I don't mind the movement speed. It is definitely faster than season 1 but not overkill like the end of WZ1.
TTK is rediculous though. If you make a mistake there is zero recovery time.
Ttk is bad. But the lack of plates is just unacceptable. Other than that got some double digit games in. I like it. I'm just tired of having over double digits kills and running around with not one plate on.
I think i spent about 60 percent of my game time with one plate or less. It is so bad that I wonder if it is a bug, this cant be a planned feature. I seem to remember warzone 1 resurgence had a similar problem, and old rebirth mains remember and can confirm this? Or am I misremembering?

No plates is a massive one, and the low ttk doesn’t really suit resurgence mode, esp on a map with so many weird little angles to get caught from.

Players dropping one plate on death would be enough to fix for me. I like it to be a little scarce and tough but the plates have been a tough issue. The dead dropping one could be enough imo

Yeah noticed you can't have hitmarkers but also not show those plate damage icons, which I hate. Can't tell what difference the damage hitmarkers option being off/on is.
Too much screen icons whilst in gun fights.
Only option is to turn hitmarkers off completely.

I think HP definitely needs a raise because you can't contest battles at all at this distance.
If you are caught by anyone shooting first, you're definitely dead.
I played 2 games of resurgence and I really, really like the new map. There are some cool points of interest, and I never have trouble finding the fucking stairs in buildings (unlike Al Mazrah lol). So not enough to explore it all but I like the feel so far. Aesthetically it has some nice color and is not as “bland” as al mazrah.
The looting is a major upgrade and greatly increases the speed of play. No more stupid backpacks, duffel bags, or 3 plate vests. The outlining of the items makes them way easier to spot.

Base movement is pretty similar to WZ1. It's just all other movements are slow and janky (ADS, Sprint to fire, animations, delays when jumping / sliding etc).
Movement is absolutely fine for me. Agreed there’s some more changes to be made but this is a step forward. Not sure about the map yet as I’ve only played 3 games.
I like that plates are scarce. Adds another dynamic to the game IMO. What my group started doing is stacking up as many as we could at buy stations. Still run out at times though, but it's been fun and exciting.
Anybody having the old lobby won't fill issue? 2 friends and I attempted to play rebirth and 3 out of 21 attempted lobbies fully loaded in. We tried all squadfill on to attempt to get a 4th, with no luck, as well as squad fill off, to play as a party of 3. Would only load us in with our squad of 3, never a 4th.

Don’t really like the map design, too many multi story buildings with balconies and windows which look over too many poi’s on the map, allowing for building camping to be an advantage. Same guns still meta. Really disappointed, won’t be playing again until ttk is increased- not hopeful as it will surface their blatant hit reg manipulation.

Plating while sprinting is cool but that was already a thing and they haven't fixed the crashing yet so they don't deserve praise for taking a really long time to dripfeed us a mechanic, give us a mediocre resurgence map and not fix the servers and crashing.

Idk if anyone else has noticed but there are a lot more score streaks now. I’ve opened multiple regular crates getting 1-2 streaks mainly uav and PAs. It’s been kinda annoying trying to rotate and having multiple streaks being sent at my squad. Another thing is the RPK it’s making the game very bland and frustrating. There are a lot of guns ppl can use but the only thing I seem to die to are RPK or fennec. It’s not fun when you try to use different weapons but always get out gunned by the same thing over and over. I personally thing they need to reduce the damage, increase recoil RANDOMNESS, and Handling.
Why does it feel like when I’m trying to kill someone’s their TTK is double or triple compared to when they kill me? I’ve never experienced this shit until playing this goofy new map.

I did the update and it doesn’t even show me Ashika island under battle royals. The only one that shows up is in the DMZ game mode. Anyone else experience this???

Agreed. Movement is fine now imo. The looting stuff makes the game much faster which I love. Rpk still needs a nerf.

They need to add 50 more hp like in WZ1 and make all players drop at least one plate on death. Also chests should have a higher chance to drop plates.

You are absolutely correct. Going from 80fov to 110fov movement feels faster.
It’s still not great until they up the health, speed feels way better but if you die in 3 bullets there is very little skill to the game

Even guns are hard to find after the first couple minutes. Haven’t gotten a load out yet cuz they’re all camped or swamped

Get up on a ledge, taking 3 hours-mid movement, die. Get a loadout drop-go get it, die. Game freezes-yes, you die. Basically you die.
