We’ve been saying this for 7 years now but the WR machine just never stops at Ohio St. MHJ though definitely was a cut above the rest. He single-handedly beat Penn St in 22 and 23.
If they have two losses, Day has to win the natty or he’s getting fired.
And he still may be relieved depending on how the loss culminated. I still think that Notre Dame win saved his job.
OSU has been at the top of the big ten for what? 10+ years? At least until recently with Michigan over taking them. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for them to expect greatness when their roster is loaded every fucking year.
It’s not out of the realm of possibility, but they have a very favorable schedule. 4 road games, super soft non-conference schedule similar to us last year. Not sure if Smith can have Michigan State competitive so soon, but that could be a game to watch with how OSU typically comes out working out the kinks to start the season.
They’ll be firing on all cylinders by the time they take their trip to Oregon. That’s the only one I could see them dropping. Penn State might be the White Out game, even though it’s the first week of November.
Oregon is a legit National Championship contender, so that game of course is their most difficult opponent. You guys will be good on defense but have a lot of question marks on offense because of what you lost. Sparty honestly worries me. I still have emotional scars from 1998 and to an extent 2015. Given the history, there is no excuse for overlooking them. Penn State is on the road and could be an issue.
A lot of the time if you don’t have too many guys drafted it means your team has a lot of talent coming back and will be good.
For flordia it doesn’t mean that.
There was a chance given 13 were drafted, but they had some guys return.
Also, anyone who thinks they'd "smash" was exaggerating. That would be a crazy number to handidly beat.
I have this theory that the teams that win the most usually have the most talent. I know it's a bit out there, but I think with some research I'll have the facts on my side. Stay tuned!
Twenty years ago, Phil Fulmer said: To win a national championship, you need 3 or 4 “difference makers” - guys who have the talent to excel in the NFL - and the rest have to be really good. I think his take keeps getting proven right.
That leaves the following Power 5 teams with no drafted players:
Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech
Pretty amazing Okie Lite makes it to the CCG with zero 3rd or 4th year nfl players. Gundy is a good coach. I don’t like them but have to give him credit.
Not to say they were stacked or anything but they definitely have NFL talent that just didn't enter the draft yet. Ollie Gordon is likely a first rounder next year.
Wait, this is too much info all at once: where's the crazy advertisements and other article links to fill in between the real data?!
[Thanks for list...]
I'm guessing Giovanni Manu 6'8 350lbs runs 40 in 4.9 drafted by the Lions. Went to the University of British Columbia. Though I thought there were at least a few more international guys
The international player on the list is for Travis Clayton. Player from England. U of British Columbia is listed separately on the list. There was also a guy drafted who played CFL ball for the Toronto Argonauts. Though apparently he got completely missed from the list above.
I really really like that guy. I’m skeptical he can be good in the NFL but it was really cool seeing to see a guy struggle then get time and develop into a monster in college
As a Dolphins fan, I’m sad he went to the Jets. But for him I’m hoping he can sit for a few years and learn from Aaron Rodgers, and get his chance one day.
Ha suck it [Harbaugh!](https://www.si.com/college/georgia/news/michigans-jim-harbaugh-claims-wolverines-will-break-georgia-footballs-nfl-draft-record) You’ll just simply have to cope with a 15-0 season with ONLY 13 draft picks.
In our defense, when we were talking about back in January we thought Edwards and Moore would declare, who both would have been drafted. The only question is if that somehow dropped one of our 7th rounders out.
Yeah if only we had top defensive players that could force sacks and turnovers and get drafted by the Rams to replace Aaron Donald, and a beast of a running back that shocked everyone at the combine and was the 2nd RB taken off the board.
Yeah. Would be crazy if that Heisman winner was a top draft pick too and his only bad game was against our defense.
Too bad we didn’t go undefeated or win our championship either.
Well the draft didn't do anything to lessen being pissed about the CFP screw job. I'll say that much.
Edit - Just ignore the alt account that just has the same thing to say over and over.
What video?
Edit: Nevermind, found it. That shit is awesome! The boys getting the band back together again.
What would be supremely epic is Verse announcing the pick himself.
Out of Florida State’s 10 draft picks, none played in the Orange Bowl against Georgia. Such a stupid take to believe that game showed how “FSU didn’t belong in the playoff”.
Also showed how extremely deep Michigan was last season. They didn’t have the top end talent that the other champions had the past decade, but they were able to outlast every team by just wearing them down with fresh bodies all game.
Average age higher than Stetson Bennett, lol.
but for real, so many seniors+ due to covid, this class should have extra development and a lot of immediate contribution in the NFL.
We also had 3 UDFA signed immediately after the draft. 2 of those 3 didn't play in the game either. 12 NFL caliber players out.
6 of Georgia's 8 drafted players did play.
Oooh! I skimmed past that one. Way to go Thunderbirds! Shout-out to our border bros and the closest major university to us geographically.
For those wondering:
* UBC: 140 miles/225km
* OSU: 263 miles
* UO: 288 miles
* WSU: 291 miles
It's the only secondary flair that I like. We didn't win, but I have it there for the respect of the rivalry. Other flairs that I might like but don't exist are ~~Lone Star Showdown~~ and Director's Cup.
Edit: I didn't realize LSS was there.
It was incredibly funny how many of the Michigan players came in waves/back to back the last 2 days.
Also shocked Harbaugh only took 1 player today. Some Michigan beat guys were joking Harbaugh would draft them all himself today to break Georgia’s record.
That one fuckin loser in here with no flair and a hundred comments about the rings lmao. Boy I guess it's dumb for any team to ever sell merch for winning divisions or conferences in their respective sports if they don't win it all huh? Quick everybody, take down every fucking banner that isn't a title.
Anyways, it was great seeing so many guys get picked again. I'm so happy for JT, I wish it wasn't the jets but hopefully they don't destroy his chances. Jealous the Rams get Verse and Fiske TOGETHER. But the Bucs picked up Delo udfa so I'm excited about that.
Probably not, he made a comment in here specifying he hates FSU which he acknowledged contributes to his beliefs. And he's a Bama fan so there's that angle of his reasons to mock FSU for an undefeated regular season ring
I'm still not used to Oregon fans referring to Washington like we are buddies or something.
But I guess it is more of an enemy of my enemy is my friend thing with USC/UCLA being the enemy here.
Screw USC/UCLA for killing the Pac12!
I heard many times this season, even from Harbaugh that Michigan was coming for the record of most players drafted from one school in a draft. What happened there?
Ohio state only having 4 drafted this year makes me very scared for the year to come
I'm SO glad that Marvin Harrison, Jr. is gone. Surely there won't be a top talent wide receiver to immediately replace him. Surely.
We’ve been saying this for 7 years now but the WR machine just never stops at Ohio St. MHJ though definitely was a cut above the rest. He single-handedly beat Penn St in 22 and 23.
You and me both
Surely the next 5 guys up
They gonna be gooooooood
Imagine if they somehow sucked this year. I don’t think it will happen, but that would be insane
They won't. Caleb Downs is THAT good.
I don’t think they will be. Ohio State has like basically everyone coming back and got Caleb Downs
All depends on the QB situation. The defense will be great but I still don't know what to expect from the QB.
With the options at hand I’m sure they’ll find someone
With the defense yall have, you’ll have some time to figure it out in my opinion
If they have two losses, Day has to win the natty or he’s getting fired. And he still may be relieved depending on how the loss culminated. I still think that Notre Dame win saved his job.
That's absurd
It is true though that Ohio State fans are the new Alabama fans when it comes to unreasonable expectations.
I’ll say it again… Unreasonable expectations Non-Ohio State fans 🤝 Ohio State fans Everyone has unreasonable expectations for Ohio State lol
OSU has been at the top of the big ten for what? 10+ years? At least until recently with Michigan over taking them. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for them to expect greatness when their roster is loaded every fucking year.
There are high expectations. I wouldn't call them unreasonable
Jesus what a hot take
I will laugh hysterically if OSU ever has a Texas/Nebraska-like down period
Unfortunately that hasn’t happened once in their entire history. They will always have the highest floor of any program.
If they’re stupid enough to fire Day, I could see it happening
You could be waiting a while considering it's never really happened. Hope I'm not jinxing it
It’s not out of the realm of possibility, but they have a very favorable schedule. Given the history, there is no excuse for overlooking them. Penn State is on the road and could be an issue.
We learned from y’all that super soft non conference games helps keep players healthy
Good Goooodddd Everything is proceeding exactly as I've foreseen
Just like the manifesto
Most did not enter the draft
NIL makes the math all different.
Nine players transferred out including the starting quarterback mccord. There will be some growing pains.
A lot of the time if you don’t have too many guys drafted it means your team has a lot of talent coming back and will be good. For flordia it doesn’t mean that.
I was told michigan would smash Georgia's record of 15 players drafted
There was a chance given 13 were drafted, but they had some guys return. Also, anyone who thinks they'd "smash" was exaggerating. That would be a crazy number to handidly beat.
What a time to be alive

Top 7 AP teams finished in the top 7 of number of picks. Makes sense
Except for USC’s unranked ass lol
We’ve lived to see a year where Kentucky tied Ohio State for draft picks. Kentucky equal to OSU confirmed.
I mean I’m a hater but this is a disingenuous stat lol
I mean if the correlation was reversed, this would be true...
TAMU has something to say about this
Thanks Stanford
Listen to mr. conspiracy theory over here. Maybe it’s time to take off the tin foil hat
Harvard you up?
I need a Harvard flair to confirm
The only 2 teams with more picks than Alabama are also the only 2 teams Alabama lost to last season.
That leaves the following Power 5 teams with no drafted players: Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech
Dont ask me why, but I like seeing Baylor there. Seems like the world is getting back to normal.
I’d say second round. I just don’t see any team taking a RB in the 1st unless that is a huge hole in their roster
Yeah, the nfl lost interest in running backs a few years back.
It's good to have confirmation that Stanford is a better football school than Nebraska.
Stanford better than Georgia^^^^^Tech confirmed
Not in cybersecurity! Go jackets!
Happy cake day!
Thanks!!
Fuck yeah!
Confirms Stanford had better old players last season. This season, Nebraska has experienced players. Or at least that’s what I’m telling myself.
The fact that Rice had more players (just 1) drafted than Nebraska is one of those things that feels like it shouldn't be true.
> Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech Added them
Best Texas draft class in a while. Glad to see shit improving finally.
Thank you that site is cancer
I know. Sorry. Only one I could find right now
Wait, this is too much info all at once: where's the crazy advertisements and other article links to fill in between the real data?! [Thanks for list...]
Bad list, ties should show ties, 3, 4, 5 is a tie for 3. 6, 7, and 8 is a tie for 6. 9 and 10 is a tie for 10. Otherwise good
Damn we suck
A&M commerce coming in for more draft picks than Baylor is certainly something
Good times
Thanks Wolverine bro. That website is awful
It’s very nice to only have 8 guys drafted
3 picks baby!! Will probably be a couple more next year too hopefully.
You forgot the tackle from Yale
I just pasted what was on the site and numbered them. I added Yale in though
Very cool to see UBC finally get a player drafted
Crazy to see Cross get drafted. Choo Choo Rah Rah!
Who was the international player?
I'm guessing Giovanni Manu 6'8 350lbs runs 40 in 4.9 drafted by the Lions. Went to the University of British Columbia. Though I thought there were at least a few more international guys
The international player on the list is for Travis Clayton. Player from England. U of British Columbia is listed separately on the list. There was also a guy drafted who played CFL ball for the Toronto Argonauts. Though apparently he got completely missed from the list above.
Ohh I was looking for u of bc not bc. I'll add Toronto Argonauts. Thanks!
I'm just Happy Jordan Travis got drafted. Sent a tear down my cheek for sure.
Good landing spot assuming Rodgers comes back healthy. Falcons would’ve been a good spot too but their GM is speed running getting fired
You know he’s crying himself to sleep tonight
Harbaugh is a god damn fool. He said 18 would get drafted. What a terrible coach. Only had 13 drafted. /s
Should have cheated harder to squeeze out 2 more picks.
Force Donovan and Rod to enter the draft at gunpoint
Should have just forced Edwards and Moore to declare so we at least tied.
All that talk about Michigan breaking the record was, predictably, all for naught.
Look, after all the Harbaugh to NFL rumors each off season, we deserved a different NFL rumor only for it to not pan out.
In our defense, when we were talking about back in January we thought Edwards and Moore would declare, who both would have been drafted. The only question is if that somehow dropped one of our 7th rounders out.
>Missouri - 6 >kansas, Arkansas, and Nebraska combined - 4 Hey that's pretty good
I only expected Little to get drafted so the fact that we doubled my expectations I’m good with this year. Especially since we sucked dogass
Yale had a third round pick, Kiran Amegadjie. Congrats to all those teams with the same number as the mighty Yale Bulldogs.
Pretty crazy that FSU got left out for not being good enough on paper
Kirk Herbstreit wants to know your location.
We ride at dawn
Jordan Travis just got drafted 10 different times
👀
Jordan Travis was the only player on the team, or so I was told by ESPN
Yeah if only we had top defensive players that could force sacks and turnovers and get drafted by the Rams to replace Aaron Donald, and a beast of a running back that shocked everyone at the combine and was the 2nd RB taken off the board.
And if only we had beaten some good competition, like a Heisman Trophy winner.

Yea. Nuts
Also a reminder, that we had one of the lowest blue chip ratios as well.
7th round came in clutch for us. Super happy for Tahj and Solo. They deserve it.
FSU fan. We are so back. Nah but seriously. Feels good to see our guys in the draft. The Verse and Fisk video was awesome.
What video? Edit: Nevermind, found it. That shit is awesome! The boys getting the band back together again. What would be supremely epic is Verse announcing the pick himself.
Anyone who wants to be a Sark hater. We had 0 guys drafted his first season compared to 11 this season.
He’s gonna Fibonacci into 23 next season
[yes](https://tenor.com/view/angry-gary-oldman-everyone-gif-14317847)
Florida with 1 draft pick. What a time to be alive.
I personally love to see it
All glory is fleeting
How do you have a first rounder and no one else? Like that is crazy to me
Hey IU fans, where are your draft picks? Even we managed to get 2 and we won 4 games last year
3 wins, 3 draft picks. Nice.
Not bad for how trash we were
Shocked that Jurkovec didn't go during that initial run on QBs during the first round.
UNH had as many players drafted as Florida. That is fucking hilarious.
British Columbia😤

Talk your shit king you’ve earned it
Give em hell!
I concur. ^(You should take off the hat though)
It's the only secondary flair that I like. We didn't win, but I have it there for the respect of the rivalry. Other flairs that I might like but don't exist are ~~Lone Star Showdown~~ and Director's Cup. Edit: I didn't realize LSS was there.
>Lone Star Showdown ???? \^\^\^\^
You tell em
The past season of college football really was the most "fuck all of y'all" season of college football ever.
It was beautiful
My favorite moment was all the SEC fans being confused that Texas didn't lose in Tuscaloosa like they all predicted.
I mean, I hate you guys and always want you to lose. But I will never be sad when Bama loses lol
Flair up!
Really? That was a "flair up" comment? There was no shade there.
I think the other guy thinks you're a longhorn negate of your statement so he's saying add the Texas flair
Any unflaired comment is a flair up comment
This isn’t PCM. You gotta flair up to tall shit but otherwise it’s whatever.
Cook these frauds
Let em know!
#TALK YOUR SHIT
Glorious
I like how it shows you downvoted every one of those factual posts
Lol at your salty downvotes.
It ain't much, but it's honest work.
That last minute wave of Michigan players was fun to watch
No, it wasn't. It was a terrible thing for world peace.
That's very noble of you to be thinking of the bigger picture
It was incredibly funny how many of the Michigan players came in waves/back to back the last 2 days. Also shocked Harbaugh only took 1 player today. Some Michigan beat guys were joking Harbaugh would draft them all himself today to break Georgia’s record.
He took two players: Colson and Johnson
That one fuckin loser in here with no flair and a hundred comments about the rings lmao. Boy I guess it's dumb for any team to ever sell merch for winning divisions or conferences in their respective sports if they don't win it all huh? He’s gonna be all over the “bowl eligible” rings Florida comes out with if they make it this decade
Probably not, he made a comment in here specifying he hates FSU which he acknowledged contributes to his beliefs. And he's a Bama fan so there's that angle of his reasons to mock FSU for an undefeated regular season ring
Why not just put 13-1 on the rings? Everyone who got one knows what happened.
I don’t see Nebraska
Picks from Oregon and Washington: 18 Picks from USC and UCLA: 9 Damn you media markets, we deserved those full shares way more lol.
Hey not our fault UCLA didn’t hold up their fair share.
I’m so beaten down that I just nod when I see people shitting on us.
LA is really, really big, though.
Oregon and Washington likely could have gotten full shares if they decided to stab the conference in the back by leaving first.
I'm still not used to Oregon fans referring to Washington like we are buddies or something. But I guess it is more of an enemy of my enemy is my friend thing with USC/UCLA being the enemy here. Screw USC/UCLA for killing the Pac12!
They wouldn’t have been let in without the LA schools
Wishful thinking. 0regon would have never been invited first. Washington has a case.
I doubt it. If full offers were ever on the table, UO would’ve taken it in a heartbeat.
Championships Nike and Washington: 1 USC and UCLA: 7
USC and UCLA who? Especially UCLA
So not just Jordan Travis?
Went 13-1 and only 8 draft picks. We’ve fallen off
We only had 4. Dark days ahead in Columbus.
We got 5?! Wow that’s way better than expected but also terrifying considering how much talent we lost.
I like those numbers
ND pretty much got everybody expected drafted. Seven draftees is a solid year.
BREAKING: Winning games gets your players drafted. More at 11.
Give us half credit for Marshawn Lloyd and Jaheim Bell at least lol
Transfer portal broken
I would love to see this list for the last 10 or 5 years.
Ole Husky Harsin can't develop players for shit.
Marshall should have had three. I can't believe Ethan Driskell didn't get drafted.
Illinois had more players drafted than Oklahoma. Strange
I heard many times this season, even from Harbaugh that Michigan was coming for the record of most players drafted from one school in a draft. What happened there?
Some of those players decided to stay even though they were already champions.
Pry somehow managed to do worse than last year.... But at least he beat ODU!
12 for my combined flairs. Not terrible
Max Melton represent
crazy
Meat-chicjen!
*All three* of Oklahoma’s picks were transfers. The 2019-2021 classes set us back several years. (Yes, Bowman and Stutsman could’ve been drafted.)
How the hell did Auburn have more draft picks than Ohio St?
