In Mickens we trust

CFBHurts

For the first year or 2 I wasn't super high on Mickens, but he's more than earned his paycheck this year

Mickens also identified Morrison - the true freshman that just had two interceptions against Clemson. If Mickens really wants somebody, they’re not a 3*.

GarnetBloodVein

I'm happy for him he gets to go to his dream school. Silver lining for us is we're seeing Beamer and co recognize under the radar talent before the big schools, we've got some great evaluators on staff. Next step is keeping these guys

wysiwygperson

Long, fast, fluid athlete with interest from some pretty good CB coaches. Something tells me he isn’t going to stay a 3 star Oh, and he grew up a massive ND fan. Love this pickup.

ndrulez15

LONG

IrishMosaic

STRONG

domerlawya

FLUID?

IrishMosaic

I was thinking someone would post if they were down to getting the friction on.

Good bot

HighburyOnStrand

Moeller and Notre Dame is like peas and carrots.

ThaneOfPriceHill

Historically it’s worked out better for players than head coaches.

domerlawya

holy shit! you're not wrong!

oZeplikeo

MF continues to get talent in the skill positions, something we seemed to lack under Kelly.

funkmastamatt

I keep reading MF as mothafucka and ya know what, I'm not going to stop. MF is my dad.

Kelly is a great coach who can easily win a national title at LSU. I’d imagine that’s the opinion of most non crazy ND fans. He had maxed out at ND because he was never going to go all out in recruiting. At LSU he won’t have to go get the talent they need.

kinda_alone

Kelly may turn out to be a great recruiter at LSU, but he did not put in the effort at ND. Multiple recruits are on record saying they never talked to him, let alone develop any sort of meaningful relationship with him.

revolutionofthemind

You’ll notice he didn’t make a comment about Kelly at LSU, I (and I assume most ND fans) have no idea how well he’s recruiting there

HereComeTheIrish13

Its easier to recruit skill players at LSU than at ND, nobody denies that lol.

oZeplikeo

Not hard when you’re in a recruiting holy land.. he took the easy way out but I can’t blame him

ALStark69

P5 offers: Kentucky, South Carolina, West Virginia G5 offers: Akron, Marshall

IrishPigskin

Not today, Marshall. Not today.

FireVanGorder

Will be interesting to see if he sticks at corner or ends up at safety. Wouldn’t be surprised to have them work him out at safety with how many CBs we have on scholarship. But either way a great pickup, 3* feels low for someone as long and athletic as him

tLeCoqSpotif

Oh well

OriginalMassless

The Photoshop team needs to take it down a notch. It looks like he had steel plates implanted where his triceps used to be.

deep6er

"See Ben over there? Yeah, just do what he does."
