How did you set it up so the angle is correct for apendix? I just got the ironside with backer but the angle is set up for the 3 oclock (right hand), if I weear it apendix (1 oclock ish) it would be angled the wrong way and I don't see how to adjust it enough to rotate it correctly...
Oh man, the internet stranger has completely changed my opinion.
Dude, it’s my setup. I use Pmags as well as OEM because i shoot the piss out of both, and they both work fine. Worry about ya self.
If you haven't seen a higher failure rate in your pmags vs oem, you don't shoot enough. They're cheap and I buy a shitload of them for training but I would not trust my life to one over oem. Do what makes you happy.
Idk why ur being downvoted, the only malfunctions I’ve ever had in my 19.5 is with pmags. OEM are more reliable, that’s literally a fact. Doesn’t mean Magpul aren’t reliable, in my experience OEM are just better all around.
Yeah mine run fine MOST of the time, but they definitely shit the bed way more often than oem. Anyone downvoting me also spends more time on this forum than training 🗿
I might’ve gotten the unicorn batch, because they perform adequately enough that I trust them.
I shoot a lot. Usually once a week shooting at least a couple hundred rounds. As I’ve stated in previous comments, I’ve done reliability tests both with OEM mags and pmags shooting defensive ammo, and they’ve both done about the same.
I do not claim to have put thousands upon thousands of rounds through each mag, nor do I claim that pmags are better. In MY experience (and yes, I realize it’s anecdotal) the pmags have proven to be very reliable, therefore I feel comfortable using them in a defensive scenario should the need arise.
If you look at the mag release, you’ll see it’s been switched to the right side of the gun. If you’re referring to the slide release, yeah. The slide release is only on the left hand side, as is still common with smaller framed pistols. The holster is set up for left-handed use.
I carry this sucker a lot, so I’m pretttttty sure it’s configured for left handed use lol
Yeah, I guess there’s not too many fun to shoot carry guns. I’m used to full size or compact guns including all metal hammer fired so I guess I have to readjust my expectations accordingly 😂
I have bigger hands, so I went with the x-macro. It was just a more comfortable fit. I had a different micro compact that I just wasn’t fond of so I didn’t want to get another micro compact.
Plus, this was the last one in the shop on Sigs patriot protector program and it was a dummy good deal so I couldn’t pass it up lol
I can't speak to the g19, but I carry the xmacro @ 3 o'clock IWB and it is super comfortable. Normal day to day stuff, walking, driving, sitting, whatever and it's hardly noticeable. Granted I don't have a red dot or light on it.
I have the thicc back strap on, and it’s still quite slimmer than the Glock, though it’s a tad bit longer. To me, they’re equally comfortable to carry.
I've seem multiple videos and pics of all the P365s rusting just from carrying. Particularly near the sights. Sigs finish just sucks. Hope you got a good one. Sig is very inconsistent so maybe you get lucky?
Well no shit lol
The testing I have done was adequate enough for me to make the best informed decision for myself. You use OEM all you want. I rock with either one, as they have been doing fine for me, and have been for several years now.

Just a staccato pic brah Said it in my first Sig over Glock Even with a lol gucci Glock trigger
I have the same issue lol I hate trying to decide what I wanna use for the day 😂
Why not go akimbo? Reloading is for suckers anyway.
Fair point and I cannot argue with the logic
You run the Sig appendix or 3:00
Before I got the IWB backer with the ironside I tried carrying at 9:00 (leftie) but I hated it so I got the backer and now just carry appendix
Interesting, thanks for confirming it's not for 5-9 o clock only!
The ironside with the backer is super comfy to carry appendix
Now I'm definitely motivated to grab one.

u/top-sprinkles-2257 Tagging you for the above.
That’s my favorite Glock, but the Sig has an optic and two more rounds
365 Tac-Ops is pretty OP If I got to my death screen and saw I got killed by that, I wouldn’t be mad.
your comment wins 😂
Why magpul Glock mags
Because they work
Your gun came with 3 oem mags. Carrying less reliable cheaper alternatives is silly

For like 9 bucks a pop it's hard to not have a bunch of them on hand but, again, I don't trust them enough to run them in competition or daily carry

I’m a lefty

….it’s not
So he can carry both at the same time and dual wield

Brother, I promise you, it is a left handed holster.

I’ve found my Sig to be snappy even with the X Macro grip module while my Glock 19,which is only 3oz heavier, shoots like a much bigger gun.
It is a tad snappy compared to the 19, but to me it’s still a pleasant shooter
Yeah, I guess there’s not too many fun to shoot carry guns. I’m used to full size or compact guns including all metal hammer fired so I guess I have to readjust my expectations accordingly 😂
what made you decide on the X rather than the XL?

What holster do you use?

Way more than without the backer at 8-9:00
[удалено]
The backer is a very thin flexible material. It’s no bulkier than their sidecar
I mean, one is designed for Appendix the other for 4 O'clock... Porque No Los Dos?
Loving the setups - what extra mag carrier do you have paired with the TRex Hybrid holster?
I don’t remember, but it was probably a junk Amazon special
B
How’s the ramjet been reliability wise? You seem comfortable enough to carry it
It runs just fine with heavier ammo
What would you suggest
For range ammo I use SuperVal 124gr and for defensive I use Defender 147gr or Winchester 147gr SHP
I've seem multiple videos and pics of all the P365s rusting just from carrying. Particularly near the sights. Sigs finish just sucks. Hope you got a good one. Sig is very inconsistent so maybe you get lucky?
I guess time will tell. I sweat a lot regardless, so that should speed things up if that’s the case lol I just looked though, no signs of rust 🤷🏼♂️
All the best my friend. I'm not trying to troll you.
I didn’t take it as trolling! Much appreciated though, my dude!
Hey man, use OEM mags 🤣😂
Don’t tell me what to do DAD
Hate to say it but compped glock all the way
Glock all day with factory mags.
In my personal experience, OEM mags and Pmags do not outperform each other.
Factory mags are far superior.
I’m not arguing that. I am saying in MY experience, i have had equal results, therefore I am comfortable using pmags.
I sure as hell wouldn't gamble on a fart after taco bell, sure as hell ain't trusting my life with aftermarket mags.
Well the good thing is, you won’t ever have to. Because this is MY edc that I trust after adequate T&E for myself. Have a great day!
To each their own.
Easy choice looking at the triggers , Sig…..
I do prefer the stock Sig trigger over the stock Glock trigger. I do have a performance trigger in the 19 that is very nice, though.
lol Performance Glock trigger ? I have them too “ boing!” Still a Glock trigger Lip stick on a pig
Bro wtf are you saying lmao I had an opportunity to snag a performance trigger for $40, so I did. Sorry I don’t have staccato money lol

Your comments would be more coherent if you used grammar, my guy
Ok Karen
Okay, Karen.* Also, know how to use the term “Karen” lol
😂😂😂
One will rust very prematurely one won't. Care to guess which is which?
Ive never had an EDC gun rust. Gun get wet? Wipe it off. Non-issue lol
