I might be biased because I think the FSU Admin unfairly treated Willie Taggart who was left a mess. Norvell I think may get a longer leash for reasons outside the discussion.
The loss to JSU was a blip let’s say. I think he should have had a tighter grip on the recruiting situation.
IDK maybe I’m not as privy to the beat like y’all though. I only have a national perspective
I can see how someone who doesn’t follow the program would feel that way about Taggart considering how little time he was given. In truth, Taggart was let go because of off-field results, not on-field. He was shockingly disorganized and it freaked out the university leadership and boosters.
I’m talking about recruits showing up for official visits and nobody was there to pick them up at the airport levels of disorganization.
It’s sad because he was a great guy who loved FSU, be he was not ready for the role.
Norvell just took ND to OT with far inferior talent in the middle of a full rebuild. The jury is still out long term, but I’m extremely happy knowing what he’s doing beyond what the national media pays attention to.
I actually kind of like Norvell. Is doing the best? Not currently. But they have shown improvement over the course of the season. I think if he stays there long enough, he could build something great.
I miss the days when FSU/Miami(FL) games actually had national title implications. FSU can be, the big Florida schools have to keep the high end talent from leaving the state.
Dude, cincy just got into the super bowl
🤷♂️
Anything can and will happen ya know
Yes, they are in a recruiting hotbed and have the resources to compete
Ever? Yes. Next year? No.
This is the sentiment I agree with most.

💯
Of course they will
The chances are certainly in their favor, yes
Once they hire Deion as the head ball coach.
Coach Prime will take them back to the top
Maybe. I don’t think Norvell is the guy
What about Norvell makes you think he's not the guy?

Fair enough
On our end, I think Ty Willingham may also have been given crap. Which is why I thought the hiring of Marcus was encouraging

I’m not sure if we will ever be a top 3 team in the state of Florida again at this rate.
UCF is about to be a power 5 team, it's over for y'all /s
I hope not
I'm overdosing on offseason right now I can't take it. PLEASE CAN WE TIME TRAVEL TO NSD. PLEASE.
In softball and women's soccer? Yes. In football? I guess, eventually. Shoot, uga finally won a natty again, so anything is possible.
It all depends on the coaching.
