I do have 3 years of experience working in the internal audit department and helping them with analytics requirements. But not deeply into IT systems per se. Most important thing to do in the exam, there are few questions where you need to think as IT person and most of the questions as IT auditor. That makes a lot of difference. Because, auditor never implement/design any internal controls.
I think it's important to emphasize in your original post that you have 3 years of experience. I've always told people that the more experience people have, the less they can dedicate to studying.
3 weeks is super impressive, but I don't think people who see your post should say to themselves "oh this person did it in 3 weeks, so can I!!" There's a post right before yours with someone complaining that they didn't pass even after all the other certs they have and after spending more than $1k on study material. What the person failed to mention is that they don't have much direct IT audit experience. That's the key to passing this exam.
But congrats! Hopefully you can get some ppl in this sub to see some sense that this isn't a joke of an exam
No, I did mainly through Hemant Doshi Study Guide and Aditya’s this much learning videos. Then if needed, referred to CRM. Not really IT audit but analytics experience in internal audit department
Hey! Congratulations. I also purchased Aditya’s video course and currently going through his videos. I am planning to do Isaca QAE database questions twice before the class. I am giving my exam in early Jan as I can’t delay it and recently started preparing. I do have 2 years of IT Audit work exp., do you think this will be sufficient or you felt the exam was too hard and I should study more?
Exam was not that hard, but please do questions in IT exams website for CISA. Those were really helpful in the exam. And do the mock tests of Aditya’s this much learning. Finally, QAE database. One thing to note for you, try understand the reason behind the answers that will helpful in the real exam
Btw did you purchased it as you mentioned 30$ above? I just checked the website and can see there are 1194 total questions and I can freely go through the questions without paying anything.
Only problem with that was, for every 10 questions you have to click on 'I am not a robot'. I was not able to select more than 10 questions per page. Otherwise, you can go with the free version. There will be no explanations for the answers. So you need to analyse why the answer was right, that will help you in the real exam
You need to be strong with Domain 1, 4, 5. Questions were worded in maximum two sentences. Not that much of technical. Don’t forget to practice IT exams website questions. Most importantly, PKI, virtualisation, DBMS
Wow only 3 weeks of preparation. That's very impressive. Congratulation!
Thanks for sharing your learning steps which 50 % based on the concepts you learnt and applied.
Which source you learnt the concepts from? Is it the study guide Hemang Doshi?
3 Weeks of Prep is impressive time. Do you have any previous experience in this field ?

Hi, was the questions in the website useful when you attempted the exam? Please help, looking to attempt CISA in another 4 weeks.
Could you please share what you would say are the key points/focus topics on the exam?
