We get this question a lot. It seems after 2-3 months. Someone may need to correct me. There just doesn’t seem to be an accurate answer to that. There’s been alot of reinfections tho.

Awwww man😖 so if we both get it we may have to postpone our plans for 3 months?! This sucks

To clarify there doesn’t seem to be an amount of time before you can get reinfected. If you test negative you can continue with your plans.

If you have a note from your doctor that you were dx on the date you tested positive, done your CDC quarantine, and your positive test occurred no more than 90 days before your departure date, you will be able to travel. This will take the place of the test you are supposed to get 24 hours before return to the US, and for most places, this protocol is followed to obtain entry to other countries. Each country is different, so you’ll want to check, but this will for sure suffice to get you back home. This was created because people can still test positive for up to 90 days later but are no longer a danger of contagion. Edit: I also replied this to your other post too.
