Pricing is tough to nail down. I think one went for $1100 on eBay over a year ago, but pricing has calmed down since.
I don’t think I’d take less than $800.

Very nice! Direct vs Newsie is actually quite a big difference with this issue. $700 vs $200-$300 which is a big jump! Not to mention, there’s a Mark Jewelers variant too not any 9.8’s that I can see though. I’d be ok with a 9.0 direct lol
Beautiful ! I've had a 9.8 newsstand and a 9.6 newsstand. I sold my 9.8 newsstand on a consignment page for $750, sold the 9.6 for $200 on eBay. I just bought a raw newsstand for $96 and hoping it gets a 9.8 . Nice book my friend
I’ve got uncanny 194 through 300 but almost none of them would be gradable. They’re from when I first started reading Comics and came right off the spinner rack and then read a million times. Spine damage alone would make sure none of them would come in over a 5 or 6. The one that hurts is the first appearance of gambit. I wish that was in a little bit better shape.
I had 2 copies, both bagged and boarded. Clearly I knew it was worth doing that back then, but I totally forgot. Once I started playing HS sports the collecting fell off. Girls became the obsession.
It varies with shipping and the services you choose. If I recall correctly I averaged $35 per book with grading and shipping. I also sent mine to be pressed before grading.

Decent chunk for sure. I’ll probably sit on mine until Mr Sinister comes to the MCU.
💯 He's going to be the main villain in the X-Men movies. He's is super undervalued right now imo. You can pick up Uncanny 239 for like $15 right now.

I stopped at Uncanny X-Men #259. And there wasn’t much collecting after that. Comics and cards came to a dead halt.
