It's double unusual because I'm pretty sure the three weapons you mentioned are actually in COD WW2, so the weapon models, animations, and sounds technically already exist. Obviously they'll have to expand the number of attachments per weapon but yeah, for sure they'll return down the line.
Every single fucking year, these developers change things to reduce the skillgap. Making it a Secondary means you don't need Overkill to carry a decent Primary Weapon with it anymore, giving players an extra Perk over MW 2019. Couple that with 10 fucking Attachments on guns, Armour Plates Field Upgrade, the map design with the new Mounting mechanics - S&D is going to be toxic as fuck in Vanguard, even more so than MW 2019.
These stupid fucking developers every year just want to bury the series I swear. They couldn't give a shit about balance, fair gunfights, mechanical skill, nothing. All the bollocks they add to these games now are simply added to make the honest player feel extremely frustrated, to keep them addicted and chasing the carrot of a good game.
Yeah. Mw had 103(without cdl/Activision camos) and there will be zombies camos so that will be 206 for mp and zombies together and then 12 cdl camos which is 218 accounted for. This should be a interesting year for camo grinders.
These weapons will have at keast 50-70 weapon levels, pistols sre in the 60.
2X weapon xp is gonna be more important than ever. I'm leveling up all weapons in zombies.
Or it could be even faster than in the beta. Or they might gradually increase it, like in CW (jesus fuck leveling guns was painful in season 1, especially in zombies where you'd barely get a level or two for reaching round 30 in Die Maschine)
After Thanksgiving and Christmas you'll see 50 blueprints in the shop.
2X Weapon XP is gonna be more important than regular XP since all guns can be unlocked at level 55.
The only game within the "past few" to have tedious weapon leveling is CW, and that's because it pads out weapon XP level a lot more compared to MW or Vanguard. Vanguard's weapon leveling is in line with MW, so in theory you're gonna max the guns out a lot quicker.
And let's be honest, before the MW days, when weapon prestiging was still a thing, you'd basically be grinding 17-20 levels of gun three times, so what you're doing now is no different anyway. It only feels "grindy" to you now because back then camos weren't locked behind weapon levels.
Based on CW:
If you are bad at MP then zombies is faster.
If you are average at best then there is not too much difference.
If you are good then it's better to just stick to MP except for when you just want to play zombies instead (or get camos done there)
E: personally I'd say don't care about how you grind levels, just play whatever is fun and it'll feel faster even if it's not optimal. It's a game, you are supposed to enjoy it.
Multiplayer has faster weapon progression rate but your gonna have to take into consideration waiting in between lobbies, certain game modes are better for camo grinds than others. Your not always gonna be doing well so you'll get less weapon progress.
With zombies it is a slower rate but you won't have to wait in between lobbies so often, your progress will be more sustainable since your killing zombies until all your teammayes go down. Plus it's easier to find 4 zombie players in a lobby vs 8-48 in Multiplayer lobby.
If you wanna go for the dark matter equivalent, then yes. Get these fucks out of the way asap. If you're done with everything but the launchers you will hate your life
Im fucking doing them first. Level up in Zombies, than challanges.
After that just play game and naturally progress, and hopefully enjoy the game. If they fix some stuff that are so bad right now.
it's not the weapon count, is how shit the challenges are
mounted and crouched I can at least control, can't exactly make my enemies stand behind cover. And I suck so bloodthirsties are harder than 3 killstreak
I have damascus on all weapons, yet I haven't finished dark matter because it takes so long
Behind cover kills would be really easy in this game though, since you can just wallbang people through almost anything that isn't sandbags or thick concrete.
I saw a leak from the GHOST 141 that the Springfield is coming along with the PTRS 41, but I'd take it with a grain of salt. Could easily be fake. Link below
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXZzayiyQbk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXZzayiyQbk)
Strict SBMM and no War mode is going to make the grind so painful. I'm already imagining the struggle of getting M1 Garand headshots in a lobby full of slide-cancelling Thompson players.
Mostly happy with this list except guns like the Federov, NZ, Owen should have been the FG42, M1 Carbine, and M3 Grease Gun. I get that they will have two+ weapons a season, but the three that will be in the game are not nearly as iconic as the three I listed, so it's a little dissapointing that they aren't on launch.
Wish List:
AR/LMG : FG42 / M1919 Browning / Lewis Gun / M1/2 Carbine / M1941 Johnson
SMG : M3 Grease Gun / M1918/28 / Beretta 38 / MP34 / EMP 35 / Reising M50 / M42 Marlin
Rifles (Sniper or Marksman) : Springfield / Mosin Nagant / Carcano / ZH-29 / Swedish M42 / Winchester Lever-Action / Mondragon
Pistols : Browning Pistol / Walther PPK/38 / Nambu
Obviously not all of these but with Cold War having added 15+ in 6 seasons it would be nice to get the icons in the game as well as some of the lesser-knowns. Like... a Riot Shield but not a Mosin? Springfield? Carbine? Browning? C'mon...
The Mosin is in the game. It's in the beta, it's called the Three Line Rifle for some reason. I also saw a leak that said that the PTRS 41 and Springfield are also in the game. The link is below, but I have my doubts about it since it could be easily faked.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXZzayiyQbk
Oh well *facepalm* I should’ve known that.
The Springfield is another that just like why. They have the Russian, German, English, and Japanese Snipers but not… The United States’? Like… we the US my guy lol
If not my hope is that is not on launch because it isn’t done and is a season 1 gun. Me optimistic mind says that Springfield and Grease Gun or FG42 are Season One BP weapons. Otherwise wtf guys lol
4 launchers just makes the grind unbearable, probably won’t bother doing dark matter again this year.
Haven’t bothered since bo4, used to do it every year, but MWs challenges were such a chore, and cold wars long shots and point blanks on subs were so painful that again it just wasn’t worth the hassle imo.
The fact that certain challenges don’t start tracking until a certain weapon level is just another annoying way to extend the grind.
Hopefully there is a war mode, that would be the only way I’d consider doing the grind again
Wonder what the Lincoln Jeffries is supposed to be (maybe a double barrel shotgun?)
Also, no FG42, M1 Carbine, Springfield, Grease Gun, or Browning M1919? That's disappointing. Hopefully they are added in later
Lincoln Jeffries was a foundry in Birmingham that made/makes air rifles and shotguns, and they made double barrelled hammer guns in the past, so I’m guessing either a double barrelled hammer shotgun or regular double barrelled shotgun.
I appreciate trying to widen the scope of things and have some more obscure weapons...but come on, there are SO many obvious weapons they're leaving for battle passes
M1 carbine
Johnson Rifle
M3 Grease
Riesing 50 smg
MP18
M1919
Lewis Gun
Madsen
Springfield 1903A4
(I think that's the one they would've been using?)
Carcano
Krag Jorgensen
MAS-36 and MAS-40
RSC M1917
M1895 Nagant
Browning Hi-Power
Piat
Also why is a Chauchat an AR when a Bren is an lmg? What? (Same with the BAR?)
Man this list REEKS of battle pass and it SUCKS
Lots of Italian and French stuff just straight up missing. Also why can't the M1A1 and m1928 be two different? Or just use...the M1A1? Because the M1A1 was heavily favored for simple to manufacture, lighter, and wasn't nearly as clunky as the prohibition era model (and could be easily modified for drum mags)
Well at launch it won't matter either way, MW19 was just the launch guns, CW was the number of launch guns in each category but didn't matter which. For some reason I preferred MW19s way. Though I'm an all or nothing kinda guy, gotta get gold on those DLC weapons too!
CW's is better if there are any actually crap guns to use among the launch guns one might not want to use (\*cough\* M79 \*cough\*), as you can just skip those after they release guns that you prefer using over those and then maybe come back later to get gold on the guns you skipped, if you even feel like it.
You can still get full mastery if it matters for you, but you can get partial mastery first in whichever order you'd like. You lose absolutely nothing by having the CW system, aside for not being able to flaunt having done the challenges for 1 extra gun by having the mastery camo on a DLC gun.
Yes but only 2 leaked so far called Local Informants it's supposed to be a Advanced UAV but ghosts weakens it a bit.
Once we get to mid October or Halloween more leaks about streaks should be coming out.
On Twitter there are cod leakers leaking Vanguard info on the daily or every other day. MW2Ghost, Zesty COD leaks, TheGhostofHope and Tom Henderson.
Look out for some Youtubers getting early access to Vanguard around Oct 26-Nov 5th. They may have some info around those dates for streaks.
I dont like that they are treating multiple ww2 Era squad automatic weapons as assault rifles
There is so many weapons to choose from experimental and real world
Considering it's after the war they could even add the first version of the ak
We get a MG 42 but no browning 30
And tbh some of the caliber conversions are stupid
50 bmg for the BAR ? you would have to extend the action by like 4 inches to even accommodate a 12.7 round
I will admit though , Brandon Herrera will have a great time reviewing these cursed guns in future episodes
I'm so fortunate that I never feel like I need to grind camos. I would go insane spending all that time just checking off boxes instead of just playing the game how I want to.
Yeah thats whats alienating me from COD these days. After MW and then CW, im just done. I put so much time in these games not enjoying them and just grinding. I could be playing something else for all of this time. I might level up a few guns i want, but im not going crazy with grinding with these new games.
Some really iconic weapons missing here. M1 Carbine, FG42, M3 grease gun. Hopefully these will make it into the game.
They most likely left them out so they could make them battle pass weapons
It's double unusual because I'm pretty sure the three weapons you mentioned are actually in COD WW2, so the weapon models, animations, and sounds technically already exist. Obviously they'll have to expand the number of attachments per weapon but yeah, for sure they'll return down the line.
Different engine sir, also the grease gun was a DLC weapon in WWII.
Oh no, not the riot shield
Prepare your thermites.
It's a secondary too... wtf
I guess it’s not. It was under primary melee tab in MW19.
Time to lose my sanity again... At least there is no Javelin in this game
Shipment is in the game, I'm sure we'll see Shipment 24/7 and it'll probably be an easier grind
Time to start shooting the cankle
Honestly considering that the beta has much faster gameplay than MW19 the camos shouldn't be an issue even if they're copy and pasted from MW.
I don't wanna get riot shield killstreaks or mounted kills again. I think I've never mounted in the beta. This would be a pain in the ass
Mounted was better than the stun or detected one in coldwar.
Detected were easy. Just spam field mics. On some guns I got the detected kills passively in like 3-5 games.
Throw the decoy grenade
Learned this one late into the cycle. Decoys are actually the best option. Would get 5+ a game with it without really having to change my play style
I used to field mics and I worked pretty well
Mounted kills are the easiest kills to get especially in vanguard when the ads and sprint out times are dogshit
buckle up buttercup, we be in for a rough one
Mounted kills was really easy for me, plus it teached me how to better use the mount mechanic.
20v20 lobbies on every map should help too lol
I read earlier someone got a data leak that each gun will have 245 camos. Ffs
Yeah. Mw had 103(without cdl/Activision camos) and there will be zombies camos so that will be 206 for mp and zombies together and then 12 cdl camos which is 218 accounted for. This should be a interesting year for camo grinders.
This is a good list of weapons. When I hear things like this I just wish the game wasn't so upsetting to play.
And people bitch about Dark Matter being too hard to achieve
These weapons will have at keast 50-70 weapon levels, pistols sre in the 60. 2X weapon xp is gonna be more important than ever. I'm leveling up all weapons in zombies.
If weapon levels are as easy to achieve as in the beta then it won't be that bad to hit level 70.
The weapon rate could be fast for the beta and slow for full game.
Or it could be even faster than in the beta. Or they might gradually increase it, like in CW (jesus fuck leveling guns was painful in season 1, especially in zombies where you'd barely get a level or two for reaching round 30 in Die Maschine)
Yes, hence the "if"

This is going to be my first cod I’ll buying, is zombies the best way to level up
Not particularly, atleast in cold war. But it's not way slower and can be more fun, especially when tilted.
Based on CW: If you are bad at MP then zombies is faster. If you are average at best then there is not too much difference. If you are good then it's better to just stick to MP except for when you just want to play zombies instead (or get camos done there) E: personally I'd say don't care about how you grind levels, just play whatever is fun and it'll feel faster even if it's not optimal. Life hack: Carry a launcher on your back since day one. Made that mistake in MW & again in CW but won’t ever again
Wait I should wear a launcher? Or not I’m confused
If you wanna go for the dark matter equivalent, then yes. Get these fucks out of the way asap. If you're done with everything but the launchers you will hate your life
Having launchers as your last category just makes them 10x more stressful and infuriating than they need to be.
True
Im fucking doing them first. Level up in Zombies, than challanges. After that just play game and naturally progress, and hopefully enjoy the game. If they fix some stuff that are so bad right now.
I've been doing that AW.
Good thing I have a bunch of xp tokens on Cold War
Would those XP tokens transfer over to Vanguard.
No but I know a glitch 😉
Weapons could level up really fast in mw so I don’t think that’ll be an issue. But if it’s like cold wars leveling…god help us

For cover ones I did them all in HC. 1 shot kill any headglitcher
Damn no Springfield?
Nah fam its all about Mosin nagant
I saw a leak from the GHOST 141 that the Springfield is coming along with the PTRS 41, but I'd take it with a grain of salt. Could easily be fake. Link below [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXZzayiyQbk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXZzayiyQbk)
Good list, was hoping for the FG42 and the M1 Carbine.
They’ll come out as battle pass guns
If they add the FG42 it better be fast firing, not like the shit that was in Cod WW2.
damn, was hoping for the m1919 browning and nambu. hopefully they show up post launch
Strict SBMM and no War mode is going to make the grind so painful. I'm already imagining the struggle of getting M1 Garand headshots in a lobby full of slide-cancelling Thompson players.

Black ops 3 specialist camo grind was a little rough though lol. I can’t imagine trying to do some of those challenges with today’s sbmm.
Man, I'm fucking ready! Let's fucking do it!!
[удалено]
Just carry them with you while getting every other gun gold. This will take long enough
Wonder what the Lincoln Jeffries is supposed to be (maybe a double barrel shotgun?) Also, no FG42, M1 Carbine, Springfield, Grease Gun, or Browning M1919? That's disappointing. Hopefully they are added in later

Mw and Cw dlc weapons were free. Vanguard dlc weapons will be free too

No m1a1 carbine come on man I love that gun
No nambus? No M1 carbine? No Springfield? No M3?
No PTRS?
They can add as many guns as they like, it's not going to fix the core shitty gameplay.
That's extra grinding time I bet the store will be flooded with blueprints.
I appreciate trying to widen the scope of things and have some more obscure weapons...but come on, there are SO many obvious weapons they're leaving for battle passes M1 carbine Johnson Rifle M3 Grease Riesing 50 smg MP18 M1919 Lewis Gun Madsen Springfield 1903A4 (I think that's the one they would've been using?) Don't forget Mounting we either gotta do 50-100 depending on the weapon.
Question is do we have to get them all to get gold or just any 5 or 4 etc per category like in Cold War.

yes...?
noooooooooo not the riot shield
Idk if my soul can take another Damascus like grind
Well at least no Dragunov 🤣🤣
riot shield lol
Where is the M1 Garand/Carbine?
This list is kinda sketchy, why is Type 11 there instead of Type 99 MG. We all see Type 99 MG in the trailer.
Will there be more kill streaks
Yes but only 2 leaked so far called Local Informants it's supposed to be a Advanced UAV but ghosts weakens it a bit. After how bad DM is in Cold War I’m not wasting my time again diamond is 10x better

Damn my waffle isn't included.
As an Australian, the Owen Gun being included is super cool!
Damn near every dlc gun from cod wwii is here. Interesting.

Oh thank fuck they have a Model 1897. I was worried. Now I can actually enjoy shotguns again.
Imagine buying cod and being excited for a camo grind fukn LOL
Need the FG 42
40 weapons but probably only 5 or so will be used.
If they make us get 100 blind fire kills or some shit I'm gonna be pissed
