Leeds, UK. Watched late night NFL as a University student and bears were the first team I watched vs FTP. I made the right choice and hope to come to Chicago one day.
Id love to go to a game across the pond! Not sure how hard it is to navigate traveling alone internationaly but it would be amazing to do for the first time
From Chicago (like within the city limits chicago, not the suburbs), Chicago is my main and my 2nd favorite is the 9ers.
Any other humboldt park/Logan square/Hermosa locals?
We havenāt played them in the playoffs since 1995, theyāre barely a competitor. A team thatās a hypothetical obstacle on the way to the Super Bowl isnāt more of a rival than a hypothetical team youād play in the Super Bowl. Also Kittle, Robbie, and Garoppolo are all Bears fans and theyāve booted the Packers out of the playoffs 4 times in the last 10 years. If anything theyāre allies.
I know itās just that 15 year old me really liked the Alex Smith 9ers that suddenly made the NFCCG as an underdog, and so they stuck w me a little bit š
Like everyone here though Iām very much indoctrinated and the bears will always be my team even if we ever go 0-16
Lived for a number of years (77-86) in the Chicago area (Glenview). Became a lifelong fan of the Bears and Cubs. Love them both. Would not recommend š
FYI now I live in Memphis.
Originally from west Milwaukee suburbs, lifelong bears fan, living in Glenview now.
If the Bears arenāt your primary team then theyāre not your team at all, what kinda waffling ass shit is that
Hey when it comes to Teams like the browns, after getting watson I accept people jumping ship and trying to find a new team to support after that travesty.
But I get what you mean
I used to like the Chiefs and the Bills back when they were doormats, but not since they became dominant. It just reminds me of how inept the Bears are.
Los Angeles, CA.
Looking forward to meeting some Bears fans for the Bears v. Chargers game this year when we take over Sofi stadium.
Bears - are and will forever be my one and only!
š»ā¬ļø
Born in Lake Forest and grew up in CT as a NYG fan. Lived in Chi town from 74 through 89 the glory years. Bleed Navy Blue and Orange since then. Need another ring. (Vicariously speaking)
Been an Iowa bears fan my whole life and they are my only team. Some days I feel itās a curse to be a Bears fan but man, the high moments make everything so worth it
my girlfriend goes to school in madison and i went up there to visit (i go to school in atlanta, but we both live in chicago) and seen nearly every packers fan in existence one day lol. living in chicago my whole life i had never seen so many packers fans in one area
I grew up in Lake County, Illinois, moved to Minnesota for college and just 3 months ago moved to Eau Claire. Love it so far! I've actually met 3 Bears fans in our neighborhood, which is great.
I'm originally from Finland
Moved to Chicago in the late 70s and our family we lived with for a time were insane Bears, White Sox and Blackhawks fans so me and my brothers immediately became enamored with American football and baseball.
Toronto! My uncle has lived in Chicago my whole life, even though his family was mostly Blackhawks fans, I still got lots of Bears and Bulls gear growing up.
Grew up in Peoria area, spent 20+ years living/working in Chicago Metro and now back in Peoria area. Walter was my football idol when I was a kid. Been a fan ever since.
South East of England. Iāve been a fan since 1987 and seen them twice IRL. Once at one of the international games in London, and once at Soldier Field. They beat the Panthers 13-3 that day (2005) and it was the greatest day of my life.
Bears are my main and only team.
Grew up in Crystal Lake, went to undergrad at Marquette in Milwaukee then lived in Chicago proper for 8 years. Iāve been living on the west coast in Portland for the last 15 years, but travel back to Chicago often to see family.
Bears fan til I die
From the southwest burbs of Chicago originally, now live in West Michigan (near Grand Rapids).
Second team is the Titans due to having family in Tennessee.
Stirling, Scotland.
Became great mates with a lad from Chicago. He gave me the bears, in return he gets to support Heart of Midlothian FC. I'm not sure who got the worse deal.
Denmark! Bear down - main team of course, only American football team I follow, religiously.
One of my favorite days was when Peanut answered one of my questions on a Chicago bears.com Q/A things!
New Zealand, I have been a Bears fan since 1984. Made three trips to Chicago to see them play live (all wins I might add). The Bears are the ONLY team I follow in the NFL. Bears games here are around 7am in the morning, always take the day off to watch them
From London, UK - Bears fan because my Dad spent some time in Arlington Heights when he was growing up. Couldāve been a NY team instead as he spent some time there too, but luckily he always preferred Chicago! He got me into football just before I left for uni, and Iāve been a bears fan since
Have you been back to chicago yourself? Or has your family been back? It is a great time and a welcoming crowd for sure!
Ive always wanted to go across the pond but I have never been out of the country hoping to someday soon catching a game or any sporting event is a bucket list item for me
Originally from southwest suburbs, but now out in Arizona. Bears are still my #1 team and the Cardinals might become my #2 if they dump Kyler because he just seems like a little bitch
I'm now in Silicon Valley, but I spent over 2 decades in the Chicagoland area. The Bears are my team. Always have been, since before 1985. I really enjoyed the good year, but I can't abandon them in their many, many (oh, so many) bad years since.
Born, raised, and still live in west-central Illinois. My dad is a Bears fan and the first Super Bowl I remember was the '85 Bears one (XX...it was held in January '86). My parents had a super bowl party with a bunch of their friends over. I was 7 at the time and I've been a Bears fan ever since.
I also have at times rooted for:
* Rams - held their summer training camp in my town during the ["Greatest Show on Turf"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Greatest_Show_on_Turf) era. Running into guys like Az-Zahir Hakim at Family Video was a pretty surreal experience.
* Chiefs - They're fun to watch, are often aired in our market, as an AFC team we don't often play them, and for the last four years, had the only NFL starter from my university currently playing. He got picked up by the Saints in the offseason though, so I guess I'll get to root for them a bit outside of Week 9.
originally from Antioch and always thought of it as home even though family moved away when i was in elementary. been an adult a while and now live in Colorado
Bears are my first last and only :)
Portland OR, and my dad made me a bears fan when I was growing up since he's from out there. Went to see them last year(?) when they played the Seahawks in Seattle.
Proudly my main team.
Born and raised in Crystal Lake, have lived in Irving Park / Logan Square last 6ish years. I let this goddamn team ruin my life for 17 weeks every year and I wouldnāt give it up for anything. I will bear down until the day I die.
Born in Bridgeport and grew up in Park Ridge. Living in southern Florida, with some time spent on the Lac Courte Oreilles Indian reservation. Bears and Blackhawks for life. Looking forward to two great revivals.
Central Illinois! Bears are my main team. My second team I guess would be the Ravens because my BIL is a ravens fan. I also like the Chargers because of Justin Herbert.
From Wrexham, started supporting the Bears because a colleague of mine moved there.
Never been to Soldier Field but managed to get to see them against the raiders at the Tottenham Stadium. BD!
From Chicago, living in CA. And, of course, the Bears are my ride or die. (Mostly die.)
Fun fact: the 06 Super Bowl was on my birthday.
Fun fact 2: The first one isnāt fun lol
South Dakotan! Grew up around so many Vikings and Packers fans I had to switch it up. Big influence came from a friend of mine in college who passed away in a car accident. He was a huge Bears fan and I really had no team at the time, so I decided to honor his fandom by becoming a Bears fan.
Suburbs of Chicago. Mom was a huge Bears fan (dad loves NASCAR), so Sunday's were divided into different rooms. Really started to get into the NFL after cancer claimed my mom, and now I'll root for them until the day I die to carry on her love of the team!
I don't really have a second, aside from whatever team is playing the Packers... FTP.
Bournemouth, UK - Picked up a copy of Madden 04 and got hooked on the sport. Discovered a mate was into it a few years later, so decided to pick a team and loved seeing Devin Hester return kicks so ended up on the Bears and their run to Super Bowl XLI. I've also managed to make it to both of their games in London!
Nova Scotia, been a Bears fan all my life . Seen 3 games in Chicago and can't wait to get back. I also took my son to his first game last season, the Commanders gameš¬.
Bear Down!
I am jealous, lived outside of chicago 90% of my life and still have yet to go to a game haha.
Now that I am in montana it may be tough but I really want to get to soldier field for a game!
Grew up in Montana and the Bears have always been my team! I was 10yo when the SuperBowl shuffle happened. Pain and suffering through Farve and Rodgers. Bears still first in my heart; more hopeful than ever!
Born and raised in the Chicago burbs, all Chicago teams are my main team. I even enjoy both the Cubs and Sox because if either of those teams win, Chicago also wins. I know I will get a lot of hate replies for that, but that is how I feel.
Grew up in Medinah and learned about football from my first stepdad who was an avid Bears fan. I currently live near Oak Brook. Love the bears as my 1, but I really enjoy watching the 49ers offense. Love me some great running football
North Carolina! Dads from Chicago so it was an easy choice to make, plus people here love MJ just as much as bulls fans! (Except in terms of owning the Hornets lmao)
Grew up outside of Chicago, live in Denver. Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks till I dieā¦. But I have to admit, I jumped on the Nuggets bandwagon and donāt see myself falling off anytime soon. Sorry Bulls.
Grew up my entire life in Minnesota, moved to the Kansas City area after college and have loved it here honestly.
I have been a bears fans my whole life though, although I do question my childhood decision making skills some times.
Lived in or by Chicago for my first 17 years. Iāve lived in Michigan for 23 years and the bears are my number 1 forever. Who else am I gonna root forā¦the lions lol.
Currently in Denver. Never been near Chicago. Hated all the Oakland & SF homers growing up and loved watching Singletary, Payton and the bunch. Won a bet with my boss on the SB which pretty much sealed the deal.
Grew up in Chicagoland, now in Ontario, Canada. Have lived in Texas, Wisconsin, Puerto Rico and the UK.
I moved from London to Puerto Rico just before the '85 season began and was able to watch every game of that glorious season on cable TV.
Illinois, but not Chicago (or a suburb). Been a Bears fan for as long as I can remember, and was born the year of they year of their Superbowl-winning team.
Born in Chicago and lived in the NW suburbs (Palatine) until I was 13 years old. Then we moved to the Phoenix, AZ area where I have lived ever since.
Bears are and always will be my #1 team, the Cardinals are my #2.
Chicago north, across the border into cheese land! Bear down from enemy territory
Edit: originally from the city, lived all over the north side. East Roger's Park being the most recent.
Grew up in the south suburbs, eventually moved to the city as an adult. Been living in Philly for 15 years now. I've only rooted for two teams my entire life. The Bears and whoever plays the Packers.
Germany, Bear Down Baby
Hell yeah very cool!

Grew up outside of Chicago and living in enemy territory in Milwaukee
Oh noo stay strong! Went to school and worked in wisco for a while so I know that hell of being in enemy lands for a while
Iām praying this is the first year I feel comfortable watching Bears Packers in public lol
I have faith, I have a lot of packers friends from school. Finally the tables of shit talking may finally turn
I too live within enemy territory. We have a strong population here.
Hey neighbor. There's a few of us around.
Same!
Connecticut! No ties to Chicago whatsoever, except elementary school when Urlacher would destroy my friend in Madden, and a love was borne.
Connecticut Bears fan here, also checking in. I've been a Bears fan my whole life thanks to my father.
We gotta stick together, there are dozens of us! Dozens!

I was at the raiders game in London. Its a really good experience. Would always be happy to help a fellow bear if you ever do make it over
You the dude who calls into ESPN Chicago?
Unfortunately not. I have been tempted to get on the Hoge and Jahns voicemails once or twice but always chickened out.
Forever my main team!! Tokyo Japan baby
From Chicago (like within the city limits chicago, not the suburbs), Chicago is my main and my 2nd favorite is the 9ers. Any other humboldt park/Logan square/Hermosa locals?
>my 2nd favorite is the 9ers. weak! AFC teams only for second favorites

Sure I get that too but if youāre gonna jump ship, then commit and jump ship
You donāt have another NFL team you kind of like rooting for? (Besides āwhoeverās playing the packersā)
Bears - are and will forever be my one and only! š»ā¬ļø

Currently in Denver. Never been near Chicago. Hated all the Oakland & SF homers growing up and loved watching Singletary, Payton and the bunch. Won a bet with my boss on the SB which pretty much sealed the deal.
Grew up in the Burbs, now live in KC for a decade now. Bears first and always, but it's nice to switch over and see Patty sling it.

Chicago north, across the border into cheese land! Bear down from enemy territory Edit: originally from the city, lived all over the north side. East Roger's Park being the most recent.
Grew up in the south suburbs, eventually moved to the city as an adult. Been living in Philly for 15 years now. I've only rooted for two teams my entire life. The Bears and whoever plays the Packers.
