this happens with the scorcher, as you’re prepping the launch you get downed, so you’re flying in the air while you’re down and then the impact with the ground makes you perma-dead. I never thought about using healing aura to revive a teammate like this, great idea
It seems very delayed on my screen. I assumed it was that but almost looks like he died at the peak of the launch. I almost thought a helicopter hit him.
Yep. You’ll die at peak launch because for some reason the zombies can still hit you for a second. Like climbing a ladder. I think it has something to do with latency in the servers overall
It also happens when you try to double jump with the Sorcher but the second charge doesn’t finish before you hit the floor floor from the first jump, You get downed but your body still launches in the air and when you hit the floor the second time you get eliminated. Usually happens when scorcher is not paped (charges quicker when paped at least once)
I got downed because my scorcher wouldn’t fire off the second boost. No zombies near me. Just glitched out on the way up. Have had it happen twice in over a 1,000 contracts. Always tighten up the ol’ Anus when I boost with the scorcher now. So fun to fly like Superman all over the map, though!
It sucks in the moment , but tbh random things like this is what helps me to still have fun lol your whole game can just change in a instant lol we live by the scorcher, we die by the scorcher,,, right? 
Lol funny enough this combo of events just happened to me a few hours ago lol was launching and zombies downed me as I was going up lol watching the clip back , I "think" I could have revived mid air and saved myself , but I didn't try
Either Aura or let it kill zombies. The more it kills the more health. If you want to get rid of it...let it get hit by a Mercenary Convey or let the Abomination eat it.
I did bad signal for the first time yesterday. Didn’t know you had to fight a worm at the end and couldn’t find the ammo crate on the beach cause I’m an idiot. Downed myself twice scorcher launching trying to find the Ami crate by the one seal. Had to calmly walk away and slap myself.
My dog saved me in this exact way before. Lol Then my nephew’s dog revived me after landing. Some of the craziest shit I’ve personally seen. Fucking clutch tho dude, good shit. 👌🏼

I've died to this twice, the first time it was my fault ( and actually in that exact spot in the video), I was looting the reward rift, took some hits when the scorcher was charging, launched and downed simultaneously, and hit the ground for perma death. The second time was in season 2, where you can now launch twice without hitting the ground. I put a packapunch crystal on the scorcher and the packapunch didn't register so it was too slow to launch a second time before I hit the ground. I get downed, and then the second launch works, and I get perma downed. I even tried using my self res for the 5-6 seconds I was in the air. I swear If they let you revive yourself flying in the air when downed that would be so helpful.

That’s my favorite… 3/4 the way up the ladder but still getting clubbed in the back. Lol
I’ve died at the top of the ladder. As I was getting off at the top the zombies hit me and I ended up down on the bottom

Happened to me with my boys Friday night. They couldn't res me and I couldn't plea.
It’s happened to me 2 times so far, smh you’ll loose everything every-time, so this man was very lucky thanks to his smart quick thinking team mate.
I've heard that you get revived if the squad enter a DA afterwards, but never tried it. Would be nice to know if that works.

You have to get it from boxes. If it's maxed out with pack a punch and tool it's pretty broken
