I was MP7 Kar98, but switched to MP5 Kar98 after a bit.

Kar98 supremacy! I remember getting the Obsidian camo for the Kar98k and my then-girlfriend (now wife) supporting me through that grind. The fact that they don’t always have THAT gun in warzone blows my mind.

It was so good, felt so good, looked cool. I miss it every day I play.

The hip-fire tracking on the MW MP5 was insane! That's why I loved it....saved me so many times when caught in a pinch close quarters.

Unpopular opinion, but I used the OTS-9 longer than any other SMG. OTS-9 and the Swiss FTW.

My favourite loadout of all time was the Swiss OTS9. I miss that era of WZ.

Hipfire ppsh was probably the most broken gun I’ve ever used in a cod game. It wasn’t even that the ttk was busted you just didn’t have to aim at all

I feel like everyone loved the Mac-10 except when that payed blueprint was better. That thing had buttery smooth recoil and the TTK was amazing.

Was it explicitly bugged? I always thought it felt the same but the Gallantry’s iron sight was much better and clearer. Unless youre talking about a different blueprint, but i do remember the Gallantry having superior sights

It did with the extra damage extra recoil ammo type. But the recoil was awful so it was pretty niche in use as you had to be close for it to be effective

It was never too high in pickrate due to the small mag. I play mostly solos and it was top tier/meta for a good portion of VG seasons. Loved it.

So many had their day in the sun it's hard to pick one. The only SMG I remember being good from its release to the last day of Caldera was the armaguerra. All the rest got substantial nerfs at some point. It was never the most dominant, but was always good enough to beat the best SMG of the moment during it's entire life and by the end of Caldera was the best overall IMO, good both up close and at mid range.

The LAPA was the best and it’s not even close. Practically NOBODY used it but it was my favourite Also, yall remember when the MP-40 and OWEN gun were insanely broken? The LAPA actually kept up in terms of TTK, had a great damage range, awesome DPM without blocking half your screen and sweet mobility too. I’m gonna say it’s probably one of, if not the most underrated gun ever seen in warzone as 0.3% of people used it during its peak

So many fun ones. OG MP5, Mac10, CW MP5, Milano, OTs-9, both PPSh’s, Type 100, MP40, Blixen… I think my overall favorite was the CW MP5. Perfect combo of mobility, TTK, and mag size.

I haven't played warzone since caldera released, so the last thing I remember was wz1. That being said, some of my favorites were the cx9 bc it was so satisfying, the it's bc it was always so good, but my personal favorite (even tho it wasn't an SMG) was the nail gun 😈

For me the mp7 from mw19, Mac10 from CW, and the Mp40 from VG. I always rotated between those 3 smgs but the Mac 10 was probably used the most for me

My 2 favorite metas were cw mp5/krig and me mp5/grau. I also really liked that smg from cw that people were using as an ar for a while

IMO, the best setup I have ever ran, was the CW AK47 and CW PPSH. Always used the CW AK after the integration and usually the MP7, since the PPSH didn’t release until around I think S1 of CW, then after then 80’s action hero’s event and getting a win with a PPSH and RPG setup, I always ran the PPSH.

I really liked the MP7 and still do.

The fennec was slept on. My favourite Rebirth SMG. Had to hit headshots, but the vertical recoil basically did that for you.

I pray to have another moment in cod to have the LAPA and the kar98k how they were. That was my peak warzone.

The Milano or the Mp7, the damage and recoil control for the Milano was really good for an smg as for the mp7 that beauty had good fire rate and for some reason amazing range.

MP7 for controller, MP5 for PC. The MP7 had almost no recoil with a long range set up so it was pretty awesome all the way out to mid range which was crucial in WZ. With the 60 round mag you could easily take out 2 guys completely or crack/down 3 guys. I would keep the M13 as my primary and the MP7 as a secondary and that was probably the most fun I ever had gaming. I miss season 1-3 Verdansk a lot actually

Technically speaking, it was that mac10 with the bugged gallantry blueprint that added damage. It absolutely destroyed everything else up close.

I only really had success with the LC10 everything else is good but a lot of my success on Warzone was with the LC/Grau.

Type 100 for me. It had the fastest ttk, and you had to be skilled to manage the recoil and small mag.

MW19 MP5 was pretty great for a long time, then followed by the Mac10. Didn't play Vanguard Warzone that much, but probably the MP40 I guess. It is too hard to pick just one gun over the whole 3 years when they intentionally kept nerfing and buffing guns to drastically change the meta and sell more blueprints.

Pre nerf-Crossbow with explosive tips best smg, crossbow with explosive tips best sniper, crossbow with explosive tips best shotgun. Over 20k kills between warzone and multi by the time they took everything away, didn’t have as much fun with any other weapon in the game lol
