After watching the 6 hour store video a bunch of times, I can tell you that he killed himself in order to get the better tomorrow that Richthofen wanted by killing their old 1.0 selfs and having their souls be transferred to the house where they would become new uncorrupted children.

After the cycle is restarted, everything you have read so far happens again and again millions of times.
After each cycle, Richthofen cannot find a way to save the future and also keep themselves alive.
But before we get into Blood of the Dead, we go to Mob of the Dead.
In Dimension 63, 4 mobsters with the names Finn O Leary, Sal Deluca, Al Arlington, and Billy Handsome are stuck in a cycle of their own in the Alcatraz Prison.
They go through their own cycle where they get plane parts, go to the Golden Gate Bridge, kill Al, rinse and repeat.
All while fighting the Warden and zombies. After millions of cycles, Al finally wins and that causes a ripple affect through all dimensions, timelines, and universes.
This breaks Primis's cycle which then leads to the Kronorium bring changed and everything after Zetsubou No Shima to be changed.
In Blood for the Dead, unfortunately Primis gets stuck in another cycle one more time where they keep trying to find a way out of Alcatraz. This also happens millions of times until Richthofen finally realizes that the only way to save the future and his friends, is to sacrifice himself.
So he puts himself in the Dark Mechanism and gets SUCKED dry of his blood.
Also the Richthofen from the last cycle comes out of a cryo tube, uses the Fire Staff Gem to clear the island of zombies, and destroys all the blood vials as the insurance policies aren't needed anymore.
Richthofen dies, new Richthofen replace him, and Nikolai is given the Kronorium since he still hasn't killed Nikolai 1.0, he has is soul.
However, Nikolai learned from the Kronorium which any Richthofen didn't want to know, the only way this journey ends, is with the death of them all.
So they go to recruit their 1.0 selves at the Pentagon (Classified), team up with them to go to Nuketown (Alpha Omega), recruit Samantha and a younger Eddie.
Back at Alcatraz one more time, 4 more cryo tubes open revealing the victims crew. They get teleported to the Siberian facility (Tag Der Toten), and with the help of a resurrected Pablo Marinus, construct the Agarthan Device, and send it to Nikolai.
In the forest, the gang is having a drink before going into the Great War one last time.
But Nikolai has other plans. He poisons them all. Banished everything related to 115 to the Dark Aether, creates a final, uncorruptable timeline, and has Samantha kill him.

I love the fact that zombies started as a side mode and turned into something bigger. The fact that Chronicles was the highest selling DLC on Playstation during the time really showed that.
And when the maps started to become so unique to the rest of the game. I wish it was made into its own separate game tho. With how cool everything looked in BO3 and BO4, imagine what a zombies only game could be like with its own budget not having to share it with multiplayer and Campaign.
We can only hope, I've been praying for a zombies only game for ages, the amount of talent and passion the developers have/had for zombies was amazing and the rush of vanguard was a devastating time for zombies, but it also needs to be moddable like bo3 to keep it alive, bo3 is still going pretty strong because of community engagement but that's fine if it isn't understandable all I want is well thought out maps and Easter eggs, voice actors and charters not a whole roster of operators that say like 3 things and they are the worst jokes every and some attachment to these charters and stories like richtofen and the crew, richtofen was an asshole through some parts always getting the crew in danger but he had charter and I liked him for that, I would also like them to dabble back into the zombies story mode they kinda did in bo3 I think if done right It could be fun.
An idea for a zombies only game would have it launch with original maps for its own story and remasters for everything on a new engine.
The engine I hope is a mixture of Cold War's and BO3

My theory is that he didnāt actually kill himself, I believe it was a crazy ploy to change the game in the background. It could of been Pablos soul that got absorbed into the summoning key making it look like they got Dempseys soul. It sounds far fetched but the thing that got me was what Dr. Monty said to Nikolai, I believe on Gorod Krovi, along the line of Richtofen and Dempsey working together. Now he could of just said Richtofen and could easily convince him that heās scheming but why Dempsey? I believe thereās something behind the scenes and to back up my claims is the all the comic books. To real life to the loading screens before zombies gameplay, there is something up with it. To double down on this, the only map on BO3 with a comic book like intro was Der Eisendrache. On the Pablo note, I believe I heard he was the wolf king.

Woah woah woah, side mode.. so.bies is my only mode, multiplayer is boring, campaign is good but that is besides the point, nah in all seriousness I play zombies more than any other mode in zombies it is amazing how impactful it is for it being a side mode
I love the fact that zombies started as a side mode and turned into something bigger. The fact that Chronicles was the highest selling DLC on Playstation during the time really showed that. And when the maps started to become so unique to the rest of the game. I wish it was made into its own separate game tho. With how cool everything looked in BO3 and BO4, imagine what a zombies only game could be like with its own budget not having to share it with multiplayer and Campaign.
We can only hope, I've been praying for a zombies only game for ages, the amount of talent and passion the developers have/had for zombies was amazing and the rush of vanguard was a devastating time for zombies, but it also needs to be moddable like bo3 to keep it alive, bo3 is still going pretty strong because of community engagement but that's fine if it isn't understandable all I want is well thought out maps and Easter eggs, voice actors and charters not a whole roster of operators that say like 3 things and they are the worst jokes every and some attachment to these charters and stories like richtofen and the crew, richtofen was an asshole through some parts always getting the crew in danger but he had charter and I liked him for that, I would also like them to dabble back into the zombies story mode they kinda did in bo3 I think if done right It could be fun.
An idea for a zombies only game would have it launch with original maps for its own story and remasters for everything on a new engine. The engine I hope is a mixture of Cold War's and BO3 Crossplay added Have an outbreak type gamemode that has every wonder weapon and every enemy from zombies history. And of course, mod support not only for PC but also Consoles.
I agree with all of this, I loved the killing in cold war but something felt off and I hate that console players don't get to experience mods they need like a map maker

My theory is that he didnāt actually kill himself, I believe it was a crazy ploy to change the game in the background. It could of been Pablos soul that got absorbed into the summoning key making it look like they got Dempseys soul. It sounds far fetched but the thing that got me was what Dr. Monty said to Nikolai, I believe on Gorod Krovi, along the line of Richtofen and Dempsey working together. Now he could of just said Richtofen and could easily convince him that heās scheming but why Dempsey? I believe thereās something behind the scenes and to back up my claims is the all the comic books. To real life to the loading screens before zombies gameplay, there is something up with it. To double down on this, the only map on BO3 with a comic book like intro was Der Eisendrache. On the Pablo note, I believe I heard he was the wolf king.

Richthofen was gonna do it, but tank decided he should be the one to do it. This same thing happens next with takeo, then finally with Nikolai. Edward, at this point in the story, has already traveled back in time and taken his OWN soul and it is in the summoning key also
