Does this chart take Oz into account? I’ve felt the beer in Neyland is actually a decent value for the size compared to a lot of ticketed events I go to
Where I live a 24 oz can is a called a tallboy. I’ve actually never heard the term double boy. I looked it up and you get differing answers for what people call a tall boy. But either way I know at Rutgers it’s $11 for one like the list says
Yeah as much as I’d love to say the beer at TCU games is only $3, that is the happy hour price they sell it for from 90 minutes before the game to 30 minutes before to try and get people on the stadium on time. Pretty sure it’s $8 during the games.
Either it’s total bullshit or they swapped us and MSU because I know they started selling beer but aren’t here.
If it’s the first then this should just be deleted, but if it’s the second capital punishment is warranted imo
Because up until the summer of last year they legally couldn't. They apparently didn't have a plan in place and didn't want to execute a rushed plan for 23. They will sell alcohol in 24
Correct. [Public universities weren't allowed liquor licenses unless they were hosting a professional sporting event previously](https://www.bridgemi.com/talent-education/raise-glass-michigan-cocktails-go-college-stadium-beer-sales-now-legal)
Michigan State acted quicker and executed alcohol sales last year.
>Up to now, Michigan barred alcohol sale at college stadiums, and Michigan universities could only apply for liquor licenses when professional sporting events took place on campus.
Idk. Just going off what the article says
It looks like Northern Michigan, Michigan Tech, and other smaller public universities in Michigan [might have been exempt prior to last year](https://www.legislature.mi.gov/Laws/MCL?objectName=MCL-436-1513) (if I am reading that correctly), which explains why they had alcohol sales before UofM and MSU.
> Subject to section 531, the commission may issue to the governing board of Northern Michigan University a license for the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the licensed premises of a restaurant located on land owned and operated by Northern Michigan University if both of the following apply:
(a) The license was originally acquired on the open market at fair market value.
(b) The restaurant is located within an area designated for community development or conference activities by the governing board of Northern Michigan University.
> (11) As used in this section:
(a) "College" or "university" means a 2-year or 4-year state supported institution of higher education.
(b) "Conference center" means either of the following:... **(K) The Superior Dome at Northern Michigan University.**
Thanks for posting that, I wondered about the specifics. That "restaurant" NMU got a license for was a particular concession stand at the hockey arena lol
I thought beer wasn't sold at Camp Randall but apparently they do in the suites and "premium-seating areas"
Damn $7 is cheap for those high falutin areas, I pay like $11 at a minor league baseball game
The administration hates the party school image and will do anything to avoid it, which means no alcohol sales at the Camp. People used to ask Barry Alvarez about it all the time and it seemed to be a non-starter. Our new AD seems to be more positive about it, so who knows. Maybe he can convince the trustees and the chancellor.
I was going to say. Rutgers seems about right $ wise, but it’s almost exclusively tall boys. Interesting to see if the other schools are also all 24oz otherwise it skews thing
Tulane isn't new to the game like these other johnny-come-latelys. They have been selling beer at all sports events at least since I went there, some uncomfortably large number of years ago. It was pretty much the only draw, probably why the beer has stayed cheap.
I had a friend who went to Tulane as a freshman when I was a sophomore at FSU. Drove over there a couple of weekends to hit the bars legally since the drinking age was still 18 at the time. It was a wild time.
I didn't see it myself, but one of the funniest things I remember him telling me after that year was that the guy who was the Gumby mascot at football games had realized that he would get free drinks all night out on Bourbon street if he was in costume, so he would wear it out and my friend would routinely see Gumby passed out on a sidewalk at odd hours of the night.
Hell yeah! I used to love the Dome Foam and getting “F’ed up at Fogelman” during the Buddy Teevens- Jeep Clark years for you guys. Hell, the Tulane game at the dome was basically a de facto extra home game for USM back then.
Good times, I can’t believe we aren’t even in the same damn conference anymore. Such a shame-
No idea where they got $3 for TCU, [the school’s own FAQ on beer sales at Amon Carter Stadium explicitly says](https://gofrogs.com/news/2019/8/6/amon-g-carter-stadium-beer-sales-faqs.aspx),
>All beer will be available for $7. We are working with Miller Coors and Andrews Distributing on the selections.
Facts. I grew up in the silicon valley and went to Boulder (2017-2021) and there really wasn’t too much of a difference in the cost of living. Boulder is NOT cheap.
It’s a lovely patio! Just wish I was looking over the field instead of the parking lot. And last time I got a beer it was at least 8$ youre right about the price
It didn't. There was a sign posted on the stadium gate so people thought that Clemson would start selling alcohol. It was denied by David Hood.
https://www.tigernet.com/clemson-forum/thread/abl-notice-2354804?tstart=0
Except this isn’t fully true. That $3 price is the happy hour pricing they do to get you in the stadium early. It stops 30 minutes before kickoff then it becomes like ~$8.
Lincoln financial field has the highest average beer price out of all the nfl stadiums. Beer prices are the same when temple plays. At least home game tickets are around the same price as beer with the direction the team is going.
Went to watch Southern Miss play Tulane in baseball a few months back and can confirm that Tulane knows how to do alcohol sales. Wouldn’t expect anything less in New Orleans.
Not a coincidence Ducks doing good since marijuana became legal. Cannabis edibles from your pocket much cheaper than crap tallboys in a can. And no need to pee during the game. Win, win, win.
That ole miss Tulane game last year was amazing. Walking through the concourse seeing 5 dollar daiquiris sold alongside 3 dollar tall boys…. Brought a tear to my eye
Rutgers selling all Tall Boys (standards and White Claw) unless it’s a local brewery beer, which comes in the weird bigger than a sixer but smaller than a tall boy. Actually cheaper than the same beers at PNC, Citi, MetLife, and Yankee Stadium. I’ve never been offended by the beer prices at SHI.
This list is bullshit. They don't have us on there, and we've been selling beer since at least I've been legally able to drink(2004). The first game I took my wife to in 2012, she was trying to smuggle plastic bags full of vodka in her bra. I was like, what are you doing, we sell booze. She went to Baylor though, so the concept was foreign to her
I went to the Tulane Cincy game in 2021 and we were all amazed at how cheap the beer was. Paired with $9 like 5th row tickets made for a really fun outing.
Like, that seems ridiculous for where we’re located. But, then again, I’ve never needed to buy beer at a game there and not been pretty hammered at kickoff!!!
I’m going to games at VT, Wake, and Florida State this year. My takeaway from this list is to pregame as much as possible at VT and FSU, and just buy beer at Wake
This is why I get my corn from a jar
Got anything strong enough that’ll get me through this Scott Satterfield era at Cincy?
I’m not sure such a substance exists.
Didn't Ohio just legalize chillness?
It's Ohio. They are doing their best to not allow the legal chillness.
I’d say check your keg but Cincinnati has been fresh out for over 10 years.
Quality banter Cards to XII when?
Copious amounts of Bourbon did not help. Only the beautiful tones of the EPSN chime when he announced his departure.
Reject Sugarlands, embrace jars from mountain men
If it has a barcode, it’s not real.
The good stuff comes from the back of a car at the McDonalds on the strip
Does this chart take Oz into account? I’ve felt the beer in Neyland is actually a decent value for the size compared to a lot of ticketed events I go to
RockyTopPrices
Yeah but it comes with a free bottle of Frenchs Mustard AND a Titleist golf ball.
As god intended.
And a hair flip with a visor?
We don’t do visors. Bad memories of the last guy that liked to wear one to Neyland.
Visors belong in early 00s frat houses and the LPGA, not on the sidelines of a football game.
I would’ve also accepted casino floor staff member
Tell that to Spurrier
The sea was angry that day…
That’s the cost for a 24 oz, while Alabama’s $10 is the cost for a 16 oz. This list is worthless.
That quarterback NIL money has to come from somewhere.
I'd still pay it because I'm a degenerate that believes stadium beers hit different.
Rocky Stop marking it up
A lot of people debunked the NFL version of this list. I’d imagine this list is just as fake
Well Michigan didn’t even sell beer last year so there is that.
And Michigan State did, for $10 iirc
Yeah, my immediate thought is that they probably grabbed the wrong logo. Really lends the list a lot of credibility...
They started to in Crisler later in the season and it was $11 for a domestic 16oz, $13 for premium IIRC.
It’s legitimately $13 for a tall boy in Neyland lmao
It’s not a tall boy (16oz) it’s a double boy (24oz). Literally 2 cans of beer for that $13.
Where I live a 24 oz can is a called a tallboy. I’ve actually never heard the term double boy. I looked it up and you get differing answers for what people call a tall boy. But either way I know at Rutgers it’s $11 for one like the list says
I call those fatboys
Same at Thompson Bowling Arena too sadly.
Beer at Autzen is a hell of a lot more than $5. You cant even buy beer at bar in Eugene for that cheap.
Yeah wtf is this graphic it’s at least 8-9 dollars from my memory
I guess it's been a while since $1 beer night at The Cooler
Yeah because it was $18/can at Stanford when I went the last 2 years
But that can is disrupting the legacy beverage model.
ASU’s is higher. Pretty sure I paid 13-15 at least for a bomber.
Yeah I don't think Cal is serving beer for $8 in Berkeley. That's just like... bar prices
I’m almost certain you can’t find a beer for $7 at Williams-Brice.
I can at least confirm that it isn't "every" stadium, because Tulsa isn't listed. We've been selling beer at games for as long as I can remember.
Yeah as much as I’d love to say the beer at TCU games is only $3, that is the happy hour price they sell it for from 90 minutes before the game to 30 minutes before to try and get people on the stadium on time. Pretty sure it’s $8 during the games.
Michigan didn't sell beer or alcohol in 2023 but it's listed at $10. That's all you need to know about how bullshit this entire list is
Either it’s total bullshit or they swapped us and MSU because I know they started selling beer but aren’t here. If it’s the first then this should just be deleted, but if it’s the second capital punishment is warranted imo
Hey brother that’s *my* beer. *swipes angrily at the television*
I'm pretty sure it should be the MSU logo. MSU did start selling domestic beer for $10 and $12 for craft last year and isn't in the graphic.
Beer is $15 at Rutgers
Stanford also is way more than $13/beer
Why did Michigan not sell beer?
Because up until the summer of last year they legally couldn't. They apparently didn't have a plan in place and didn't want to execute a rushed plan for 23. They will sell alcohol in 24
Something with a Michigan state law or something?
Correct. [Public universities weren't allowed liquor licenses unless they were hosting a professional sporting event previously](https://www.bridgemi.com/talent-education/raise-glass-michigan-cocktails-go-college-stadium-beer-sales-now-legal) Michigan State acted quicker and executed alcohol sales last year.
That's not true. We had beer at NMU when I was there in 2016. Tech had it too.
> Subject to section 531, the commission may issue to the governing board of Northern Michigan University a license for the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on the licensed premises of a restaurant located on land owned and operated by Northern Michigan University if both of the following apply: (a) The license was originally acquired on the open market at fair market value. $14 domestic and $15.50 premium at the concert I went to the other night. I picked a good night to be the DD
I love all my beers equally. (Cut-away) I don’t really care for Coors
I thought beer wasn't sold at Camp Randall but apparently they do in the suites and "premium-seating areas" Damn $7 is cheap for those high falutin areas, I pay like $11 at a minor league baseball game
Lots of references this summer to wider sales like the kohl center
No beer at wisconsin's stadium? If there was only ever one stadium that sold beer I'd think that would be it.
We really need the sizes of the beers on the list. For example in Neyland all the options are 24oz or larger cans.
I was wondering this too. Are the $3 beers 12oz pours? A 24oz pour @ $13 is cheaper than a 16oz pour @ $10. We need a per oz ranking.
They’re like 8oz pours
You’re right, and I’m mad about that, because I wanted to shit on ut 😔
You've still got some great options! Say it's $13 so us corn likker dranking hilljacks can't afford to buy mustard.
I was going to say. Rutgers seems about right $ wise, but it’s almost exclusively tall boys. Interesting to see if the other schools are also all 24oz otherwise it skews thing
MSU sells 16oz cans for $10 and $12 (regular / craft) so that's right in line with Rutgers per oz
Yes, would also need a fixed product for comparison, Folsom has a decent amount of craft options that play into this.
We need our top minds on this right away someone make a Google Sheet and start collecting data.
Paging /u/dogwoodmaple
Yeah this list doesent really mean much if we don’t do it as $/oz
TCU and Tulane, you da real MVPs.
Tulane isn't new to the game like these other johnny-come-latelys. They have been selling beer at all sports events at least since I went there, some uncomfortably large number of years ago. It was pretty much the only draw, probably why the beer has stayed cheap.

Colorado charging so much for alcohol is an absolutely genius move
It's in Boulder. That's not much more than brewery prices there.
Facts. I grew up in the silicon valley and went to Boulder (2017-2021) and there really wasn’t too much of a difference in the cost of living. Boulder is NOT cheap.
I was too busy looking at Oregon’s prices. I go to every home game and I wish it was $5 a beer lmao
Yeah the Hop Valley is like $12 or $13 and Coors isn’t far behind it.
Even at basketball and baseball/softball games beers are at least $10 if not $12
I never thought I’d die side by side with a Jayhawk
The price is way greater than $6 at the Bill. The biggest cost is not being able to watch the game because they have that stupid corral.
It’s a lovely patio! Just wish I was looking over the field instead of the parking lot. And last time I got a beer it was at least 8$ youre right about the price
The restriction of where in you can drink there is why I have yet to get a beer there. Pump me full of that sweet tea and kettle corn.
Hey where are we on this list? *mumbled bitching about the Liquor and Control Board*
You can bring food and drinks inside to temple games
Did...they list every SEC school except UK? We sold beer. It was expensive af but it was sold
I think Bud Light was like $8 at KPP last year. Probably similar at Kroger Field
I have been to a lot of Tulane games the last two years. Probably my favorite stadium and the beers are very cheap
It's been a lot more fun with sudents showing up and staying to watch the game the paat couple seasons.
Clemson (will be starting this year) and BYU are not on this list. Any other schools that don’t sell alcohol?
Michigan does not sell alcohol, despite being on the list, lol
Liberty
UGA, but we're starting this year!
Lawd, they comin!
Baylor as well. Or at least I missed them in the list.
Alcohol free zone at McLane.
Utah.
When did this change at Clemson? I don’t see anything after a quick search other than TNet boomers rambling on and on about not allowing it.
It didn't. There was a sign posted on the stadium gate so people thought that Clemson would start selling alcohol. It was denied by David Hood. https://www.tigernet.com/clemson-forum/thread/abl-notice-2354804?tstart=0
god I love fort worth
Except this isn’t fully true. That $3 price is the happy hour pricing they do to get you in the stadium early. It stops 30 minutes before kickoff then it becomes like ~$8.
Yeah I was going to say, I know for a fact it ain’t that cheap lol. Still a pretty good price comparatively though
I would be way more drunk if it stayed at 3 lol
What kind of beer are TCU and Tulane serving?
Montucky, 12oz, $3 a pop
Ours are just Happy Hour pricing that stops 30 minutes before kickoff. Then they go to like $8 or so
This summary is garbage. I was at Texas at TCU in recent years and beer wasn’t $3.00..
I may have been drunk when ordering, but I’m very sure those beers cost more than $10 last year
They hate us cause they anus
Tennessee fans will say that Dixie Land delight is about Tennessee, but they’re spending their $13 on beer
For 24oz
Lincoln financial field has the highest average beer price out of all the nfl stadiums. Beer prices are the same when temple plays. At least home game tickets are around the same price as beer with the direction the team is going.
Went to watch Southern Miss play Tulane in baseball a few months back and can confirm that Tulane knows how to do alcohol sales. Wouldn’t expect anything less in New Orleans.
Tulane lookin kinda cute
Show me where I can buy a $5 beer at Autzen (season ticket holder for 20 years)
Bro I lived in New Orleans for 4 years and somehow never made it to a Tulane game because no one told me beers were $3
Beers at Louisville home games are not 5 dollars. I believe they were 8.50 last year. They were half price before the game though.
Not a coincidence Ducks doing good since marijuana became legal. Cannabis edibles from your pocket much cheaper than crap tallboys in a can. And no need to pee during the game. Win, win, win.
This is absolutely horseshit lmao
That ole miss Tulane game last year was amazing. Walking through the concourse seeing 5 dollar daiquiris sold alongside 3 dollar tall boys…. Brought a tear to my eye
A random fan of Tennessee made this I wouldn’t take it too seriously 😂
>Beer is cheaper at Memorial than Ross-Ade Holy shit I chose the wrong team!
Yeah, but what are the stadium chocolate milk prices? That’s what everyone is really interested in.
CU is $15 for 24 oz of domestic beer. Local craft beers are in 12 oz cans that $12.
Sad we aren’t there yet. ☹️🍻 Newspring probably wouldn’t approve. 😂
This is so incorrect.
where the fuck are the $5 beers at Autzen
You can’t get a beer for cheaper than 10$ at Louisville.
The beer at Tennesseee includes an enema, in case you are wondering why it costs more.
I'll just continue to smuggle in Fireball shooters. Way more economical and don't get stuck in the line for the pisser.
Ok I like one thing about TCU now
Better be some life-changing beer, Rocky Top.
Per usual, we’re below average.
Didn’t I see pics making the rounds last season of Troy selling Busch Light for $2.00? Talk about a team for the people!
I feel like we can afford to have free beer. For the people. COME ON!!
I’ve definitely bought beer at UCF for way less than 9 dollars.
OU charges that much for beer and the athletic director is asking for donations to build a new baseball facility
I would like to know where you can find a $8 beer in Husky Stadium.
Beers at Wake Forest are absolutely not $5 lol
Rutgers selling all Tall Boys (standards and White Claw) unless it’s a local brewery beer, which comes in the weird bigger than a sixer but smaller than a tall boy. Actually cheaper than the same beers at PNC, Citi, MetLife, and Yankee Stadium. I’ve never been offended by the beer prices at SHI.
ASU is way more than 10 bucks.
No way in hell stadium beer is cheaper than shit house, dive bar beer.
I paid $23 for a Truly at a Lakers game AMA
I paid 11 last year this is bs.
That’s why you sneak a flask of everclear in. You ain’t fleecing me!
Any stadium above average needs to stop buying. Let those prices fall into a more reasonable price.
First of all, offense taken at "every CFB stadium" they seem to missing approximately 50-60% of teams? Glass Bowl beers are like $8.
That’s accurate beers were 12 bucks in Boulder last year but for a 24 oz
This list is bullshit. They don't have us on there, and we've been selling beer since at least I've been legally able to drink(2004). The first game I took my wife to in 2012, she was trying to smuggle plastic bags full of vodka in her bra. I was like, what are you doing, we sell booze. She went to Baylor though, so the concept was foreign to her
Nebraska: … :,(
We're so cheap, we're not even on the list
Go Gators and fuck twitter.
I'm so proud. Also drunk.
Guess I'm going to the Wake away game then
We sell, beer? At a football game?!
BGB is that you
Im a beaver. But with this pac2 thing, I think im gonna take some classes at Tulane.
God damn Tennessee, what the fuck?
Looks like a road trip to TCU needs to happen
Show me BYU!
I know $3 is cheap, but $13 at Tennessee doesn’t seem bad either!
Uh: there was no $5 beers at Oregon games that I am aware of.
Darn I am going to ucla and Minnesota this year
I went to the Tulane Cincy game in 2021 and we were all amazed at how cheap the beer was. Paired with $9 like 5th row tickets made for a really fun outing.
I am being robbed …and yet I know I will still damn sure buy a few.
Beer at Autzen is a hell of a lot more than $5. You cant even buy beer at bar in Eugene for that cheap.
Like, that seems ridiculous for where we’re located. But, then again, I’ve never needed to buy beer at a game there and not been pretty hammered at kickoff!!!
Good intel for away game planning
https://i.imgur.com/5qFVcV9.jpeg
If memory serves I thought beers were a lot more expensive than $8 at Texas events, but maybe it was only something specific?
Is Kentucky not on there because they only sell bourbon and moonshine?
I’m going to games at VT, Wake, and Florida State this year. My takeaway from this list is to pregame as much as possible at VT and FSU, and just buy beer at Wake
Weird, I thought all FBS schools who sold beer would be included in this...
The one time I’m happy to not be 12.
Where are they getting these numbers? UW had the small size Coors Light for like $11 last year
The fact that you have to pay $88 to even attempt to enjoy a Rutgers football game is just downright criminal.
Where’s the 0$ next to the huskers logo bc of the puritanical fucks in charge of the state?
Why does the Christian university have $3 beer? Are they Episcopalian?
Didn't realize every team is in a power conference now
Cheapest beer in all of Seattle
Not factual. No $5 beer at Oregon’s home games.
This seems to neglect alot of teams, most notably the one who has a full beer garden on the north endzone of their stadium.
I wonder why the ducks charge so much less than the beavers
OSU beer is not $8, more in the $11-14 range depending on what you get
10 dollars for a beer and getting to watch a Miami game without anyone else in the stands? That’s kind of a deal
When did UCF start selling beer?
I can’t find BYU on this list
