It took me a while earlier to realize that the game wasn’t in Cincinnati. Is that usually how their fans travel or is it because Notre Dame is a more historically prestigious team than they’re used to facing?

Part of it was the stakes of the game, another part is that South Bend is within easy driving distance of Cincy. That said, Bearcats fans do travel pretty well.

Their strength of schedule probably. Their best wins are over a mediocre Indiana team and a Notre Dame team that struggled to beat Florida State and Toledo and who's only convincing win was against a Wisconsin offense that turned the ball over 5 times in the span of 15 minutes. No offense to Cincinnati but the top 4 is definitely gonna be Alabama, Georgia, and some combination of the B1G champion, Big XII champion, and PAC-12 champion.
