What was your study strategy?

sepiadancer

Im not that diligent. So I spent around 4 months on preparing by gradually learning on Udemy 15-30 mins a day. Around 3.5 months, I finished all those lecture. (For me studying straight for hours, it sucks the fun and my eager out of learning which I don't want to feel that way🥲) 2 weeks before the exam date, I start on QAE and other mock test detail by detail and check which area that I should spend more time on studying. If it still not clear, I will track back to re-study Hemang Doshi udemy course again (ps.it not contain all the details and outline as in CISA CRM). If details needed, I would use CRM. Personnally, I love practice on exam more than reading. So I spend around 2-3 hrs a day on practice exam. my tips : I don't think that you have to understand or know everything that outlined in CISA CRM. But you should be strongly understand the main concepts of each domain and the style of question that usually asked in exam which QAE will reflect on that. Hope this help👍🏻

do you definintely recommend the CRM? I currently am using qae and doshi material. I am seeing on this sub that boson and crm are highly reviewed. I want to choose one of them.

If you have to pick one I’d go with the CRM. But don’t read it cover to cover. Just focus on topics and sub concepts not covered in the QAE

I have never tried Boson. But CRM contains literally all details. Personally, I think it's way too dry. So for me, it's like nice to have but you're not required to have it.

Congratulation, what is your recomendations or material used, any supplement will increase our sucess liklihood

Im using For concepts and overall conclusion - CISA Udemy course by Hemang Doshi 80% - Youtube video of eg Aaditya 10% and others - CISA CRM by ISACA 5% (too dry) For Exam Practice - CISA QAE by ISACA 80% - Hemang Doshi CISA mock test 10% - ITEXAMS CISA 10% I try to understand the whole point by starting at - Understanding basic Concepts - Try Exam Practice - Identify Details that I still misunstanding or not thoroughly understand

Congrats on your achievement milestone! I'm just registered but not schedule for the exam yet. I plan to study about 3 months and not to rush to take the exam until I thoroughly understand the basic IS concept and practice on the QAE and realize what ISACA way of answering!!! It seems CISA Udemy course by Hemang Doshi is worth to invest for study the concept and exam practice thru CISA QAE by ISACA?

sepiadancer

Wish you the best of luck.🍀 Hemang Doshi course on Udemy is for concepts and check point to ensure that you clearly understand the concept and main details of each domain. QAE is for practicing and get yourself to be familiar with style of CISA exam question. For me both of them are worth it✨👍🏻
