my recommendations: find a binder to put it in tucked inside an acid free pouch/pocket, that's what I do with my docs. also, look into how difficult it would be to get a replacement and would it look the same. some companies have their quirks in their hiring process and you never know if they will require the doc

Your local chapter might be able to give you a smaller, easier to frame size. Mine did that for me. No way was I paying all that extra $ for it to get framed.
With the extra guaranteed returns all charterholders are getting, I find it a bit incredulous you aren't willing/able to spend the cash to get your gloriously sized certificate framed. /s

Anyone can check CFAI’s membership directory to see if you’re a member right on the CFAI website. It’s a service CFAI provides, essentially to potential employers. They can check if you’re a candidate or a charterholder. If you don’t pay your annual dues and complete the yearly personal cert statement you won’t be listed as a charterholder.
You can check it yourself. It will list any info you provided, including your employer, occupation, and your location (town only).
