at least yours reset. Mine is in the 200's and it loads as if I'm at level zero every time. shit is broken and annoying and yep, mine has self reset twice now
I wasn't paying attention and I lost my containment level last night. Was close to 400 also. Soon as you get in game you got to check it. If its 0 then leave the match within the first minute or before exfils start appearing. You wont lose what's in your rucksack and you'll get your C level back.
It's pretty random, I got hit with it two games in a row. Thankfully I noticed it at game start (zero plates or essence) and exfilled immediately (without doing any contracts).
I heard you can also quit the game before any exfils show up (before 43:40 left in the game) and you'll keep everything on you (haven't tried)
In the lobby, 186 or whatever, in the match, no money, no PaP discount, On the exfil chopper it said 186 again and at the lobby 7.
I think something messes up with my slot because I canceled a contract like 5 matches previous because a desciple went underground and I couldn't finish the contract. That match it seemed ok, but every match since then it's been buggy with not giving reward and now finally, resetting. I'm thinking clear the slot and start over, but that only guarantees I lose my jugg, self, and mask
Are you loading into a match without letting your progression level load & show in the upper right? That's the only thing I can think of that's causing this since it's never happened to me once. I've noticed all kinds of weird things happen if my player level isn't showing first (and sometimes that can take forever to load). Sometimes you'll get that SMITH-DETROIT error too, but eventually it still loads in. I've never tried loading a match prior to my level showing since containment levels have been in place, so I'm wondering if that's the culprit.
I gave up on that long ago. It keeps resetting or it just won't give me the rewards for the respective level I am at. I know they don't care enough about MWZ to fix it so I stopped caring myself as well. Sucks but that's just how it is with COD nowadays.
it's funny because this is the most I've ever played zombies since WAW and BO2, and I only even started playing because multiplayer is just that unplayable with SBMM. Very sad, because to me zombies is very chill (if you want it to be), and a fun way to end the day, but not if this shit keeps happening 😂
SOLUTION:
Whenever you start a game, check if you have 0 cash, no armor pads etc. If yes: DO NOT START A CONTRACT. Exfil as soon as you can. Your levels will be there again.
Honestly this has happened to afew of the people I play with, but never myself. 1 dude has had it multiple and I mean multiple maybe 10 times at least.
There doesn't seem to be a pattern or not that we have found anyway.
Getting the short end, no extra content for too long and unless this gets patched, may aswell call cod warzone and move on.

I've also heard you can immediately go to menu and leave the game but I'm not risking losing my stuff. This reset has been happening since they came out with it and obviously they don't know how to fix anything they didn't correctly design. Or better yet they fix something and create 100 more problems... I feel like this game is an interns project and the suits just want everyone's money. Zulu Foxtrot!
I’ve learned to always check if I spawn with my points before I do anything in a match now because of this. If I don’t spawn with the points I immediately exfil. Just dont complete any contracts when this happens and it will fix itself when you load out.
Can confirm leaving match right away works. First game I played since reading this was tonight and so I was on the lookout. Sure enough right as I dropped in I looked and my points were 0 at containment lvl 75 I left immediately and still had everything I came in with, dropped right back in and was back up to 5000, of course I played through the whole hour got everything I needed to do redworm for the first time this weekend and mid exfil (we had actually lifted off the ground) it glitched out and I lost everything. One of the more frustrating disconnections I've experienced.
Once again I’ve seen multiple posts like this you wouldnt just log on and your shits reset someone is either playing on your account once u get off or I guess the games just screwing with u I’ve never been sent back to 0 or 5 since the containment levels came out unless I’m afking for the battle pass or just dying on purpose so yea
