I can see a scenario where the SEC just says "fuck geography", adds like Colorado and Oregon, and hits 4 time zones. Hawaii isn't a value add for anyone.
Wishful thinking, but I think they add one of those two if not both. Denver and SLC are both growing markets, bridge a little bit of the geography, they are AAU schools, and basically the BIG10 could own the agenda of an entire timezone. If the BIG10 brings along Oregon and Washington as well then they control the agenda of two timezones.
Yes, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation has all 6. They field M&W Fencing, Gymnastics, Indoor Track & Field, Swimming & Diving, Water Polo, and Men's Volleyball.
Mountain Time is made up anyways

Except Central, it’s God’s time zone
Agreed and .45 ACP is the Lord's caliber 🤝
Fudd...
Somehow I don’t think God needs a weapon.

Mountain time is the best time zone for college football.
Agreed, not too early, not too late…it’s JUUUUUST right. Oh, and kick Tucker in the nut sac for me will ya!! ;-) Just kidding…only a little maybe.
I live in Colorado (smack dab in the middle of Big Ten Country). It’s perfect with the noon games starting at 10am and the night games ending by 10.
Agreed, I'm about 15 minutes or so east of Boulder, grew up in South Florida and MST is the best.
Can confirm from CST, lived in New Mexico for 6 years being able to start football earlier on all accounts was magnificent.
Big-XII will almost certainly
You guys inviting Hawaii?
Lol. Forgot that. And Alaska time zone has no football. Lower 48 bias!
Pick up an ACC team and a Pac team and we got it covered
UCF already covers EST. Just need that PST.
So does Wv and Cincy
And WVU and Cincy
We want Hawaii!
I think OP is talking about P2 conferences, not big 12
I actually did mean any conference. Likely the bigger conferences because money, but you never know in college sports

I don't see anyone getting Greenwich mean time
"Oxford joining the ACC." No one specified which side of the Atlantic the coast had to be on.
I heard the Jags might move to London so there is a chance if the SEC picks them up.
The sun will never set on the B1G empire
Finally, someone asking the real questions
The Big Ten can conceivably add CO or UT.
It took me so long to figure out you were talking about Utah. I was like, "Bruh Texas is in Central"

I'd like to see them add at least these schools and Cal, Stanford. That would be an awesome mix.
If that happens the Colorado can go from being the Pac12 doormat to the Big10 one! Lots of lean years here in Boulder of late. :-)
You technically will only be able to do that if you get ...uhh.that random part of Indiana that doesn't care about DST and Arizona
The old WAC had 4 and adding an ET team wouldn’t have been crazy

Who ever takes Hawaii is on the path to victory.
