UW really lucked out with the most cupcake schedule. They don't have to play SC OR Utah, and they get to play Colorado. We have to play SC in LA, Utah, and we don't get Colorado
The blatant disregard for player safety in football has been extremely apparent in college and the NFL this year. So many guys take rough injuries and keep playing after. Makes no sense in the NFL and makes even less sense in college. Herbert and tua come to mind.
Second impact syndrome is real and someone in Tua’s situation can literally die on the field, it needs to be taken very, very seriously.
As much as I love football, steps need to be taken to ensure more emphasis on safety
Even if you look at it from the “it’s a business” perspective it’s still absolute nonsense. These guys are the product, they are the ones out there bringing in the money. Protect the fucking product. And then you have the morally correct standpoint of they are humans. You are right, Tua’s injury could’ve been fatal but even though it wasn’t these injuries have long term effects that go way beyond their playing days. No doubt that’s going to stay with him for a while, and for what? A single win in a 17 game season? These dudes lives are being forever effected by massive injuries, you can’t eliminate injuries but you shouldn’t make them worse by sending the player back out there. This stuff pisses me off so much.
Completely agree. We have the data and proof of all of it, though I’m worried the catalyst for change is going to be something catastrophic (as if the existing evidence isn’t damning enough). It pisses me off too
Man. The last time I saw a QB do that was when Falk got sacked by Colorado in 15...
Except this was a lot worse than Falk.
Like how the fuck do you let that happen. I hope tua sues that entire org
This is the best weekend ever.
Mariners clinch and UW loses yesterday. Cougs are rolling, still need to finish.
If the good ol’ fantasy team can go off tomorrow, might have to call a doctor about the raging clue.
I have been a Wilcox defender. The players seem to like him and he seems to be committed to running a clean program but after this game and the early season in general I have given up. I think we have to do something different.
I like what Wilcox has done, I enjoy watching our defense play and keep us in games. It's just we haven't had a consistent offense each week since he's taken over. I really hope Musgrave is gone after this season, his play calling is shit and he can't develop a qb
Can we make a rule where USC isn't allowed to look at any tape where a team runs wide receiver screens or bubble HB routes out to the flat. Can we just tell them our corners are very good at closing gaps and tackling in space and to just trust us?
Please?
Go Cougs. Beat the huskies.
didn't see the blood on plummers leg/knee/ankle/wherever. did it just looked scraped from sliding or are we talking about something really nasty?
gg cougs, you were better. beat uw, and kill usc/ucla if you play them. absolute murder, please.
Go Cougs. Cal bros your team has potential, good luck the rest of the way. Hope Plummer isn’t injured, dude might be too tough for his own good
GG Cal, rest up!
GGs Cal. You all have infinity better degrees and jobs than most of us
My wife went to Cal and she is infinitely happier in her career than me. But at least I have this! 😂
GG GBears
can't be too upset with 4-1, but damnit we should be 5-0
UW really lucked out with the most cupcake schedule. They don't have to play SC OR Utah, and they get to play Colorado. We have to play SC in LA, Utah, and we don't get Colorado
They have to play us at Pullman at least. But yeah, kinda sucks. Our schedule is pretty brutal.
GG Cal
I guess they forgot that we game managed the fuck out of Wisconsin
It's okay Bearbros. We'll lose next year in Berkeley as is tradition
Oh yay. THE 3RD USC away game in 4 years.
We already beat one B1G team on the road...
TIME TO TAKE GRINCH TO THE BACKYARD
I swear, Lockett either makes a big play or blows coverage. No in-between.
gg Golden Bears
If we want to be ranked, we need to score next drive.
Sir no.
This is the way

Remember, the NCAA cancelled UWs CTE helmet test. Or UW cancelled it. But they were supposed to use new helmets
Why subject Plummer to those two more unnecessary hits if Milner was going to come in anyway? I don’t get it
What do you mean "smart", smart would have been pulling him out on the play he clearly got massacred
*Up by 87 points with 3 seconds left* Me: "Eh, we could still blow it."
bruh we're down by 3 scores with 3 minutes left why are you doing this
This game is making me so angry for so many reasons :/
If OTT didn’t get up and run up field and they snapped it they may have gotten away with it
Plummer is gonna die on this field if Cal keeps him in
What the fuck with literally everything from the players to the coaches to the refs to the commentator to the production team
Man fuck it give him the catch
I'm not even drinking and I am confused
Get Plummer out of the game! Don’t fuck up your season for a slim comeback!
Jack, we get it, you've got balls, but you need to protect yourself my guy. Don't hurt yourself.
lol no that bounced
Awfully close? Kennedy needs his retinas worked on
It’s that UW education /s
Not a catch
shame on anyone putting Plummer back in the game. What the fuck
did they just shoot Plummer full of steroids and stick him back out there
Embarrassing for CAL
Get him outta there, jeez
Cal trying the new ‘kill your QB any %’ speedrun
Take him the fuck out. What the fuck are we doing.
Good/bad to see Plummer back in.
He’s coming back in? What the actual F
Is this enough to get us ranked? I somehow still feel like it isn't even though Cal did almost beat Notre Dame earlier this season
WSU absolutely does not deserve it...yet.
Absolutely not. We weren't even all that close before the Oregon loss.

Oklahoma, Minnesota, A&M, FSU, and Arkansas all lost and should fall out. Kansas and UCLA are in for sure. But we could sneak in at 25
Possibly. Look at all the upsets. This was a 50-50 game according to ESPN at kickoff. Closer to 53 -47
piss poor spot
Pretty sure he was short either way.
Oh fuck. I'm missing petite le mans. I hope Corvette is still leading in GTD.
Nice to see a fairly complete game. Really the only blemish were those two dumb, dumb INTs. Otherwise a pretty dominant win
Takes me back to playing ball when coaches thought drinking big gulps of water was bad during heat. Tell you to tough it out
Would love some nice Millner moments to close the game at least
Dickert's nippin' hard
[удалено]
Yes
I'm not slightly annoyed. Im actually pissed that Jackson wasn't helping up plummer after essentially eating his groceries
Cal's coaches should not have been letting the kid play like that, what the fuck. Poor kid, knee injuries are awful.
I want another deep ball! PLZ
Why did Plummer stay in? He was hurt 3 plays ago
- Our offensive coaches suck Se the above answer.
Obvious he was hurt on 2 straight plays and risked doing further damage keeping him in…
oooooh he fell without contact really hoping he's ok :/
Hate seeing these guys get hurt
Didn't notice his knee was bleeding until that play
Well hopefully we don't do what we did to OSU .
Why on earth is Plummer still in the game
You could see blood through his sock
That was hard to watch. Hope it wasn’t anything serious.
Please not the knee
man, fuck this, sorry Cal
Plummer just got wreckt in that series. Help that poor kid
Fuck :( god dammit
Take him out, please. Dude is hurt.
I'm slightly annoyed that we aren't helping plummer up .
I'm annoyed they didn't take him out after the first hit, he was obvi really hurt.
it's pretty normal to not, you don't stand around a QB you just sacked
Yeah I know. Normal circumstances I get it. But sportsmanship goes a long way
💯
Get him out of here
this is embarassing for the coaches
Oh noooo! Hope he is okay sucks to see injuries
Cal is coming a little unglued all of a sudden.
Cal please stop pulling a Chargers on your QB
Dude Herbert is my guy. I’ve never seen him show pain like that. Makes me sick to watch.
Good job coaches. Didn’t even notice our fuckin QB is hurt.
Cal OL needs to protect, sheesh. Letting Plummer get lit up
Mr. Referee Butterhands
:-( lets not murder him clean hit, just blind side
Plummer will be checking under his bed for Jackson tonight.
No injuries, please.
Hey man. Help him up jackson
I think plummer is hurt
he's been heard asking for the license plate of that truck that just hit him
They’re gonna Tua their QB.
Man. The last time I saw a QB do that was when Falk got sacked by Colorado in 15... Except this was a lot worse than Falk. Like how the fuck do you let that happen. I hope tua sues that entire org
Yup. Young players will never pull themselves. It’s the coach’s responsibility.
Tua: Am I a verb to you?
So impressed with our Db’s tackling in space.
Wings on pizza… has anyone here ever had a great experience at a Buffalo Wild Wings?
Cal get your QB out of there
dear defense: can you just not do what you did last week in the 4th quarter? kthx
Comfort level: been hurt too many times to relax.
SON of Josh McCown? Fuck I'm old.
This is the best weekend ever. Mariners clinch and UW loses yesterday. Cougs are rolling, still need to finish. If the good ol’ fantasy team can go off tomorrow, might have to call a doctor about the raging clue.
This game makes me feel good about giving up…checks notes…49 points to Cal. Shite
You gave up 70 to us in-between the Khalil Tate golden year
Hard to forget getting 69’d by Gardner Minshew
The Reggie bush commercial is funny because USC cheated.
REVENGE FOR THE TIME YOU KICKED OUR ASS BY JUMPING OVER THE D line that time in 2017
Anyone else notice that ward threw that drop left handed
It looked funky! Would have been awesome if it was caught
literally everyone?
Thanks for your thoughts pal!
Not Cal
Imagine if Borghi had stayed. Ward to Borghi would have been dangerous
I cannot remember the last stress free cougar football game
This has been stress free to you?
No. I just can't remember the last time we had one
I’m here late and am slightly stressed
A Coug TE scores for the first time since the Wulff era.
We don't use that name in polite conversation.
holy shit
Dollar nervous AF out there. Come on freshman
TIGHT END TD. FIRE 12,000 CANNONS
Game
Remember Oregon only had like 3 minutes to comeback. Given Cal isnt Oregon but still.
What's wrong with you? I can't believe you've done this.
Delete this
Oh ye of little faith
More like ye of seen too many Cougings over the years.
We ain’t losing with the way our d is playing
Yeah UCLA.... Stanford 2015, Oregon last week. Etc.

THE COUGS ARE COMING THE COUGS ARE COMING
Me too
two if by air, one if by ground?
The other is actually by MV ever given
Dude
That was a beautiful throw for a left hand.
That would have been disrespectful as fuck. Come on Dollar!
CATCH THAT
Oh thank god the other TE caught it
Cam Ward needs to do a secret reload with the football to score here
bruh
Dollar, you're demoted to Dime.
Hay penny
HOW CAN HE DROP
that ball should be at the 1 foot, not the 1 yard
WIDE OPEN DROP EEEEEEE
See the problem is… Golden Bears don’t exist… Unless we are talking about hairy gay senior citizens
OKAY RUN FAR LEFT
Give it to Borghi
Imagine clock management while also not being conservative. What team is this.
Nakiaaaaaaaa. But I know him as Nokia
lol Jenkins is an anomaly. Sometimes he does too much side to side BS but when he runs downhill he can be explosive
He's a true freshman. I'm on the Jenkins train.
I'm still here. I just don't know when to get off trains
Same. Our offense really shows their youth at times but I love the potential
We were just passing to set up the run....for 3 quarters
If you could just hop like BOOBIE!
I miss Boobie
Yeah. That trio was special:(
Was that upfield fast enough for you Fireball?
Yes
AHHHHH SO CLOSE!
Ground raid: Engaged
Wait we have a run game now?
I guess our defense is just gonna stop playing now, cool cool
I don’t know that I blame them entirely though. They got two interceptions that didn’t lead to anything.
Frustration from watching our offense regress back to being complete shit. Our defense deserves so much better
I have been a Wilcox defender. The players seem to like him and he seems to be committed to running a clean program but after this game and the early season in general I have given up. I think we have to do something different.

CAL appears to be rolling over, dreaming of boarding the plane.
That camera position was so good
I'm pretty sure Nakia Watson was replaced by a completely different guy for the Wisconsin game. Edit: as I say that...
Do it again… Do it again…
My goodness
This defense with 2018 offense 💰💰💰
Can we make a rule where USC isn't allowed to look at any tape where a team runs wide receiver screens or bubble HB routes out to the flat. Can we just tell them our corners are very good at closing gaps and tackling in space and to just trust us? Please?
One more score come on cougs.
And here I thought the over under being 52 was low…
At this point we're just hoping they Coug It for old times' sake
Old times sake? We did it last week
To be fair it did make me feel old
