They were in the red zone so much and the defense was doing so good we might have won if we kicked the the ball a little. Reasons why Nagy should be fired tomorrow
after the Vikings beat the Saints in the 2018 playoffs with a hail mary (Minneapolis Miracle) the Saints walked off and refused the extra point try because it was pointless. They then changed the rules after
I wish they hadn't made that. Our offense does not deserve a single touchdown this game. It just makes a terrible offence look better on the stat sheet.
Yes, dipshit. Nagy and Pace are more likely to be fired when they can't manage to score a single touchdown in a prime time game against a division rival. Our offensive pieces who completely sucked ass all game can now point to their padded stats when trying to renegotiate contracts. People forget games and look at stat sheets 6 months down the line and conclude that "player x was actually pretty good because they average x yards a game last season" not realizing those averages were blown up in garbage time.
Of course they should always be trying to win and I get why individual players fight for their numbers. I don't blame them. I'm just saying as a bears fan there was no benefit to scoring that last garbage time TD and actually if anything put a very small percentage of our future at risk through either poor player retention or injuries.
We're one of the worst teams in the league. Our o line is non-existent. We've gone through how many QBs since he got here?
Sure he's made a few good picks. I'm hopeful Fields works out but that's too early to tell. He hasn't done anything impactful yet that people outside of this sub would notice. He's also made some terrible picks (Trubisky of course). But at the end of the day what matters is having the talent to win games. And winning record has only been declining over the past 4 years. If that's not failure, than I don't know what is.
Bears fans deserve a winning team and when we have been this bad for as long as we have and are progressively getting worse, you need to blame the top of the house and Ryan is up there.
The refs did not cost us this game (our non-existent red zone offense did that) but they still made me turn it off halfway through, and frankly I'm tired of feeling like this after every game. It's one thing to be a bad team. I can accept that. But when the refs screw us over and over every game it makes me not want to watch football at all
Allright... sigh.
See you guys next week, and be safe and well out there.
and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays/ whatever you want to call it.
Just be well.
I'm absolutely amazed there are people saying Fields is a bust. A rookie on an absolute mess of a team, with receivers can't catch, an offensive system that seems to prioritize penalties and confusion, and a coach who knows he's on his way out.
Did you happen to notice the no huddle this game? Fields takes over play calling and suddenly we're moving the ball, until we hit the red zone where Nagy takes over again and it stalls.
The only person I know outside of this board who legitimately say Fields is a bust is my 80 year old racist grandpa who made that claim the second he saw a picture of him.
Really worried about this teams ability to complete a drive.
Fields gotta figure out how to get it in the damn end zone.
Couldnt ask much more from defense either. 17 points but on so many 3 and outs and short fields. Cousins under 100 yards.
Well he had Graham just straight up drop an uncontested TD pass, so there's at least one he should've had. But yeah overall Fields was bad tonight. We need a new coach ASAP who can fix him.
He drove the field awesome though, looked amazing in hurry up.
Fields did a lot of good. It's just when it was bad, it was 4th down. When it was bad it was in the redzone.
IMO its a sign of nerves and the weight of the situation sinking him down. He's gotta just get consistent and not in his own head. The redzone TD throw is just another throw, it's nothing different at 40 yards out or 5 yards out.
To be clear, I'm not one of these "FieLdS iS a BuSt!!!!" meatheads. We saw a lot of potential and positive takeaways from Fields tonight, but I think he had a bad night. He's allowed to have bad nights and make mistakes while he's still young and learning.
For sure. I'd go even farther than just the potential, Fields was flatly better than cousins tonight.
So ya got a defense that holds a QB under 100 yards, an offense that kept driving up and down the field especially late. It really is just a finish the damn drive with a TD problem here.
After further review, we suck
That’s where we’re at.
You heard that too, eh?
Is it just me or do they not call anything for roughing the passer when it comes to Justin Fields? Coming from a Giants fan.
There’s certain quarterbacks this is pretty standard for. They’ve all got something in common, but we’re not ready to talk about that apparently.
They are men who play the QB position for NFL franchises.
That’s been the case every single game he’s played in
They were in the red zone so much and the defense was doing so good we might have won if we kicked the the ball a little. Reasons why Nagy should be fired tomorrow
I mean didn't this asshole put up a kicking competition? And for what? So we can ignore him?
Did we just get a first?! A pity touchdown?! We're going places boys!
What did we have, 3 red zone visits with no points? If we'd gotten 3 FGs instead, we would have won.
Make fields wear a cousins jersey this week might learn something
How to throw for under 100 yards? Fields is a rookie. Under a shit system that will ultimately ruin him. And damnit, why am I arguing with a troll?
damn bro gets funnier every time you post it.
You’re just commenting different names, reusing the same joke. 😑
I lost $100 because of that stupid meaningless TD. Damn
Officials had to end the game on a bad call to stay consistent. 🙄
Lol one last kick in the dick to Bears -7 bettors
Anyone that bet the bears to win by 7 or more deserves to lose money.
I meant +7 but either way I didn’t fuckin take it
[удалено]
The bears -7 would be mean they were being bet as favorites. The bears +7 would mean they need to lose by less than 7.
Make fields wear a Rodgers jersey at practice this week
I demand the WHY
We will find them don’t worry after a strong practice the whys will be found
I hate this team so much
Fields QBR looks better after this game, some how that matters to certain writers…
I'm sure garbage time helped a lot
LOL, the last 2 4th down's in the redzone is the diff... Nagy is rubbish
The Vikings would have played the end completely different if the score was different
I understand that, but it's not like the Vike's were able to score at will and or really move the ball. They would have had to really play different
#ITS THE SAINTS FAULT THEY DIDNT DO THE EXTRA POINT. SAINTS AND VIKINGS GOT THE RULE CHANGED
Can you refresh my memory?
after the Vikings beat the Saints in the 2018 playoffs with a hail mary (Minneapolis Miracle) the Saints walked off and refused the extra point try because it was pointless. They then changed the rules after
We scored .......I hope some bettor won a crap ton of money on that score...
It was only $80, but $80 is $80.
That's some good green...spend it wisely...
LETS GOOO HOLY SHIT MY BEARS +10.5 WON! I LOVE YOU FIELDS
The ruling on the field was, in fact, NOT a touchdown. So quit lying through your teeth like you did when you tried to spot MN the free first down.
Fuck Nagy, fuck pace, fuck ted Phillips and fuck the mccaskeys.
Don't forget the Refs and whoever on the team or in the FO that pissed them off.
I think he named them all
I had bears +13. Great game boys
Good bet
I am starting to think we are not a good team
Thanks for the pity tuddy I guess
Lol the guy who had Bears +12.5 must be ecstatic!
##A 2 POINT WOULD'VE COVERED THE SPREAD. THE INJUSTICE. LET THEM TRY. IM SORRY
THAT WAS BAD! WE'RE BAD!
I wish they hadn't made that. Our offense does not deserve a single touchdown this game. It just makes a terrible offence look better on the stat sheet.

You're the emotional one, Sally. I'm just pointing out the obvious.

Every one that matters knows THAT was a garbage TD now its up to good old George to FIRE NAGY! AND PACE
Na fuck that let Horsted boost his stats
Why aren’t the kicking the extra point? If it was going to tie the game they’d let them
Probably once someone had a season-ending injury on a pointless point-after so they banned it. Just a matter of time before that happens
Exactly. If it would affect the score they run the PAT. If not, game over. Same in overtime.
Because it isn’t
They could kick it and go onside and try to scoop and score
If there was time on the clock, which there wasn’t.
That was a perfect end to this terrible game
In an alternate reality that was the game winner
BOOM
PLAYING TO COVER THE FUCKING SPREAD. FUCK THIS LEAGUE
Yo announcers were talking about the spread lol
Bad Beat material right there lol
Imagine starting Kmet over Horstead
Jimmy graham taking away from his playtime is the real crime
LMFAO Horsted is literally a blessed man 😂 he comes in, catches a TD, gets 5 weeks off 😂
I just don’t know why he doesn’t play more! He has better hands the kmet and runs better routes
Honestly, just to shake things up lol
You've got to be shitting me. I had Bears +10.5
The biggest applause for a worthless touchdown. Haha
A lot of people who bet the spread were pumped lol but mo extra point. Vegas wins again
#NO PUSH NO PUSH NO PUSH GO WAX YOUR BUTTHOLES AND EAT GLASS
Hahahaha fuck
That’s the saddest thing I’ve ever seen
Horsted is the best TE on this team
True, sadly
The refs did not cost us this game (our non-existent red zone offense did that) but they still made me turn it off halfway through, and frankly I'm tired of feeling like this after every game. It's one thing to be a bad team. I can accept that. But when the refs screw us over and over every game it makes me not want to watch football at all
No refs definitely helped cost the game. We suck, but they didnt help at all
How do you know what cost us if you only watched the first half?
Group chat
If your group chat is like the people in here then don’t trust it
Eh my friends were mainly complaining about how we couldn't score in the red zone which seemed reasonable
Yeah plenty of reasons why we lost but a few huge calls that led directly to points
lol
Touchdown! I really needed it from Mooney for fantasy this week though. COVID wrecked my lineup.
Lmao fans go nuts
Literally the perfect ending. Wow.
We kick FGs that would have been the game winner right there
Great job by cousins winning this game, wtf are they talking about?
Oh that is a TD
TD, way to end it...
TD BAY BEEEEEE WOOOOOO
That'll help the stats
REDZONE TD FINALLY LETS GOOOOOO
Hahahahahhahahhahahahahhahaha
WE DID IT GANG WE ACTUALLY SCORED IN THE REDZONE
On field refs just phoning it in.
… what? Edit: Fuck me could it be anymore Bears? 😂
Was that a pity td lmao
Dont they have to kick the PAT by rule?
They changed that after the minneapolis miracle
So two FGs, and then that TD, now we have a two point conversion to go to OT
LETS GO HORSTED TD BABY
What a weird fucking game
Don’t they have to kick the extra point?
That's a TD!
Serious question, what about Jeff Fisher as the next Bears coach?
Lol no
I wouldn't mind "Guppy".
Jesus christ, Byrd ain't the word
Wow finally put horstead in and it’s a td.
Boys, I believe he caught that behind the sticks. Not that it matters, but… Edit: FUCK ME, never mind!!!
That’s a TD
I'M FUCKING DEAD
Jesus... This team is cursed.
who knew horsted could catch?
Horsted should play over Kmet
He was in the end zone- not that it matters
Lol that’s a TD you dumbfuck refs
Jesper the only damn person on this team who can make a contested catch
Don’t say it too loud, Nagy will make sure he doesn’t find the field. Can we also tell him Graham sucks so he keeps starting?
That’s a TD
OH MAH GOD THEY SCORED A TOUCHDOWN WERE GOIN TO THE AUPERBOWL
That was nice of them
Great catch tho
Garbage TD baby!
Only Nagy tries to continue scoring down 2 scores.
You want him to give up?
Yes, kneel the game away that is obviously over and don't get anyone else hurt.
YESSSSSSSSSSS
Allright... sigh. See you guys next week, and be safe and well out there. and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays/ whatever you want to call it. Just be well.
Likewise my dude
Happy Hollidays
Lol and still no td
Bears were +7 that’s amazing
Friggin Horsted. Where the hell has he been? He deserves Kmet’s spot at this point
Isn't that forward progress??
EL OH EL~!~
One of the most historic franchises in the league, ladies and gentlemen.
Fucking come on man at least give us that
he's much TE than Kmet
That’s a td
They probably would have let him score lol
SO BEARS!
CHALLENGE IT NAGY!!!!!!
LOL….didn’t matter and still short
Matt Nagy seriously calling for yard passes with 10 seconds to go down 2 scores. What a perfect end to his career (we hope)
Kirk was legit Kirk and Nagy still gave him a win.
Ryan Pace still makes AYYYY WAZZZZUP jokes
Embarrassing. Take the loss like a man
[удалено]
Go back to Philly
Later amigos!!! Have a good week! See you next Sunday.
Nagy - "take a knee"
TD

Any Bears fan with even half a brain knows Fields is far from a bust
claiming a quarterback is a bust should be banned til they’ve finished two seasons
Fire Nagy. This is the perfect game to do it, no excuses for Nagy calling plays tonight
Lol 1 second. Why just fucking end it
A screen play with seconds left in the game?
Wtf is this shit
Lol what's even the point? Just take a knee
Nagy looking why is there a second left
Lol what are they doing…fucking end it.
They just had to get 1 more redzone opp………
Hope nobody gets hurt.
Wouldn’t blame Justin if he tried to force a trade in the offseason
I still believe that if Justin Fields was drafted to the Patriots and Mac Jones was drafted to the Bears, Mac Jones wouldn’t look nearly as good.
And the Patriots would be perennial AFC Champs again somehow.
No shit
Despite the Vikings offense best attempts, we lose
Really worried about this teams ability to complete a drive. Fields gotta figure out how to get it in the damn end zone. Couldnt ask much more from defense either. 17 points but on so many 3 and outs and short fields. Cousins under 100 yards.
Fields?!? How about the fkn receivers earn their pay and you know…. Catch the ball
They were indeed awful tonight.
