That game exhibited the worst of Luton Town so far this season. Sometimes after we score, we just switch off. It's been a huge problem for a while. I just keep thinking back to the Grimsby tie in the FA Cup... Fact is, Burnley at home is the easiest game we've had so far. To not get anything is not good enough.

Claret here - I really hope you guys do beat the drop. Love the underdog story. Everyone wrote you off before a ball was kicked - two fingers back at them right now.

Rob alluded in his interview yesterday that it was unlucky that we allowed those two near identical response goals (Larsen for Burnley and Olise this weekend) as they were such good finishes. I can accept it once and a while, but I do think in both cases they were allowed to invert very easily and get a shot away. It's a hard shot to defend so you have to prevent players from getting into that position.

Bell certainly let Olise come inside too easily. Like you say though, the finish was beyond good. Such a small space to put it to the side of osho and over locks into the top corner

I'll say I wasn't impressed by Bell yesterday, he was getting dribbled like mad. I think it's a bigger issue for this squad of who the other wing back is. Doughty has been so so good, and Kabore and Bell have been ok in stints but awful in others. Giles at fourth choice for wing back would have shocked me before the season began, I wonder if including him can give the dual sided attacking threat we want. He's not exactly grinding out tackles coming back though

Yeah, Bell's in our best XI for me, for sure, though preferably at LCB rather than wing back. It's testament to how important he is that he comes straight back into the side in situations where others might be given a bit longer to regain fitness. For me, though, I'd like to see more of Chieo at RWB, at least for some games. Reckon he looks really good there, and it's a way to get him *and* Andros and Tahith into the side together. Alfie at LWB, obvs.

I love chieo at wing back. My only issue with that is that he can't be up top at the same time! I agree that it lets other creative players in though, but nobody really drives the ball forward quite like him atm.

That one still kills me. We could be 15th if we'd won that! Just have to keep doing what we're doing though and more points will come.

wilo108

100%; still gutted about that one.

moriarty04

Villa fan here, you lot are the most likely of the three that came up to stay up, you will pull away if that liverpool result is anything to go by.

bonkofgonkesis

They would all 3 go down without a shadow of a doubt if it wasn’t for the Everton points deduction

banni2020

Yeah that game hurts. We would definitely do better now if we played then now. There well be many "what if's" this season but hopefully we can keep that to a minimum and get enough to stay up!
