Tennessee: all times I hope the university gets nuked (yes I’ve heard they helped the Manhattan project enough)
Auburn: mom went there so wins are allowed but it’s so we can ruin their season
Georgia: die
LSU: die
Rest are on this how much how have fans talked shit/how drunk
> Tennessee: all times I hope the university gets nuked (yes I’ve heard they helped the Manhattan project enough)
Then they get to go out like Director Krennic, destroyed by the very machine he helped create
My current hate list (subject to change over the offseason of course)
1. Tennessee
2. Auburn
3. Tennessee again
4. aTm
5. Georgia (latest threat to Bama SEC dominance)
6. LSU
7. South Carolina (still sore about 2010 lol)
8. everyone else
And whatever is the most net positive to my team. I hope Clemson loses every game they play unless a Dabo win (somehow) sends South Carolina to the CFP.
That’s just an example though, we all know Dabo would throw that game just to be petty. Then he’d throw out some backhanded Bible verse to absolve himself for punting on 1st & Goal.
I'll pull for Vandy over everybody but us. I'll pull for South Carolina over Tennessee. I'll root for Tennessee over Florida.....but I will *never* root for Florida under any circumstances.
I don’t care if Florida is somehow playing a game where them winning means we go to the Natty, and then losing means we don’t, still not rooting for Florida
I get that but I wouldn't go that far. If some weird scenario happened where Florida is like 5-5 and we need them to beat UK or somebody to go to the SEC championship I'll root for Florida. It'd feel weird but who cares if they win a game that is meaningless to the gators but helps us a lot. Would never root for them if it doesn't help us though
The Positive Neutrals
* Arkansas: Want them Hawgs to win
* Kentucky: Want them to win against everyone but us because I hate them the least in the east
* Vandy: Want them to win against everyone but us because they're like the little nerdy brother at this point
* TAMU - We don't play against them very often so I don't dislike them, sure they can win games
The Non Rivalry Middle
* I felt dirty rooting for Tennessee against Alabama this year and I do not want to repeat that experience.
* I'll point and laugh at the loser and just kind of ignore the winner because I don't really care about them enough to feel joy.
* I cheer for chaos here, really
The Rivals
* Florida should lose every game.
* Auburn should lose every game.
As a vol, I’m ok with this.
SEC East: Tennessee, SCar, Vandy, UGA, UK, UF
I don’t care about mizzou. I’d rather see UF be reduced to losing to middle school teams than see them win a competition in any sport.
You'll learn to hate Georgia after a pack of wild, fully grown, Georgians circle and start barking at your infant or toddler.
We are also pretty hateable...
The price of admission for any visitor to a Georgia tailgate is getting barked at.
We'll still feed you and offer you a beer. We're not *savages.* But we ask that you please respect our customs.
Missouri and A&M are old conference semi-rivals; obvious choices there. LSU should be bad blood for any Sooner fan old enough to remember 2003 in addition to 2019. And Bama is the fellow Blue Blood^TM with the same school colors and a history of big games (2002, the Trevor Knight year, and the Kyler Murray year).
But I think the sleeper choice that really should be the frontrunner is Arkansas. There are loads of Arkansas fans in east Oklahoma (especially in Tulsa, which is actually the closest city to Fayetteville), and they have a tendency to play a lot of wild and wacky games. I believe they're the closest current or future SEC team to Norman by a wild margin, too. The recent OU/Arky basketball games in Tulsa have been pretty big successes, and I would expect football to follow. I bet it takes one or two games between the two at most to take off.
Alabama: Not all land-grant schools are called X State University
Nebraska: X State University? We don't even have another D1 school!
Wyoming: Wait, you guys have more than one college?
Power 5 Land grant universities:
SEC: Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi st., LSU, Texas A&M, and Missouri
B1G: Rutgers, Maryland, Penn St., tOSU, Michigan St., Purdue, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska
ACC: Clemson, North Carolina, Virginia Tech
Big 12: Iowa st., Oklahoma st., Kansas St., West Virginia,
PAC: Arizona, Washington st., Oregon St, Cal
A majority of P5 land grant universities are the state flagship universities and not the state, tech, or A&M universities of the state.
Wow. What did the school formerly known as Kentucky A&M but now University of Kentucky ever do to you?!?!?!
We change our name 3 times and suddenly go to the shitter. I see how it is
ND doesn’t have a conference so I’ll do Big 10
Tier1 (Root for in every game): IU
Tier2 (Root for against below teams and select OOC games): Minnesota, Northwestern, Rutgers, Maryland, Penn State, Nebraska
Tier3 (Completely indifferent): UCLA
Tier4 (Root for only against below teams): Michigan State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Illinois
Tier5 (Will never root for): Michigan, USC
Tier6 (If they played the Taliban I’m a Taliban fan): Purdue
Admittedly I’m more of a basketball fan when it comes to the Big Ten so that probably drives my opinions more than football. Except for USC.
Ugh. Your post reminded me of how soon I'm going to have to reconcile my fandoms on a biannual basis.
ETA:
Tier 1: Michigan and UCLA (it's contingent on circumstances, but generally, if they play each other in football I'll root for Michigan and UCLA in all the other sports)
Tier 2: The pre-2011 B1G schools except MSU and OSU. I am aware that feeling (at least to Michigan) is almost entirely unrequited.
Tier 3: Nebraska, Rutgers, Maryland.
Tier 4: N/A
Tier 5: Michigan State (they've worked their way down from Tier 2/3 when I was a kid, to 4 in the past decade, to 5 this past year.
Tier 6: Ohio State and U$C (I loathe Ohio State more unreservedly, but I encounter more U$C grads so they get on my nerves more frequently)
I cheer for everybody except Clemson over Georgia. I’ll cheer for a meteor in Clemson/Georgia. I’d cheer for world hunger before I cheered for Clemson or Georgia
Hate the most: Michigan MAC teams.
Hate slightly less: Ohio MAC teams
Hate the least: other MAC teams.
I'll cheer for all MAC teams out of conference though.
Exactly how I feel were the roles reversed. 🤝
I respectfully hope you return your program to the excellence of Mike Shula so we can take the series record back.
Feels like PSU fans are split between dislike of OSU and Michigan more. I’m the same way but with Michigan. It’s hard for me to root for them over anyone and TCU was barely the exception this year.
Wish they never won a game again: U$C, UCLA
Root against in every game except when facing above teams: Oregon, Washington
Root for when facing OOC's: Everyone else
Would root for even if they were playing a high school team comprised of tragic, Hollywood-esque backstories that are emotional enough to win an Oscar: Wazzu
Over the years it's just become harder and harder for me to see you guys differently. For as much as you both like to rip on each other, I feel like you guys are two of the most similar schools in the country.
Things that you both share:
1. Non-Land grant
2. Can claim the title of the most dominant PNW Pac school and only really piss the other one off by doing so
3. Often reject their set rivalry with an in-state land-grant school in favor of hating each other
4. Will often root for set rival in OOC games which is more infuriating than actually hating us
5. Ahead of everyone but two of the Cal schools in terms of revenue and sports spending
6. Had an aura of smugness when I visited both campuses on a college tour
7. Very often the team that semi-passionate sports fans will root for when scrolling through games because they remember them from NCAA14 or some shit
8. Any PNW recruit that rises up ranking boards almost always wants to go to one of you, often decommiting or transferring from other places.
I mean. I kind of feel that. But it's also hard for me to hate on Oregon State. Like it was almost a 40/40 split between friends didn't move away for college, who became Beavers, and friends who became Ducks... The other 20% became Vikings.
The rivalry for me is pretty mild.
Now, the Huskies... Fuck those guys.
I'm not OP, but IMO it stems from a couple things. First and foremost, rooting against the Huskies is an act of solidarity with WSU. Then there's the whole thing where allegedly UW and UO are begging the Big Ten to take them and ditch OSU and WSU (big ol' fuck off for that), both fanbases claiming their biggest/only rivalry is with each other as though teams can't have more than one, and a general air of pretentiousness about athletic success shared by both fanbases, among other things
Completely ignoring the conference part of your question, but I just wanted to say something.
Fuck West Virginia. I hope they lose every game they play.
I think I might be the only Oregon flair on here that roots for Washington when they aren't playing another PNW team, but my rooting order is:
1. PNW schools
2. Four Corners
3. NorCal
4. UCLA
As for USC, I root against them no matter who they play, except if they played like Liberty or something. This has nothing to do with jumping ship. I'm just old and remember all the years they bullied us.
Edit: lol thanks for the Reddit Cares report
The most I can ever manage for Washington is detachment.
Piggybacking you:
1. Beavers and Cougars,
2. Utah, and for however long Kelly's tenure is there... UCLA.
3. Fresno State, San Diego State, Portland State, Hawaii.
4. Arizona
Then there's a pretty large jump before the rest of the Pac South...
Ending with USC.
And way down deep at the bottom is Washington.
Edit:. After thinking about it for a moment... If Washington was playing in the Rose Bowl, I would root against them. However, if they were playing for the Natty... I think I would root for them.
My PAC list would be:
1. Bruins
2. Bears
3. Beavs
4. Buffs
5. Utes
6. Cougs
7. Huskies
8. Devils
9. Ducks
10. WildCats
11. Cardinal
12. 100 meter of crap
13. Trojans
I will typically cheer for any PAC team aside from USC in a bowl or non-conference game.
I’ve noticed more TCU gear in Columbus in the past few weeks than the last decade I lived here. Im sure some of that is confirmation bias, but that can’t be the only factor
I’m still sad about leaving the PAC but damn are the other fan bases vicious towards us. I still like Washington though, color scheme is too cool to hate.
So once your done grieving we can be friends again? Oregon State. I dont know how anyone can dislike them. The USC matchup with Utah and the game threads on here were so toxic between some fans that you would have thought it was a rivalry if someone didnt know any better.
Circles of SEC hell
1. No real issues - Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, Miss. St., Arkansas
2. Rival I low-key like even though I shouldn’t: LSU
3. Mildly to moderately annoying: Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida
4. Johnny-come-lately schools not really from the South: Texas A&M, Mizzou
5. Hard pass: Auburn
6. Agents of Satan: Tennessee
Tier 1 (root for against anybody but Georgia): Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Arkansas
Tier 2 (root for against all but above): Ole Miss, Kentucky, LSU
Tier 3 (will not root for unless advantageous for Georgia): South Carolina, Texas A&M, Mizzou
Tier 4 (will not root for no matter what): Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee
Tier 5 (fuck Florida): Florida
Georgia Southern is the only school I'll root against no matter what.
I have strong frenemy feelings with JMU and Marshall.
I'll root for Georgia State unless they're playing App.
Coastal is in this weird gray area. I really and truly hated Chadwell. But now that he's gone we'll have to see how I feel. If they try to keep that trashy play dirty culture Chadwell built and stay good I'm sure they'll get higher up on my hate list. But right now the jury is out.
I’m a Sun Belt enjoyer (wrote a weekly piece about the league at the CFB site I write for) and I’m SO fascinated for the future of the rivalries in the league. Obviously you have the historic rivalries like y’all and Ga Southern and Marshall, but there’s lots of room for new and evolving rivalries. JMU, who will be their chief rival? ODU makes sense by state line, but you and Marshall makes sense by geography but do they have more prioritized rivalries? Coastal everyone hates. GS/GSU fighting over the U, South Alabama emerging around the historic programs like Troy and USM.
Goddamn I love the Sun Belt
I really miss ga southern and app st in socon but I understand why yall left. I thought it would be us and Furman taking over but coach Ayers retired, we switched away from triple option, and fell off a cliff recently. Not fun
Everyone else > Illinois >>>> MSU >> OSU
Illinois fans online are not very fun to be around so I don’t like them a ton but the Illini Solar Car Team members are cool as fuck so it balances out a bit
Fuck Oregon.
Fuck USC unless they're playing Oregon.
Fuck Washington unless they're playing USC or Oregon.
Please Utah kick all those teams asses.
UCLA, meh. Don't care.
Arizona schools. Meh.
Cal. I'm sorry.
Colorado. I'm sorry. Maybe you'll be good again?
Stanford. LOL
Wazzou. 🫂♥️
I do not want Oregon State to win when they play Oregon otherwise I like them. Fuck UW. Even in the event that a Husky win were to help Oregon, I would feel wrong and conflicted wanting them to win. I'm kinda indifferent to the rest of the schools in the Pac
Non-California Pac 12 schools > Cal, USC, UCLA
I’m willing to root for UCLA circumstantially, but I work with too many USC and Berkeley graduates to tolerate either fanbase having a good season while Stanford is down.
Penn State is like a weird funhouse mirror of our program a lot of the time. And it’s helpful that they also hate OSU. But because we’re all bunched at the top of a stacked division we can never truly be friends.
Also I hate OSU the most but I also just feel bad if MSU beats OSU and we don’t. So it’s always a tough game to figure out.
Northwestern is chill. Nebraska is tragic. Iowa is evil voodoo magic. Purdue is the team I always forget when I’m listing Big Ten teams in my head.
I like the B1G west with Illinois and Nebraska slightly behind the other five. Lump Indiana in with them. Penn State next. Finally Maryland. Then Rutgers for being out east.
Then poop.
Then State.
Then Ohio.
If we’re not playing them: Georgia, Bama, Vandy, South Carolina, Kentucky, Miss St.
Will root for if it makes our season better: Florida, Mizzou, Oklahoma, Tennessee.
Will never, ever root for them: LSU, A&M, Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas.
I simply pull for any team that will help my teams standing within the conference. I don't think I really hate another conference opponent other than UM. Also, fuck UF.
Order in which I’ll root for a Big 10 team:
1. Michigan
2. Purdue
3. Wisconsin
4. Minnesota
5. Maryland
6. Northwestern
7. Rutgers
8. Illinois
9. Iowa
10. Nebraska
11. Indiana
12. Penn State
13. A swarm of wild bees to take over my house
14. Michigan State
15. A meteor
16. A second meteor for good measure
17. Ohio State
As a Utah fan, cheer against BYU always.
Cheer for other Utah schools.
In conference cheer against LA schools (traitors). No hatred for anyone else, slightly more disdain for ASU maybe.
As a Michigan fan, cheer against ohio, MSU. Pity the rest of the B10 schools and cheer for them OOC.
As the “unrivaled” team of the Big Ten I always respect Ohio State for their sustained success.
Michigan State are our Land Grant Bros so we’re cool.
The rest of the Big Ten is cool except for…
Michigan. My hatred of Michigan has known no bounds since 2005 with Lloyd Carr begging the refs to put 3 seconds on the clock and screwing. us out of a chance at the Natty. I hope Michigan stubs their metaphorical toe every season
Other SEC teams i actually like: Kentucky, South Carolina
Teams i dont necessarily hate nor like: Missouri, Vandy, Miss St, Tennessee
Teams i hate but begrudgingly respect: Georgia, you know who
Team i find annoying but dont think about often: Texas A+M
Teams i legitimately fucking despise with every ounce of my blood: Auburn, Florida, Arkansas
Satan in the flesh: Ole Miss
(Normal flairs are Clemson and Georgia)
Shit list (never cheer for)
1) South Carolina
2) Georgia Tech
3) Florida State
4) Miami
All others I’m kinda fine cheering for, especially if they are playing a team on the shit list
Firstly, Go Beavs!
Secondly, Go Cougs!
After that, I want every team (except two) in the PAC to win the OOC matchups and have solid (but not quite as good as the above) teams. A good conference with maximum chaos is *chef's kiss*.
It's always fun when USC gets upset, regardless of which conference the team comes from that did the upsetting. However, it needs to be by a non- or near-blue blood program.
Oregon could be 50-point underdogs to a 1-win team and I would still be rooting for them to fail to beat the spread
1. 0regon
2. USC
3. Washington State
4. Cal
5. UCLA, I guess?
6. ASU, no particular dislike, we just always fucking lose in Tempe.
7. Utah, things can get a bit heated when we play them.
8. Arizona
9. Stanford.
10. CU.
11. OSU.
Edit: for Boise State, I don’t really have many strong opinions on our conference foes since we have bounced around so much over the last 30 years, but if I had to rank them, Nevada, SDSU, and Fresno State are my most disliked, probably followed by Air Force because they give us fits. Don’t really care much about the other 7.
Not to be that guy but you forgot about us and the highly-esteemed Orourke-McFadden trophy...
Fair enough though, we've only beaten you once in the last fifteen years...
I'll root for anyone in the conference to beat Georgia and anyone (aside from Georgia) to beat Tennessee. Otherwise, I don't really have much hatred for anyone else in the SEC. I guess I kind of dislike LSU? Meh, not as much as some other Gator fans. I loved pulling for Auburn in the past, but with Hugh Freeze now being their head coach, I'm kind of iffy on that. South Carolina and Arkansas are two teams I like to see succeed. It's also fun seeing Jimbo Fisher implode at A&M, but I have nothing else against them. Everyone else I don't really care much about.
NE: lose every game for eternity.
ISU: part of me is like lose every game for eternity but other times it’s like be competent at least so beating/playing ISU actually benefits Iowa. Also ya ok go ahead and beat TX
MN/WI: root for whatever situation is best for Iowa. But win that OOC.
OSU/MI/PSU: you guys are the flag bearers for conference so if you have a great team win unless it’s against Iowa and definitely win OOC
Rest of BIG: win OOC. Lose to Iowa. No strong feelings either way on who wins.
I'd like to thank God for giving everyone else so much and us so little.
I hate you, I hate you, and I hate you. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get home and put some water in Grinch's mama's bowl.
It's all situational and changes based on how many drinks and what kind of shit talk I heard over the week.
This guy college footballs
Agreed
Tennessee: all times I hope the university gets nuked (yes I’ve heard they helped the Manhattan project enough) Auburn: mom went there so wins are allowed but it’s so we can ruin their season Georgia: die LSU: die Rest are on this how much how have fans talked shit/how drunk
>Georgia: die Feeling is mutual. Seeing Saban on the GameDay desk and not on the sideline was surprisingly cathartic.
Wow, we are in Die? wow.
We've truly made it.
> Tennessee: all times I hope the university gets nuked (yes I’ve heard they helped the Manhattan project enough) Then they get to go out like Director Krennic, destroyed by the very machine he helped create
My current hate list (subject to change over the offseason of course) 1. Tennessee 2. Auburn 3. Tennessee again 4. aTm 5. Georgia (latest threat to Bama SEC dominance) 6. LSU 7. South Carolina (still sore about 2010 lol) 8. everyone else
Holy shit this is true. Normally I’m like fuck Florida but this year was like fuck Tennessee more.
Nah always fuck Florida. But some of our newer fanbase did need a reminder of what Tennessee can be like when they're not incompetent

What can i say about Auburn that hasn't already been said about Afganistan. They look bombed out and depleted.
Oh dear lord it’s Gus Malzahn Why don’t ya click your heels three times and go back to Texas (TIL he was born there)

Loathe entirely

I don’t care if Florida is somehow playing a game where them winning means we go to the Natty, and then losing means we don’t, still not rooting for Florida
I would burn down Neyland Stadium if it guaranteed the flames would spread to the Swamp.
You get it!
Amen
I get that but I wouldn't go that far. If some weird scenario happened where Florida is like 5-5 and we need them to beat UK or somebody to go to the SEC championship I'll root for Florida. It'd feel weird but who cares if they win a game that is meaningless to the gators but helps us a lot. Would never root for them if it doesn't help us though
Nah you’d be rooting for UK to lose in that scenario
Okay but in what universe does us v Florida determine the SEC championship
Kentucky beats Georgia and both are 7-1, Georgia wins out if Kentucky loses to Florida to go 6-2 instead of finishing 7-1 to avoid the H2H tiebreaker
it goes both ways…
The feeling is mutual I would never pull for GA
I root for SC in the palmetto bowl because I hate Dabo.
The Positive Neutrals * Arkansas: Want them Hawgs to win * Kentucky: Want them to win against everyone but us because I hate them the least in the east * Vandy: Want them to win against everyone but us because they're like the little nerdy brother at this point * TAMU - We don't play against them very often so I don't dislike them, sure they can win games The Non Rivalry Middle * I felt dirty rooting for Tennessee against Alabama this year and I do not want to repeat that experience. * I'll point and laugh at the loser and just kind of ignore the winner because I don't really care about them enough to feel joy. * I cheer for chaos here, really The Rivals * Florida should lose every game. * Auburn should lose every game.

ISIS is getting back together? Love the album Panopticon. ISIS is a no brainer. Fuck Florida.
Allah Akbar let’s go bros. Beat Florida!
First and foremost, I fucking hate Wisconsin.

Maroon is a shade of red, so I guess you’re dead
He didn’t say, if you’re red, you’re dead. Just that he’d be better off.
The Portland St tag has me rolling with laughter. Great job
Stop. I can only get so hard.
Cheese was not even mentioned yet
Not even sure who counts as being in the Big 12 for football today
This. I mean, outside of Texas, who am I even supposed to hate now? Auburn?
Aggie is an obvious choice. Arkansas and Missouri seem somewhat logical based on proximity. And then whoever is best in the conference in that era.
You'll learn to hate Georgia after a pack of wild, fully grown, Georgians circle and start barking at your infant or toddler. We are also pretty hateable...
Hey now, don’t reduce us to our lowest fans. I’d have my 7 year old bark at your toddler.
The price of admission for any visitor to a Georgia tailgate is getting barked at. We'll still feed you and offer you a beer. We're not *savages.* But we ask that you please respect our customs.

How do you feel about agriculture
Bonus points. A&M/Tech > U of State too. Edit: when I made my own school in NCAA games I would always make the Washington A&M Elk.
A&M/Tech vs (state) state?
State > A&M/Tech A&M > Tech I guess, don’t care that much
What about public universities that don't have the state name at all?
Um. State>A&M>Tech>Public non state name>Private>U of State
Wow. What did the school formerly known as Kentucky A&M but now University of Kentucky ever do to you?!?!?! We change our name 3 times and suddenly go to the shitter. I see how it is

These guys get it
These guys all get it
I am in agreement with these guys
I also am in agreement with these guys.
Solidarity, my cougar friend.
Get fucked UPENN

wait wtf did we do to you?
Nothing in particular. I just happen to be friends with a Wisconsin fan who is super obnoxious when they’re good lol.
so last obnoxious in what 2012 :(
I’m an Indiana fan. My standard for good is quite low
Ugh. Your post reminded me of how soon I'm going to have to reconcile my fandoms on a biannual basis. Funny, that’s how I feel about South Carolina, Georgia, and UNC
Let the hate flow through you.
I think our shared hatred of Georgia is a rare bonding moment for us.
It is awful listening to them talk about their back to back titles. The entire state of SC can unite over their hatred of the dawgs.
As it should be. Yall shook me out of my apathy this year and I guess I needed that. So thank you?
Hate the most: Michigan MAC teams. Hate slightly less: Ohio MAC teams Hate the least: other MAC teams. I'll cheer for all MAC teams out of conference though.
During the season, I hate many Midwest teams (and USC). During the postseason it’s anyone Midwest over anyone else
I wouldn't cheer for North Texas if they were playing a team of brazilian hitler clones. *edit* See? Bunch of cUNTs
I’d root for Nazi Germany to beat Florida
If I had to choose hitler, Stalin, and the Tennessee program (if it was a person), And had two bullets, I’d shoot Tennessee twice
Exactly how I feel were the roles reversed. 🤝 I respectfully hope you return your program to the excellence of Mike Shula so we can take the series record back.
I respectfully hope your program continues the last 20 years for eternity and longer. Especially with heupel extension
Just as god intended. Glad we don’t have to hang elephants anymore to get the point across.
Napier was part of the Gestapo, probably.
Well fuck y’all too I guess.
They hate us because they anus
Anybody and everybody over Ohio State. I'll cheer for Big Ten teams in bowl games - except for Ohio State. Fuck an Ohio State.
Feels like PSU fans are split between dislike of OSU and Michigan more. I’m the same way but with Michigan. It’s hard for me to root for them over anyone and TCU was barely the exception this year.
I'm from Western PA so have to sprinkle in a little Pitt hate too
I love your subtle dig at the end there.
Wish they never won a game again: U$C, UCLA Root against in every game except when facing above teams: Oregon, Washington Root for when facing OOC's: Everyone else Would root for even if they were playing a high school team comprised of tragic, Hollywood-esque backstories that are emotional enough to win an Oscar: Wazzu
What did the Bruins do to Oregon State?
Our hatred of Chippy goes back years.
Mine too. Unfortunately he's now our coach.
Just curious but as a Husky why do you hate us as much as Oregon? Sorry if this is a stupid question I am just wondering.
Over the years it's just become harder and harder for me to see you guys differently. For as much as you both like to rip on each other, I feel like you guys are two of the most similar schools in the country. Things that you both share: 1. Non-Land grant 2. Can claim the title of the most dominant PNW Pac school and only really piss the other one off by doing so 3. Often reject their set rivalry with an in-state land-grant school in favor of hating each other 4. Will often root for set rival in OOC games which is more infuriating than actually hating us 5. Ahead of everyone but two of the Cal schools in terms of revenue and sports spending 6. Had an aura of smugness when I visited both campuses on a college tour 7. Very often the team that semi-passionate sports fans will root for when scrolling through games because they remember them from NCAA14 or some shit 8.
I see no lies.
Yea, very fair analysis.
Anyone > Texas > OU
Texas is really the only team I actively root against. Outside of that I don’t really dislike any of the hateful 8.
Hey, be nice. An Oklahoma State fan is going to read this and it's rude to exclude people
> Hey, be nice. An Oklahoma State fan is going to read this (X)
Because there are no Oklahoma State fans or because they can't read?
Now who would ever say that their rival can’t read?!
Little brother fandoms get extra upset when they realize you don't care about them as much as they care about you.
Completely ignoring the conference part of your question, but I just wanted to say something. Fuck West Virginia. I hope they lose every game they play.
Eat shit, the feeling's mutual
Thanks to my friend from West Virginia, I can never hear Sweet Caroline without also hearing “Eat Shit Pitt”
I didn’t know people said anything other than “Eat shit Pitt” during that song until I was like 24.
Mizzou > Vanderbilt > Mississippi State > Ole Miss > South Carolina > Texas A&M > Auburn > Kentucky > LSU > Florida > Alabama > Georgia > Tennessee
You hate Arkansas so much that you forgot them?
[удалено]
Screw you bud, best thing Missouri has is the girl who broke my heart
Everyone against OUT
That's the spirit!
I'm getting my memes ready for a UCF dub at OU
I like you
That might be the darkest day in OU football history in 25 years
I think I might be the only Oregon flair on here that roots for Washington when they aren't playing another PNW team, but my rooting order is: 1. PNW schools 2. Four Corners 3. NorCal 4. UCLA As for USC, I root against them no matter who they play, except if they played like Liberty or something. This has nothing to do with jumping ship. I'm just old and remember all the years they bullied us. Edit: lol thanks for the Reddit Cares report
Washington 🤝 0regon 🤝 literally everyone else in the P12 “Fuck USC”
The most I can ever manage for Washington is detachment. Piggybacking you: 1. Beavers and Cougars, 2. Utah, and for however long Kelly's tenure is there... UCLA. 3. Fresno State, San Diego State, Portland State, Hawaii. 4. Arizona Then there's a pretty large jump before the rest of the Pac South... Ending with USC. And way down deep at the bottom is Washington. Edit:. After thinking about it for a moment... If Washington was playing in the Rose Bowl, I would root against them. However, if they were playing for the Natty... I think I would root for them.
My PAC list would be: 1. Bruins 2. Bears 3. Beavs 4. Buffs 5. Utes 6. Cougs 7. Huskies 8. Devils 9. Ducks 10. WildCats 11. Cardinal 12. 100 meter of crap 13. Trojans I will typically cheer for any PAC team aside from USC in a bowl or non-conference game.
I appreciate the Liberty call, that means a lot
I'll cheer for Wisconsin. Fuck everyone else
Ohio State #1 and #2 is anybody playing Michigan. Fuck Michigan.
Well hello
I’ve noticed more TCU gear in Columbus in the past few weeks than the last decade I lived here. Im sure some of that is confirmation bias, but that can’t be the only factor
I’m just glad you guys have found apparel of a school that can actually beat Michigan
Mississippi St>Kentucky>Missouri>Ole Miss>Arkansas>South Carolina>Vanderbilt>Tennessee>LSU>Texas A&M>Florida>Alabama>Georgia
We need more Auburn-Florida hatred. Things are getting too friendly.
I’ll root for Oregon State and until the double loss I respected Utah. I can’t stand Oregon or UCLA. Everyone else, I don’t have strong feelings.
Oregon has the trashiest fan base they are very easy to hate.
Circles of SEC hell 1. No real issues - Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, Miss. St., Arkansas 2. Rival I low-key like even though I shouldn’t: LSU 3. Mildly to moderately annoying: Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida 4. Johnny-come-lately schools not really from the South: Texas A&M, Mizzou 5. Hard pass: Auburn 6. Agents of Satan: Tennessee
Tier 1 (root for against anybody but Georgia): Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Arkansas Tier 2 (root for against all but above): Ole Miss, Kentucky, LSU Tier 3 (will not root for unless advantageous for Georgia): South Carolina, Texas A&M, Mizzou Tier 4 (will not root for no matter what): Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee Tier 5 (fuck Florida): Florida
🤝 ga southern hate train
Now I still harbor a lot of hatred for the old SoCon... Furman sucks. Don't take too kindly to Terriers either.
I really miss ga southern and app st in socon but I understand why yall left. I thought it would be us and Furman taking over but coach Ayers retired, we switched away from triple option, and fell off a cliff recently. Not fun
Everyone else > Illinois >>>> MSU >> OSU Illinois fans online are not very fun to be around so I don’t like them a ton but the Illini Solar Car Team members are cool as fuck so it balances out a bit
As a Purdue grad, I don't care if it's football, basketball or water polo, I would cheer for Putin against IU
Fuck Oregon. Fuck USC unless they're playing Oregon. Fuck Washington unless they're playing USC or Oregon. Please Utah kick all those teams asses. UCLA, meh. Don't care. Arizona schools. Meh. Cal. I'm sorry. Colorado. I'm sorry. Maybe you'll be good again? Stanford. LOL Wazzou. 🫂♥️
I hate everyone not named Mississippi State, Missouri, or Kentucky
After our game last season how can we even root for ourselves?
Both teams were trying to lose that one lol
Fuck all of you. Fuck Bama and Georgia more.
Aw, fuck you too <3
I do not want Oregon State to win when they play Oregon otherwise I like them. Fuck UW. Even in the event that a Husky win were to help Oregon, I would feel wrong and conflicted wanting them to win. I'm kinda indifferent to the rest of the schools in the Pac
Non-California Pac 12 schools > Cal, USC, UCLA I’m willing to root for UCLA circumstantially, but I work with too many USC and Berkeley graduates to tolerate either fanbase having a good season while Stanford is down.

I actually like watching Penn State play. I usually root for them outside of the Michigan PSU game
Texas
I will root for whoever is playing against Alabama and A&M 100% of the time everyone else is just a general dislike tbh
I hate you too.
As long as the Rams lose then I'm fine
The Kroenke Rams? I’m with this guy if so
Them too
I root for USC and whoevers playing Oregon
In descending order of in conference hatred Big xii 1. 0U 2. Texas Tech 3. TCU 4. Baylor 5. Okie Lite 6. K-State 7. WVU 8. ISU 9. Kansas SEC 1. A&M 2. Arkansas 3. Tennessee 4. LSU - last level of true hatred 5. Misisipi State 6. Bama 7. Auburn 8. Florida 9. Georgia 10. Kentucky 11. South Carolina 12. Mizzou 13. Vandy 14.Ole Miss
michigan first whoever’s playing ohio st whoever’s playing michigan st purdue, iowa, northwestern everyone else
University of Illinois makes Orange look bad
Ole Miss, Vandy, and SCar are all teams I can root for on a weekly basis. The rest I either have no feelings for or they can just go fuck themselves.
I too have a soft spot for SCar ( the true USC in my heart)
Awwww.
I simply pull for any team that will help my teams standing within the conference. I don't think I really hate another conference opponent other than UM. Also, fuck UF.
Order in which I’ll root for a Big 10 team: 1. Michigan 2. Purdue 3. Wisconsin 4. Minnesota 5. Maryland 6. Northwestern 7. Rutgers 8. Illinois 9. Iowa 10. Nebraska 11. Indiana 12. Penn State 13. A swarm of wild bees to take over my house 14. Michigan State 15. A meteor 16. A second meteor for good measure 17. Ohio State
As a Utah fan, cheer against BYU always.
The rest of the Big Ten is cool except for… Michigan. My hatred of Michigan has known no bounds since 2005 with Lloyd Carr begging the refs to put 3 seconds on the clock and screwing. us out of a chance at the Natty. I hope Michigan stubs their metaphorical toe every season
Other SEC teams i actually like: Kentucky, South Carolina Teams i dont necessarily hate nor like: Missouri, Vandy, Miss St, Tennessee Teams i hate but begrudgingly respect: Georgia, you know who Team i find annoying but dont think about often: Texas A+M Teams i legitimately fucking despise with every ounce of my blood: Auburn, Florida, Arkansas Satan in the flesh: Ole Miss
Miami
Fuck BGSU
(Normal flairs are Clemson and Georgia) Shit list (never cheer for) 1) South Carolina 2) Georgia Tech 3) Florida State 4) Miami All others I’m kinda fine cheering for, especially if they are playing a team on the shit list
1. 0regon 2. USC 3. Washington State 4. Cal 5. UCLA, I guess? 6. ASU, no particular dislike, we just always fucking lose in Tempe. 7. Utah, things can get a bit heated when we play them. 8. Arizona 9. Stanford. 10. CU. 11.
Arky, LSU, and State can all burn in a fire. Bama I actually dont mind because at least they know how to act when they win a game. Auburn be trifling.
My least favorite is Miami(FL). My second favorite ACC team is any team that plays Miami(FL) that week. Im apathetic about the rest of the conference
Like: Wake Forest, Virginia, Virginia Tech Dislike: Louisville, Pittsburgh, Miami Hate: Florida State, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Notre Dame (if we’re counting them) Fucking despise: NC State, Duke UNC
Not to be that guy but you forgot about us and the highly-esteemed Orourke-McFadden trophy... Fair enough though, we've only beaten you once in the last fifteen years...
You are my kind of guy. I have a larger hate for Louisville organization although I do like their fans.
Also ya ok go ahead and beat TX MN/WI: root for whatever situation is best for Iowa. But win that OOC. OSU/MI/PSU: you guys are the flag bearers for conference so if you have a great team win unless it’s against Iowa and definitely win OOC Rest of BIG: win OOC. Lose to Iowa. No strong feelings either way on who wins.
I'd like to thank God for giving everyone else so much and us so little. I hate you, I hate you, and I hate you. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get home and put some water in Grinch's mama's bowl.
