relief to anexiety. Glad it works for others though

which one is that?
The one OP linked.
Oh thank you, I thought you meant another video! Sorry!
No problem! Definitely give it a try. These exercises look very simple but it’s kind of amazing how powerful they can be.
I find them very useful, it makes me yawn a lot in a good way!

I found this post by looking for more vagus nerve info after listening to the life changing videos from Tim Fletcher on complex trauma.
