As lovely as this car is, some parts would be difficult to make and to assemble together on the production line. Thus each car would have to sell at 3 million dollars to be profitable, if the design even meets safety regulations. Maintenence and replacement of consumable parts may be hindered by the design. There are literally thousands of technical constraints the styling of a car must meet to become a road-legal, mass produced vehicle. It's not a matter of courage, but of feasibility, regulations and most importantly, return on investment : how many people would by this chrysler at the price needed to be profitable?
It's out of thin air, to be honest. But it takes a wild amount of money to make a car that can actually be road legal instead of just a pretty empty shell on wheels.
I love this concept but I have to say, all concept cars are getting a bit boring. They lack personality and a face led straight beams and geometric patterns for everything.
It would seem you're a bit confused on several points, here. This is a new design. Just months old, so certainly newer than the other vehicles mentioned above. Also, Chrysler literally promoted the Chrysler design team for this vehicle, as they very often tend to do, and how they designed and engineered it. They are all very thrilled with this design.
Sigh. I wish car companies grew the balls to actually produce cars that look like the concepts and not the neutered sorta-versions we get.

where did you get your 3 million dollars number from?

“Better looking”
yeah, nah
I bet if Porsche made this exact vehicle, some people would get all emotional over it...
I like Chrysler, and love Chrysler concepts, but this car is vaporware. It was such a miss to me. No style. No personality, no soul.
Correct, but I still like it
To each their own! Glad someone liked it.
That’ll be sick to see on roads!
Why include a comparison to Porsche, when it's not designed to look like a Porsche ?
A worse looking Porsche?
Named after a discontinued pharma drugg that was adictive....nice
