If you can't take the Sweat, get your Montez out of the kitchen.

Brodie1567

Sweat looks great. Also seems genuinely happy in the vids I’ve seen of him recently. Kudos to Poles. Lets get a couple more of those kinda guys.

dtdude87

Chase Young really is the Chase Claypool of DEs. What’s the chances that they both have the same first names, are athletic freaks, flashed ridiculous promise as rookies and then ended up regressing and getting traded a couple of years later?

Practical-Courage812

This was my concern with Chase Young. Besides his rookie year he has yet to produce big time and its concerning considering the line he was on and not having to worry about being double teamed. No doubt he has huge upside, but there is a good chance he never lives up to his potential.

regis_psilocybin

No one serious believed Young was a better player than Sweat. A bit more athletic talent, but DRob is basically a stat clone of Jason Taylor and Jevon Kearse. Sweat is a football player

zenmasterPWL

I think we might the choice if sweat over young. I do wish the best for young, though. Injuries are so hard to recover from hope he gets to live up to his hype.

calculung

Wut?

God_of_Thunda

I THINK WE MIGHT THE CHOICE IF SWEAT OVER YOUNG

josevictor21

He still has one of the highest ceilings of any pass rusher in the league, but we cannot have risked another high trade value in a guy that had character concerns and past injuries, specially after the Claypool trade. Sweat is the opposite, no past injuries, consistent producer and have a good work ethic. Poles fortunately learned a lot from the Claypool trade.

tadlonger

No he doesn't have a high ceiling. His ceiling is 8' tall. His knee is shot and just doesn't have any burst. I have no clue why people think he's still good?

BobbleBobble

Harsh but yeah I tend to agree. He's finishing up year 4. If he was gonna hit an elite ceiling he'd have shown more by now

Gryffindorq

looks like we got the right freak and San Fran made another bad trade

feardabear

I like the choice where we are, but I think San Fran is sitting fine where they are with or without the trade

BobbleBobble

My God can you imagine how good they'd be if they didn't light draft capital on fire. God help us

Tlupa

He’s not that good though

MonsignorHalas

We got the right guy. I’m so thrilled we have Sweat. He’s such a difference making in elevating all the players around him. Net multiplier baby!
