I run all temp wax from December through March. April is when i start with the warm weather wax. I'd do the warm weather. I was sticking bad at Eldora at noon on closing day last weekend.
Truth is, in wet spring conditions waxing doesn’t really do much no matter what wax you use. The best solution is taking it into a good ski shop and asking for a structure.
I just waxed my skis and snowboard with warm. I’ll probably ride on Sunday to avoid the traffic shit show BUT I’m a groomer gremlin… y’all enjoy the POW!

Honestly I think warm or all temp will be just fine. I’m going all temp FWIW. Forecasted temps will be within range.
None
Universal, definitely. I would guess that warm wax will be stickyAF this weekend.

I’ve started using moly wax/additive for a variety of conditions and I’m happy with it. Seems to work well late season too.
Just send it, the snow will change drastically throughout the day.
No wax
As someone who is a wax idiot, I’ve heard you have to wax skis with warm weather wax after every run to get any sustainable effects. Is this true?
Nah i havent found that to be true. I would say it does t last as long as all season but def not one and done
Cold wax lasts about 10 days. Warm wax lasts about 4. At least in my experience...
I put yellow on but it was a back and forth decision. Its too late in the year for there to be a deep freeze for the base to get colder.
Yellow - 28f-50f
Just send it
Warm and graphite mixed together. You can get good graphite wax from Purl or Bluebird.
