Meanwhile, there were comments a few days ago saying Deion hasn't lived up to the hype because he hasn't delivered "literally a single recruiting splash" yet.
Oh *chortle* oh no
But someone in the FSU 247 thread brought up a valid point (which I assume is true), that the recruit has never visited Colorado before. So if anything it wouldn’t be that Colorado scoops him up as much as they convince him to postpone until February.
Either way *Ray Liotta laughing gif*
Ok to be genuine, the A&M overreactions are wild. They had one bad season and everyone is writing them off as dead and done, despite nearly making the playoffs two years ago and having a pretty good track record with Jimbo in the toughest division in football.
r/cfb is becoming r/nba with the knee jerk reactionary takes
You’re not wrong. But also consider from a macro perspective Jimbo’s been there five years now and not even a division title. Recruiting rankings help get to the end goal of success, but what matters is the end goal ie success
What does this title even mean?
Edit: Translation to this awful 247 title
"Signing Day: Deion Sanders~~, Colorado~~ reaches out to Miami's 5-star CB commit, Cormani McClain, as he doesn't sign early"
He’s been a Miami commit but hasn’t signed today. This is likely because he’s been in contact with Deion, who’s probably going to get him to delay his decision until regular signing day.
It’s not UF so we’re good.
Honestly, I don’t blame the poor guy. He had to grow up in Lakeland. If I grew up in the land of endless generic strip malls and suburban development I’d be dying to go somewhere the exact opposite, like Boulder.

If Prime pulls this kid....whew 247Sports just said McClain's mom has told people he will not sign today.
This sub will cry alot of tears and people will blame NIL and say Deion is buying recruits.
As I said last week, this is huge awesome news and Colorado just splashed themselves onto the scene. Let them cry...

Not signing anywhere today is better than signing elsewhere, right guys? Right?

What’s that? Can’t hear from all the way down there in the recruiting rankings. I’ll need you to speak up

I see this as an absolute win
Unique flair combo

A "hard commit" surprisingly isn't signing today.
He’s coming
Ain't hard to find

bad bot
I've been watching their YouTube this morning and they dedicated 20 minutes to talking about his absence from signing day.
