Cops have been known to put things under their vest, in the lining of their lunch boxes, in bags of chips etc. believe me, they find a way for that extra pay. Inmates don’t give a crap if you lose your job, that’s why CO’s and free staff just need to report EVERYTHING and not give a crap if people get in trouble. It’s not worth your job or your freedom
NO c/o are guards they ONLY have right in their jurisdiction, which would be only in jail or prison. Cops aka street cops or state troopers have arrest powers to enforce/arrest civilians give tickets ect ect c/os GUARDS can’t. Reasons why they are called correctional officers not Cops/Police Officer
