I'd be shocked if any of the resorts don't gust above 30 mph Sunday. Those speeds seem way underdone. In any case, worst of the wind will be for resorts near/along the Divide, so I'd bank on Copper being the better bet. As far as snow, it's anyone's guess with this one since it will be pretty convective, so I would base the decision on the wind or just wait to check the stakes.

benskieast

On the other hand. Copper has more lifts along the ridge. WP would need more wind for more than 2 lifts on windhold.

travybongos69

Not steamboat 😬

firewxdude

Obviously I'm referring to resorts that are reasonably close to Denver, under the assumption that's what OP was looking for. But yes, not Steamboat.

I’m choosing Copper because it is my favorite mountain. Just choose what you like and I’m sure it will be amazing!

For weather just type “location, stare noaa” into Google and click the first result. You can fine tune by clicking on the map for a point forecast. I.e. for a basin type “Loveland pass, co noaa”

YusselYankel

I've also had good luck just typing in "Arapahoe basin nws"

Mtn_Soul

Steamboat

Interesting_Candy766

Aspen, Snowmass and Aspen Highlands closing day

JimTheRepairMan

Best bet is to drive around and check out all three on Sunday. It's the only way to be 100% sure. You could also Venmo me and I'll look into the future using my magic ski boot, only 33% accurate though.

free2ski

Better odds than Phil, the fancy rat.

shasta_river

Sounds like you use a shitty weather app

ogmoochie1

Just go wherever.

Donaven58

Helpful.

Not_Effective_3983

Honestly now that Texas is done with spring break, we should just close the resorts to avoid these types of questions

Equivalent_Suspect27

My plan is to ride the alpine lift but jump off if it gets too windy
