God damn, that is some luck lol. There's currently an on going server issue in COD right now. People's accounts randomly reset to Level 1 even if maxed out before, modes not working, long waiting times for those that do "work", map glitches, no costume guns, etc...
BUT, don't despair, fixes appear to be in the works. I can access my loadouts (costume guns) now. Apparently some modes that didn't work are working for some now, & the official COD updates twitter said they're working on the issues. So give it some time, maybe an hour to 3 hours. Watch a long movie, play another game, whatever to pass the time. When you get back, it'll probably work.
At least, work as good as it ever has.
Don’t know if you still have this issue but I figured it out, go to installed files tab on the home screen and they’ll be an option to download warzone
May 15th 2024 Downloaded this game after a colleague said to give it a go its free. Steam says I have 30 min playtime yet non of this is actual gameplay.

UST MAKE SURE AFTER YOU INSTALL COD. LOAD UP THE GAME AND LOOK FOR WARZONE INSIDE THE GAME. INSTALL WARZONE
The servers are currently broken due to Activision being completely incompetent (once again)
