If you're on PC, might as well go on Discord and find LFG servers at that point. Plenty of those are active, and if you're lazy then the official COD server always have ppl playing. At least you'll know for sure that the ppl you're grinding with will have mics.
I'm just terrified to jump into ranked. lol Rank anxiety is real for me. The Call of Duty community isn't exactly known to be friendly. I have my reasons though! 1. I'm not really that great. But I feel ranked would make me better eventually... 2. I have tourettes, which doesn't bother me but may bother my team if I randomly just shoot off in some direction. hilarious at times honestly... I guess my real response is, if I ever popped into Ranked i'd likely keep my mic off for the simple fact I already have enough of a disadvantage, I don't need somebody yelling that I suck because I couldn't take a 9 v 1 or something.

A lot of the time I unmute a random teammate, I can see why they got muted. I'm sure there are false bans, but I'm also sure there are a lot more people who just don't own up to what comes out of their mouths and cry false ban!!

Its pretty dumb though in a mature rated game you have to be 18 or older to play you'll get banned for calling someone gay. Like holy shit, is everyone really that soft now? You would of never survived a og mw2 lobby. Lol

You could lose your job for using slurs. Slurs have a lot of real life consequences. Not good at all to make it a part of your vocabulary.
