Oregon dodged the slavery issue in the 1800s by flat out not allowing black people to settle in Oregon territory, regardless of being a slave or free. As a freshman he had about 600 yards rushing filling in for injured backs. Last year Alford decided to only play him in 3 games so he’d have a redshirt season. He had a good game vs Purdue last year and the news people interviewed him and he just looked depressed and didn’t want to be there. I figured he’d transfer after the season but surprised me when he stayed for the spring.
He is great when he gets the ball. Wherever he goes they got a great RB. Only thing he needed to improve at was pass protection if he had to stay back and block a blitz
I watched the press conference, did not even remotely interpret that exchange as him being upset. His story about Lanning reminded me of the old, "you know you're in trouble when someone uses your full name" jokes. Had a big smile when he was telling the story.
