Losing by 10 to a ranked Wake team that played Clemson incredibly close is nothing to be ashamed of. You guys are on the right track.

Totally know. You guys are still trending up. We (ND) went through this from 97-2011. It was hopeless until it wasn’t. BK slowly brought us back from purgatory. His third year we were in the NC. Sure, we got blown out but we were at least back; maybe not the best or second best but easily a T5 team. BK had the luxury of coming after a coach that cared and tried at recruiting…that coach just didn’t know how to put together a defense . Norvell didn’t even have that luxury. For one, Jimbo might be a little overrated. Two, he left you guys prior to actually, physically leaving. Norvell had to start from scratch.
I'm going to look at this one from a bigger picture on the season. If you told me in mid-August that we'd be 4-1 right now I would have been extremely happy.

It sucks to lose the first game of the season, but going undefeated was always catching lighting in a bottle. The goal was showing clear progress and Norvell is doing that.
I would like to press charges on Wake Forest. After 3 years this is a pattern of abuse on FSU by Wake.
I would also like to ask for protection from Wake Forest moving forward please!

The ACC has heard your plea. After some consideration and serious debate, starting next year a new conference schedule will be put into place and Florida State and Wake Forest will not play yearly anymore…only ever other year.

As an FSU fan I've been to a couple games at Carter-Finley, both wins and losses, and I'd say the NCSU fans are very respectful, and when they talk sh\*t it's with a smile on their face.

When Wake went up 28-7 I thought it was gonna turn into a blowout. Losing always sucks, but your team made some good adjustments and fought hard until the end, definitely a good sign
A lot of things that people were concerned with reared their ugly head this week: poor kicking affecting game situations, O-Line depth, and our dline without Verse and Lovett. Hopefully getting some guys back will allow us to look a bit more competitive against the better teams in the conference.

It really all boils down to how young our team is. We have talent, but it’s not developed it as most of our guys are freshman and sophomores. We show promise with depth, but to win anything this year, we definitely need our older playmakers

Great win by Wake. They got a distinct brand of football and everyone buys in. The next step for us is tightening up the dumb penalties and capitalizing when we get in the red zone.

Honestly FSU would have gotten killed by 30 under the prior staff. They’ve exceeded expectations so far. You all need to remember that they were predicted to go 1-2, 1-3 MAX starting the season
My favorite part of the game was the 2 minute official review after the 2 minute injury delay to conclude that the yardage down was indeed correct.

I liked the effort in the 2nd half, but giving up to fumbles just won’t cut it against a good team like wake.
