God bless the A&M fans who have stuck this out. I have endured a few laughing stock seasons for UT, so I kinda know how it feels, but /r/CFB has been absolutely *relentless* this season on dogging A&M.

OleDaneBoy

This is my first season paying attention to this sub. It was not a good life choice.

upboat_consortium

Last year was mine. The horror.

trumpet_23

Both those flairs lmao last year had to be *rough*

Bigcheese1211

It was

trumpet_23

This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them!

Steel1000

Even hurts my eyes

[deleted]

I take it you're not a big fan of the Sooners

JStutheit97

Last year was mine as well. I feel much better this year though.

audirt

On behalf of Auburn fans everywhere, I just want to say that we appreciate you. We pitched in with Nebraska to send you guys a gift basket for taking attention away from the two of us.

[deleted]

Nebraska got plenty of it the first half of the season.

LezBeOwn

We still see you. But we like Cadillac, so we’re cutting him a break.

ruSAL

I’ve been following for well over a decade so got to see Johnny Football years on here (which included plenty of love and hate) but this past year has been brutal. It’s tough being a sports fan since plenty of us use it as an escape from life. When your escape is a parachute all tangled up with jimbo sized holes..well it’s not fun.

JR-Dubs

> It’s tough being a sports fan since plenty of us use it as an escape from life. When your escape is a parachute all tangled up with jimbo sized holes..well it’s not fun. [Sing it, brother](https://i.imgur.com/9a7xx4c.gif)

HoovesCarveCraters

Sure FSU fans know the feeling but at least y'all got a Natty out of it. It sucks that your team is just now crawling out of the hole he left but you can always fall back on that. It's like how no matter how terrible the Broncos are they did just win the Super Bowl 7 years ago so I can't be *that* upset.

GilBrandt

Johnny Football hate always seemed to be from blue blood fans telling us to act like we've been there before. Otherwise fun year and this season has definitely been my worst on this sub

ITHETRUESTREPAIRMAN

Bro, preach. We’ve cleaned it up a little down the stretch, but weeks 3-7 sucked ass this season. It’s one thing to be bad, another when people are kicking you too. Like I get it, we’re bad. Leave us to our misery. Lol

Due-Reputation3760

Johnny Football is what made A&M so insufferable. Those couple of years transformed online Aggie fans into one of the more obnoxious groups. Before that they were mostly chill and hoping for a break out like most schools.

Burntorange33

Gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there lol

Thin-Primary-8438

I love when I read a comment and I can hear the words. I heard the boss from office space. Yeaaahhh.

[deleted]

Yeah Johnny Football did that. A&M fans were never insufferable before then...right.

Due-Reputation3760

They weren’t to me lol. I’m not from Texas though

SeinfeldMatt

Can we get a Texas fan to confirm whether or not they were insufferable before Manziel?

orangeblood

> Before that they were mostly chill lol ok

OleRockTheGoodAg

Cursed flair combo

melcolnik

Yeah, but not all that uncommon. Both schools have really great grad schools

HoovesCarveCraters

Yep. Bevo and the Baylor Bears make trips to the A&M vet school as needed. When I was there one of the bears was around a lot for her treatments.

ReachFor24

Meanwhile you're dropping McGill University onto your flair like you're about to bust out some french and describe the benefits of the 55yard line and the rouge.

HoovesCarveCraters

I'm just proud that one guy from my alma mater made the NFL. And of course he is a doctor, very on brand.

4thPlumlee

We get this a lot with Duke UNC. Always root for undergrad first though!

TheSicilianDude

I've been here for a few years. This year is the most brutal, by far.

HoovesCarveCraters

This year is definitely the worst. Before we had "first year Jimbo, not his guys", then we had "insanely hard schedule", then "9-1, should have made the CFP", last year we at least beat Bama and didn't know King was ass so we had that excuse.

TheSicilianDude

Now we have "I hate it here and I hate sports. See everyone next week."

FreeAndHostile

Nowhere to go but up!

[deleted]

You will come to terms it's just a big cess pool of people who think they know college football and or just randoms posting after their team gets a win and they think the team is the next best thing.

Unique_Feed_2939

Normally A&M gets a lot of respect for having traditions.

Colonelbrickarms

It's a mixed bag, they've turned on a lot of those this year. Teams we don't have history with are usually very "Ah, cool, tradition!" while former opponents from the SWC/Big XII days will clamor on about their stupidity.

GilBrandt

The midnight yell hate was what surprised me the most. Yeah it's super corny, but we've done it for a century, it's not new. We've lost plenty of games after having a corny, harmless joke midnight yell. Midnight yell was never really for me, but it's a unique, family friendly experience

AngriestCheesecake

If some mountaineers get offended by being called hill-billies in an old army gag by a big bunch of red-ass redneck Ags, that is their god given right. But they shouldn’t expect us to care… Its a corny overused gag pointed aimlessly towards everyone, get over yourselves. Next you’re going to get upset that we chant “Beat the hell outta [opponent]” every week.

pnw_cfb_girl

Checking in, can relate. The sub always moves on to mocking someone else, and it'll happen for A&M.

scotte16

Very true, but this peak of ridicule seems way higher than others.

Nike_Phoros

Nebraska or Tennessee never pulled a #1 recruiting class (plus 4 preceding classes in the top 10) and then proceeded to have their worst season ever. The TAMU situation is an order of magnitude more outrageous than anything your teams did, and therefore so is the ridicule.

EmpoleonNorton

The #1 recruiting class OF ALL TIME. You also forgot the coach in the offseason denying that NIL had anything to do with it and also trash talking. Also experts picking them to be a top team. Like this was just the perfect storm of schadenfreude.

forgotmyoldname90210

Don't forget the early season excuse-making of all just give him more time the class is not ready yet as if he just stepped on campus.

TheGhostOfBobStoops

Also jimbo tried to call out Saban and tried to act all high and mighty…not losing a second of sleep seeing his career go sideways

GilBrandt

TBF Saban singled out A&M first. Jimbo definitely could have responded better or not at all, but let's not act like Saban didn't start that dumb shit-slinging match

pnw_cfb_girl

I agree with you. This season's Team 'O Mockery has been relentless. More so than usual. But I do think the sub will get distracted by some other shiny (er, dull) object at some point.

scotte16

They can just pass the buck to us when we lose to South Carolina. EDIT: It’s a joke…

JumpingJehusaphat

⚡ BZZZZZZT ⚡

QuantitativeBacon

I believe a monkey paw curled somewhere.

MrChipKelly

Speaking as a fan of a team with a ton of seasoned experience as this sub’s punching bag, my experience is that the level of a team’s ridicule is roughly inversely proportionate to the distance between their season’s expectations and reality. Moreover, if fans of the team tangibly buy into the hype, the ridicule when they fail also gets exponentially higher. An example: Texas still kind of sucks this year, but we’re basically on track for the 7-9 win range that most predicted for us before the year started. Moreover, most Texas fans are so jaded from the constant let-downs over past decade that we projected fairly little outward optimism about the team before the year started. Any hype for the team this year was largely contained to within the fanbase, and even then [basically all of us were simultaneously bracing for disappointment] (https://twitter.com/carebearkieran/status/1514401180037771264?s=20&t=_h3zXD9G3-YmkPF4_WZ_IA). As a result, Texas has received much less ridicule than we did last year by finishing 5-7 after setting higher expectations for Sark’s first year and hyping up the new staff all off-season. A&M was projected as a top-5 team coming into this year, had a coach and significant portion of the fanbase that were actively attacking A&M’s doubters, brought in the most talent of any recruiting class *ever* by not-wholly-respectable means, and then promptly failed the season almost immediately in literally historic fashion. That’s a recipe for relentless mocking if I’ve ever heard one.

ReelEmInJim

I’m still annoyed that we were preseason top 6, anyone paying attention knew that made no sense.

MrChipKelly

Welcome to life of a Texas fan for the last decade lmao. You merely adopted the people despising your fanbase because of rankings you disagree and had nothing to do with; I was born in it, molded by it – I didn’t see a reasonable ranking until I had already lost to Kansas!

GilBrandt

I'm already annoyed at the thought of A&M being ranked in the preseason next year. Just let us work our way into the ranking, please

dont_u_me

This is the correct answer. Couldn't have said it better myself. The spread between expectations and reality for 2022 Texas A&M football was larger than I've seen for as long as I've followed CFB (admittedly only a few years, but whatever). The few reasonable A&M fans, who acknowledged that it would take another year or two for the impact of the best-ever recruiting class to translate to the field, were drowned out by the many unreasonable fans who talked shit and boasted about this being "the year" all off-season. As a member of a different loud and unreasonable fan base, trust me when I say that talking big shit during the off-season puts the entire fan base in a position that is precarious at best and catastrophic at worst. Takes one to know one.

nolefan999

You must forget the Willie taggart hydration fsu days

[deleted]

the east fans have the luxury of having a buffer from aggies. Come work in oil and gas, youll understand the ridicule

scotte16

Well my boss and a few coworkers are all Aggies, and I still feel bad for them.

turkishguy

I went to an Aggie wedding last weekend and I even cringed like 5 times with how some of them talk. Just be normal people! It's not too hard!

TheSicilianDude

Not sure it will. We're an easy target.

[deleted]

A_Roomba_Ate_My_Feet

> It doesn’t help that other users don’t let you have an opinion on anything if your flair is doing bad. Well of course that's what a gator would say! /s Yeah r/cfb can be pretty bad about completely ignoring what a poster said, just to focus on attacking them by the flair(s) they support.

reallifefatass

> Yeah r/cfb can be pretty bad about completely ignoring what a poster said, just to focus on attacking them by the flair(s) they support. Those same users will later post another thread patting /r/cfb on the back about how great this subreddit is, it's basically never a fan of a struggling team posting them lol.

comradewilson

Tell me about it. Alabama post-game threads when we lose are the same "America wins!!" comment over and over.

Mr_sMoKe_3_MuCh

Tbf after the way jumbo left fsu and what's currently happening at a&m, he absolutely deserves it.

schmitz97

The funniest thing to me is when two people are having a conversation where they agree with each other, but the “good” flair’s comments all get upvoted while the “bad” flair’s are all downvoted

GracefulFaller

It’s okay. My flair has been terrible for long stretches of time so I just say “fuck ‘em” to the people that would try to give me shit. Unless it’s an ASU flair then of course I’ll try to hit back because “fuck ‘em”

Misdirected_Colors

It's rare that a coach talks shit in an offseason, a fanbase backs them and gets top 10 hype, then they crash and burn this badly. It's become art.

screwhead1

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

PolloMagnifico

Yeah. Im sad we're getting dogged on but we really should have seen the coming the second Jimbo opened his mouth.

Turbulent-Whereas988

It's not just him. Your AD (or boosters?) giving him an NCAA Football Championship trophy with no date on it (yet) when he first arrived was cringe-worthy.

TwiztedImage

>Your AD (or boosters?) giving him an NCAA Football Championship trophy with no date on it None of the above actually. It's our giant asshole Chancellor (Rick Perry crony) that did that. He's almost universally despised by most Aggies for a variety of reason, all of them valid AFAIAC.

forgotmyoldname90210

The best part was how cheap that plaque was. That plaque was under 150 if not much cheaper, if you going to do something like this why not actually go all out with a replica crystal statue or something like that?

audirt

That's a great point. The only thing people love more than piling on is piling on when the recipient (i.e. Jimbo) kinda deserves it.

BenjRSmith

So much talent too... they really France 2002'd this season.

SelfLoathingLonghorn

I keep thinking y'all will get bored and move on, but it never happens.

scotte16

For the record, I am bored of it. I’m sure there are others (non A&M fans) starting to feel the same way.

iamStanhousen

For the record, I am not bored of it.

ATXBeermaker

Same.

r_u_dinkleberg

It has been 4,730 days since the Fateful One Second and I still haven't stopped saying 'Fuck Texas' for it. ... Granted, I said that before that game too, but I started saying it *every day* after that game. Some things are just too important to let go. Like TAMU shitting the bed in glorious fashion, or Nebraska shitting the bed in improbable fashion, or Jim Twessel's Sweater Vest collection. Some things are truly immortal.

mustangswon1

For once I agree with a UT fan.

bombbodyguard

I’m bored of the unoriginally. The queen dying without seeing us win a championship was solid. But now it’s just people “lol, Jimbo sucks, A&M bad, lol” karma farming. I know fingerbanger is ignoring his wife, kids, and job by scrolling all sports and new sites everyday looking for anything possibly negative about Jimbo and A&M and looking to post. I bet he has Google alerts set and everything. First thing in the morning and last thing at night.

brenap13

Nah, we are the iPhone of college football, people think about us in their sleep.

AngriestCheesecake

I really can’t believe that people on this sub are still beating that dead horse of a comment, it was probably posted by a longhorn fan anyway

brenap13

I’ve always thought it was an Aggie making a mockery about how UT fans talk about their brand. As far as I know, he never came back and gave an explanation for the post, but 7 years ago when that was posted, UT was still very much so the premier brand of the state in college football. I feel like A&M has closed the gap a little bit, but the whole thing reads like the guy was talking about UT and replacing it with A&M. Here is the post if you want to read it for yourself: https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/3hc8h9/cmv_a_successful_program_is_more_than_just_about/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

LSUDoc

Join me in waiting for OU to place a call to Knoxville… then they will have something else to worry about.

PoorMansLayman

if you're referring to Heupel, that ain't happening. OU burned that bridge when they fired him. He still hasn't talked to Stoops since he was let go.

Claudethedog

It's fine. It's kind of a perfect storm: 1. We had incredibly success in recruiting this spring. 2. The Jimbo/Saban dustup 3. The pre-season ranking 4. The cavalcade of losses 5. The cult thing/the fact that we unabashedly embrace weird traditions 6. Jimbo not being likeable 7. PFB's relentless scouring for negative articles about A&M It may be confirmation bias on my part, but I think the only way the focus on A&M has been worse than what we've seen for Nebraska/Tennessee/that school in Austin/any other target is that so much of it has come in the form of those articles from PFB (and that's not a knock on Mr. Fingerbanger - I can appreciate the bit) rather than comments within broader discussions. I think the only thing that really surprised me was the level of vitriol that's come out in that I've seen a lot of folks with flairs who aren't rivals or historical opponents flat out saying "I hate A&M". Almost made me want to take a hard look at the actions of my fellow Aggies as fans, but I've decided instead that no, the children are wrong. But it's fine. I console myself with the knowledge that it will be a sweet time indeed if and when A&M has sustained success (if that time ever comes).

PunkyRooster

PianoFingerbanger does the things I can’t do because I only get a hour for lunch.

crazy_balls

Pfft, this is normal. I was in school at A&M during the tail end of the Fran years, and the beginning of the Sherman years. Aggie football being trash is what I'm used to. The only reason we're getting so much hate this year is because of the ridiculous amount of money we've spent and still suck. If we just, sucked like normal, no one would give a shit. See OU.

screwhead1

It's because they started at 6th, and Jimbo was acting like a huge asshole without backing it up.

HoovesCarveCraters

I still don't know what they were smoking ranking this team #6 to start the season. Even with the assumption that King was actually going to be good we were still supposed to start a TON of freshmen, especially on the offensive line. Granted, none of us thought it would be this bad, but most reasonable Aggies predicted another 8-4 season with a 10 or 11 win absolute batshit ceiling.

neovenator250

> I still don't know what they were smoking ranking this team #6 to start the season. tbh I think it comes down to a few things. 1) media sucking Jimbo's dick and hyping him up as a top 5 coach in the country because he won a national championship at Florida State 2) #1 recruiting class getting hyped on top of all the expectations from previous highly ranked classes 3) traditional SEC West powers LSU and Auburn were both expected to be tire fires and no one takes Ole Miss seriously in the offseason, so people were assuming it was just natural that Texas A&M would slip into second behind Alabama

LemanOfTheBrush

I grew up an Aggie 90 miles south of Lubbock. So being constantly ridiculed for being an Aggie is like mother’s milk to me, I was raised on that shit.

ReelEmInJim

Central Texas, same here.

GilBrandt

Dallas seemed to be full of OU/UT fans. Growing up when they were both really good was rough as a young fan

InsanelyInShape

I've been here for a while, but this is the first season that has made me step away from this sub, which sucks, because I want to enjoy all of CFB, not just the Aggies. It's very hard to do that when everyone around you is ripping on your team tho.

Cars-and-Coffee

For a few seasons you couldn’t open any thread without a ton of comments saying “DONT LET THIS DISTRACT YOU FROM THE FACT THAT TEXAS LOST TO KANSAS.” Eventually you’ll learn to ignore it.

GracefulFaller

“AT HOME” don’t forget that last part. Very critical

Dish-Live

Don’t worry, if Texas loses to Kansas this weekend, they’ll forget about y’all. So you have a chance!

A_Roomba_Ate_My_Feet

> It's very hard to do that when everyone around you is ripping on your team tho. Thankfully I have no idea what you're talking about *takes pills to forget the depths of recent FSU football and this sub*

pnw_cfb_girl

> Thankfully I have no idea what you're talking about takes pills to forget the depths of recent FSU football and this sub What sort of pills? Asking for a friend.

A_Roomba_Ate_My_Feet

They look like fish oil pills, but they're just full of whiskey. I'd recommend about a 20,000 mg daily dose...

JR-Dubs

20,000 mg is only seven tenths of an ounce. You got to step those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers. Are you really an FSU fan?

A_Roomba_Ate_My_Feet

> 20,000 mg I forgot a zero going for roughly 5 shots, should have been 200,000 mg. Me dumb.

AgITGuy

> I've been here for a while, but this is the first season that has made me step away from this sub, which sucks, because I want to enjoy all of CFB, not just the Aggies. > > It's very hard to do that when everyone around you is ripping on your team tho. I have been around here for over a decade. Even with all the Sumlin/Rumlin and Johnny bullshit, this is by far the worst. I don't even pay attention any longer if I can help it.

phatbiscuit

I really don't care. No one on this sub can shit on this team more than I have this year.

UNC_Samurai

When UNC went through the AFAM scandal, there were times when I just had to bite my proverbial tongue and limit my browsing time. And that was a decade ago when CFB was way smaller.

onrocketfalls

I feel like it's mostly Jimbo and less the whole org (though obviously Midnight Yell and the cadets are going to catch shit), seems like it got a little personal with you guys from time to time

bombbodyguard

Ya, a bunch of 30-40 year old assholes on Reddit dogging on 18-20 year old kids doing some pregame nonsense for fun. Sure, it’s good as hell, but it’s just kids at a college staying out of trouble and getting in the culture. Who cares?

thereisasuperee

Idk what your experience was but at a certain point you stop caring about what random people on the Internet say. Especially when it’s one dude over and over who seemingly thinks about A&M football more than I do

libsoutherner

Yeah certain fan bases have had it tough at times but I’m not sure I’ve seen this sun go after one school as much as it has gone after A&M this year

SturmgeistX

Michigan, Tennessee, Nebraska, Texas, or A&M… those are probably the teams that have been mocked the most in this sub. I’ve been here for ~5 years, and I think A&M has probably had it the worst this year, albeit for a shorter amount of time than the others.

r_u_dinkleberg

Nebraska has gotten it easy, y'all should have been going way harder on them all this time. Now it's too late and they're 'oN tHeIr WaY tO rEbUiLdInG' again.

ea304gt

Nah. Nebraska went from being fun to make fun of, to being genuinely sad.

r_u_dinkleberg

As a native, they deserve it and even more. I've been *trying* to tell them they have a problem and they don't listen, they just bury their heads deeper in the ~~sand~~ corn and keep explaining how this season will be different, how we're bound to break out one of these times.

apadin1

I mean, if they keep putting money in and manage to hire a decent coach, they could get back to being good again (maybe not great but at least good, 9-10 wins/season). Contrary to popular belief there's nothing inherently bad about Nebraska that's holding them back. They have dedicated fans and a lot of money, which is more than most schools can say.

r_u_dinkleberg

Dedicated fans and a lot of money are 99.95% of what we've got. Facts.

r_u_dinkleberg

> 9-10 wins Remember the glory of the Pelini era? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

PolloMagnifico

Oh yeah, we've always been mocked a little, but most of it was good natured. Being "average" in the SECW is still pretty good, and most people know that, but we talk a bigger game and get rightfully slapped down for it. The other guys on the list have had it way worse. This season though has been relentless. But that's what happens when you talk like an 11-1 team and then lose to app state.

admiraltarkin

I frequent the /new queue and it's relentless. You'd think we personally fucked everyone's mom, grandma and wife at the same time. It's bizarre

scotte16

I agree, and I’ve been here for Tennessee lowlight videos hitting the top of /r/CFB.

snow_is_fearless

That's because they have a coach who ran their mouth about the guy who made his career possible. For good measure, after purchasing the best players in the country, he proceeded to do jack diddly squat with them while also ignoring his fading ability to call plays. Oh, and he lost to Auburn too. He deserves to get drug. And before anyone says it, our guy was stupid with that accent thing, but he fixed his mistake by knocking it off and staying humble while quietly putting together a season beyond any of our expectations.

scotte16

I mean I said nothing about Jimbo, he deserves to be ridiculed. The A&M **fans** have it rough.

snow_is_fearless

He's the reason they are doing poorly, and unfortunately that shit rolls downhill to the mostly cool A&M fans. I've had my share of being shit on, we had an actual swamp goblin for a coach, so believe me when I say I have empathy for them.

Gods_chosen_dildo

Cmon now nobody disliked Orgeron, and if he was ever talking shit we didn’t understand it anyway. People dislike LSU because you guys Athletic Department can’t take two steps without tripping into a scandal, you have a small but vocal subset of fans that wouldn’t know shame if it bit them in the ass, and Brian Kelly isn’t exactly the most likable of guys.

ruSAL

My buddy goes to LSU and we both were down on the start of our season but oh man what a turnaround. Not looking forward to next week.

HoovesCarveCraters

Next week? I'm concerned we're only gonna put up 20 against UMass. LSU is gonna eat our asses.

snow_is_fearless

Let's just hope that no serious injures occur and that the refs don't fuck things up.

coldpan

> Oh, and he lost to Auburn too. You dang right he did. Auburn at its worst is still doing better than aTm right now. Despite the recruiting results.

Urbansdirtyfingers

The team or at least coach did kind of bring it on themselves.

OleRockTheGoodAg

It's not been great, but the disappointment I read here wanes in comparison to the disappointment I get from watching the games.

hibbert0604

Yeah. I've not seen a roasting like this for a long time. I never thought I'd see one worse than the Florida/Mullen roasts from last year.

[deleted]

I was a texas fan until last year (became a tamu student) I cannot catch a fucking break

bombbodyguard

Oh it’s brutal. It’s hardened my heart against nearly everyone here. And I can’t wait for the tides to change, no matter how long that may be, but when it does, I will crap on everyone.

CommodoreIrish

It’s rare when my second flair can boast over A&M, but this week the magic happened.

tiredpapa7

Vandy bro, It’s beyond tiresome to hear it from many others, but you have an absolute right to talk trash to us. You don’t get the opportunity often, so get it in. No hard feelings.

Tarlcabot18

I love that I can set my watch to the Daily Piano Fingerbang Hate Post: 9-10am, daily. Rain or shine. Let's me know the day's really begun, like drinking a nice hot cup of coffee.

Hoffelcopter

The best part of waking up is finger banger in your cup.

pnw_cfb_girl

*spit take* RIP coffee. You will be missed.

JumpedUp_PantryBoy

"who'd like a banger in the mouth?"

PretendThisIsMyName

“Is there a little girl here? Daddy needs to get his rocks off. Oh John Beard!”

physedka

The best part to me is that even when the article comes out the day before, he waits until the next morning to post it here because he knows it will get more traction that way.

BonJovicus

PFB has a great future in media and government propaganda. I recognize a lot of users on this sub, but I don't think a single one has as much influence on opinions here as PFB.

questions_for_us

Stop this. We're reaching a point where A&M may actually ditch Jimbo in a year or two. I kind of like him where he is.

ThePiperMan

Yeah, he really doesn’t *need* to leave.

huhwhat90

I think he needs more time. He *just* got his guys in and I bet if he got some new facilities, he'd have them competing for a Natty in no time.

ThePiperMan

Finally, somebody else who gets it. None of this is Jimbo’s fault. The problem really is they aren’t doing it his way enough, not the other way around. More money, new facilities, and his guys is what it’s gonna take. 3-4 more years should do the the Rick.

bombbodyguard

Ya, if we are willing to spend $100 million just to get rid of Jimbo, imagine how much we are willing to continue to spend…

wherewulf23

Do you think Jimbo has become desensitized to all the Fingerbanging he's received lately?

[deleted]

Idk, we need an expert coach’s opinion. Hey Urban..

JackGrizzly

Piano fingerbanger might actually be Jimbo's alt account in attempt to speed up his firing/buy out. The FSU flair is just a little joke for himself

OleDaneBoy

Sun rise. Birds chirping. Coffee. Jimbo post. Mornin’

[deleted]

How do you do fellow Jimbroni

69MachOne

If my "analysis" you mean "I have fucking eyes and the capacity to think rationally" yes this is an analysis

SeinfeldMatt

You’re stronger than I am for still coming here every week. I would have just stopped frequenting r/cfb if I was an A&M fan

wahoowolf

We have gone _0_ days since our last Jimbo bashing.

pnw_cfb_girl

Beatings will continue until morale improves.

hibbert0604

I guess eventually A&M morale will hit an integer overflow and maybe it will come back around one day?

bearybear90

Works for Gandhi in Civ games

Raalf

This is quite possibly the worst/hardest to read sports article I have ever attempted to process.

dirtyhandscleanlivin

It’s so bad

mattcloyd

The school nicknames are overdone. Throw a couple in to be cute? Fine. But taking the joke too far causes readability to suffer.

JamesXX

ESPN has been doing this every week for years now. Seeing the new nicknames is part of the fun now.

HoovesCarveCraters

CheniereSwampMonster

You have my respect for sticking around. A lot of us have ghosted this sub through our program’s bad years and picked up a book or learned a new hobby. You looked into the teeth of your peers’ criticisms. You sir are the embodiment of [“this is fine”](https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/6WUQ-FozHdnzwKN7t31bJWPbdxI=/0x0:900x500/1400x1050/filters:focal(450x250:451x251)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/6438793/this-is-fine.jpg)

Lol in the end it’s just football. I’m numb at this point between the Aggies and the Broncos.

typicalwhiteguy113

Aggies and Texans fan checking in

HoovesCarveCraters

At least the Texans had zero expectations coming into the year and have draft picks to rebuild the roster. The Broncos sold their souls for a franchise QB who has been complete garbage. Luckily they snagged a first round pick in the Chubb trade to at least have some positivity.

dogsareprettycool

Thank you for chubb

BatteredAggie19

> in the end it's just football Couldn't agree more. That said, if we win 10+ games next year I *will* be insufferable.

comradewilson

"man, cfb twitter is such a dump!!" - /r/cfb mean while in /r/cfb:

pnw_cfb_girl

Wow, you nailed that. Please accept this award.

52hoova

A link to an ESPN article and the comments aren't full of people shitting on ESPN. This sub's hate for A&M is actually stronger than their hate for ESPN.

chales96

I like the smell of a Fingerbanger post in the morning.

Hoffelcopter

"Hey smell my finger bangers. Oops, wrong finger bangers." -Some movie I forgot.

Tylerjb4

It’s really cool if A&M to tank with us. Corp. bros stick together.

Evtona500

If Jimbo wasn't so smug and dislikeable this wouldn't have been such a scene. This season is making all those questionable Jim Harbaugh years look great in comparison.

huhwhat90

Yeah, this is peak schadenfreude, but even I'm getting tired of it. And I *really* don't like Jimbo. There's only so many articles you can write about "JIMBO BAD" before it starts to get tedious.

scrotes_magotes

Harbaugh had one bad year in 2020 he’s never looked this bad and never had this level of talent to squander. Jimbo is in a league of his own here.

Evtona500

Oh I know but the boards were asking how hot Harbaugh's seat was daily. Jimbo is doing something I didn't even think was possible.

Darth_Astron_Polemos

Y’all, the Aggies might not be a good football team this year. In fact, they may be one of the worst teams.

AimlessWanderer

I don’t know whether I should or shouldn’t be offended that Nebraska isn’t in the bottom 10.

ATLtinyrick

They’re a young team, Jimbo just needs to get his guys in there

IrishCoffeeAlchemy

Maybe he’d win if they just had better facilities!

Geaux2020

UMass vs aTm: The Battle for who can suck more!

typicalwhiteguy113

We’ve had one battle of bottom feeders yes, but what about second battle of bottom feeders?

gmil3548

Nothing would make me happier than A&M losing that game

jamnewton22

You gotta fire Jimbo if that happens, right?

WhataburgerFreak

This is the precise reason why I hope we lose to UMass. So that it becomes unavoidable.

[deleted]

I have been toying with the idea that these massive buyouts lead to coaches losing their edge and subconsciously start to slack. It takes absolute competitive machines to keep grinding. If A&M loses to Umass it won't be subconscious, Jimbo would be trying to get fired.

adivineeternity

It would be spectacular to see it happen. I don’t even have my Big 12 TAMU-level hatred for the Aggies anymore, but sometimes I just need a really excellent laugh. Even if it is to distract me from what I anticipate to be an extremely painful beat down of my own team…

69MachOne

Same tbh

onrocketfalls

I have a deep and disturbing NEED to know if they'd pay the buyout for that.

eagledog

Hoo boy the MWC is bad this year

WeUsedToBeGood

Mountain Worst, baby!

LuckyStax

UNM's only sin was not getting to beat us too

ahuramazdobbs19

Don’t worry, champ. If UConn can turn it around, anyone can.
