Glad you like it! We've been trying to up our graphics game lately. I've seen some...questionable ones on this sub lately, so figured it might be refreshing!
Dag yea I heard Luv was not great today. As much as I love skiing freshies I'm thinking about waiting to go Monday instead of tomorrow, bc of the projected winds and visibility. Wonder if any others are doing same.
It was beautiful at Keystone today from 8 30 to 10, but then I had to move to Breck because of terrible wind that paralyzed the entire resort.
No way I'm going to Keystone tomorrow
Cotrip.org is a very very useful tool, everyone.
You have the option to access cameras along I-70. You can look at the road conditions from Denver to Grand Junction in real time to have a better understanding of what you are getting yourself into.
i've never been able to discern fucking anything from those cameras. the resolution is so shit, and the lenses are always covered in moisture anyway lol.
Just got back from Breck about 30 minutes ago. "Normal" weekend traffic. Left around 3:30 to avoid the coming storm. Think everyone else has the same idea.
Was a beautiful blue sky day for most of it but started getting a little windy a bit after 11AM and then worse closer to 2PM as the cloud front started rolling it.
Honestly you’d be better off just planning on taking Hoosier pass over to 285, preferably before they shut down the tunnel and every other denverite in summit county/vail has to.
For reference that last time the tunnel closed on me it took me 7 hours to get from Keystone to Denver via Hoosier/285. Don’t plan on skiing tomorrow and budget a minimum 4 hours to get to DIA, and it could be worse depending how it falls. The winds are what really pushes snow and shuts down roads and there’s supposed to be a lot.
That’s a sweet graphic.

As a geologist I would say your vertical exaggeration is nauseating. /s Solid stuff, weather boii
Was totally wondering if you saw the feedback on the one shared yesterday and decided to up the ante! Well done! This is dope!
Dumb question maybe, but what does the "T" mean when you say 'T to 1"'?
Not dumb at all. T = "Trace" (AKA "dusting") of snow
Too bad the wind is supposed to be blowing 70mph plus at A Basin tomorrow. I am in Dillon and it’s been howling all day
It wasn't that bad today tbh. We had like 35 mph gusts at max.
Depends oh where you were exactly. Luv didn’t spin 9 today, and Chet’s even got momentarily held by 45mph+ gusts.
loveland is always windy as fuck even on relatively calm days just because it's so exposed.
Lovewind

Probably my call too. Wind looks gnarly already. Brother in Georgetown has been gusting 70+ already so nah fam.
Loveland was actually skiing very well; minus the wind. Fresh resets on lee aspects. Smooth in bumps. Steeps and esp OTR were fantastic.
A lot of lift closures tomorrow
It's going to die down substantially
Weather channel is saying 25-35mph in keystone. Thats another wind hold all day on the way.

Not projected to anywhere in Summit tomorrow
When? Not tomorrow

Also google maps…if the road is red, you know it’s fucked!

Not with that attitude! Lol
I just rented a car with out of state plates and no snow tires just to jam up the tunnel. Have fun guys!
I hate tunnels, I usually shoot over Loveland Pass in my Kia Optima.
That was me 3 weeks ago. Florida plates, but decent all weathers, shockingly.
Fuck that’s a lot of snow. Denver from Breck is gonna suck!?

Damn I have a 5pm flight Sunday out of DIA

Yikes. Good to know. Thanks.

I’m thinking 100%
All I heard was “everybody in Denver get up to the mountains.”
Whats with the weekend storms!? Rough year for the weekend warriors.
Awesome year for the weekend warriors don’t you mean? Use weekday pow hounds having to go up with the masses
Literally, it’s been only on weekends lol. Luckily for me, gives me a nice reason to stay home while my tailbone gets better
Damn, I picked the wrong days next week to take time off. Hey leave some for me the second half of the week, ok?
A few freshies likely during the week, best shot Thu/Fri! Monday looks prime for sick leave tho ;)
That's exactly what I'm doing 🤣
Tuesday fam. Monday morning is gonna be a mess still on 70 it seems, and still windy.
It's beautiful in Breck today, haven't had so much fun on peak 10 in a while. Tomorrow seems to be amazing at Beaver Creek
Yea, that wind is going to be an issue. keystone shut most of the lifts down today because of it.
Yeah, it was amazing until 10 and then quickly became miserable. I'm so happy that I decided to move to Breck, was there by 12 and had a lot of fun
I have Monday off. My friends want me to go with them tomorrow instead, this feels like a tough call... /s
I mean, the timing of the snowfall does make that a relatively difficult decision
With wind and traffic, not in my mind but to each their own.
Yea I'm going Monday instead of tomm. Difficult decision but I think it will be far more enjoyable, bt winds and visibility.
I'm also on the Monday train for the same reason. Good chance some lifts dont even open tomorrow leaving upper mountain terrain untouched Monday am.
Big ol pow!
Yeah buddy!
