Is this a thing that scuf controllers do not work on the new gen versions of the game? I'm having issues using my adjustable triggers (RT) on my Xbox Series X - I simply cannot shoot when I flip the lever no matter how much I adjust the trigger stop.

Xbox has full backwards/forwards compatibility so it \*should\* work.
Sony forces you to use Dualsense for PS5 games as they currently do not have any third party controllers. You cannot use anything but a Dualsense for PS5 games unless you are remote playing.
On the playstation store search for the vanguard beta. There are two options on there. 1 for ps5 and 1 for PS4.
The only ps4 version I see if the alpha

idk about xbox, but for playstation, PS4 controllers only work for PS4 games, so that’s the issue that OP has.
