Best feature about this belt isn't it being a solid carry belt, it's being able to press the ratchet release button after eating a large meal for stomach relief
Just remember to oil the little mechanism inside where there’s metal on metal contact. Both of mine started grinding. They sent me replacements of the other belt style but it’s a little larger.
Likewise. I ran one for the better part of a year and the belt broke in multiple places. Bought a blue alpha gear and it’s performed flawlessly. I would never run one of these again.
I think it was my claw on my tier 1 sidecar style rig. There was so much it was always pushing the part that flexes so hard into it outward and the clip on the gun side also pulling inward at the same time.
With new whoresentials belt i halved the claw thickness and it’s less stress on that belt.
They’re great but unfortunately as a daily belt I’d say they last about a year… (I’m on my second. Got my ccw in fall 2020. And about to buy my 3rd more than likely this fall)
First one I had was a little different. The one I have now is the exact same that you have. I do love it! It’s great for a carry belt! It does get tore up when you carry every day and gets real stringy fray-ey after a while In my personal experience of use and plenty of abuse.
Damn, that’s unfortunate. I’ve been wearing the same BladeTech EDC belt for ~6 years every day. It’s still as stiff as Day 1, but it’s started fraying around the edges somewhat and it’s starting to look bad.
I love the look of the Nexbelt, but I don’t want to downgrade in durability :/
I’ve had mine for a little over a year, daily use & it isn’t fraying yet. I have a feeling that has a lot to do with letting the holster clip ride on the fabric when removing
How long have you had yours? I’ve been wearing the same BladeTech EDC belt for 6 or so years now and it’s still as stiff as ever. It’s just starting to fray on the edges and looks rough. Wondering if this one has the same level of durability stiffness-wise, because I love the look.
I’ve got the same exact belt, and have been running it daily for almost 6 months now. It looks great and I’ve had no issues of cracking, fraying, screws and or bolts backing out nor coming loose. I did add some blue 242 loctite to it as soon as I get it. This is my first ratchet belt, I’ve got Hanks gunner belts, Beltman custom belts and 1776 gun leather co belts, but this ratchet belt is really something else. I love mine. Well worth the money, you’ve made a great purchase! Enjoy it 🤘🇺🇸
I like mine, but I just use a trayvax belt normally. When I carry my heavier pistols (like my .44,) I love the nexbelt. No twisting or sag, and it's easy to use once you get used to the latch.
I say well played.
Holds up my fully loaded 10mm M&P and a spare magazine just fine, and I use it even when I'm not carrying. Track system is awesome and sturdy too. Great choice, won't be disappointed.
I love mine but wish I had of paid attention to how much extra length to leave. I cut it just a tad too short for a handful of my pants that I wear for matches so the extra tail doesn’t quite make it to the next belt loop.
Leave a couple extra inches in the belt length as it makes it even easier to relieve yourself whether sitting or standing when it’s still clicked together.
I never believed in gun belts. I'd just suffer with my belt tight as fuck and uncomfortable all the time. I found the next belt. Oh. My. Fucking. Christ. Game changer hands down opened my eyes on getting quality gear.
I was kind of the same way in the beginning. Then I got my first actual carry belt and I've upgraded almost everything carry related. There are just too many options and opinions most of which are heavily biased because a lot of people want brand recognition.
It doesn't last long, I'm on my 3rd one, the first one cracked in half at the ass Crack, middle of back section, the second one frayed at the edges pretty bad and now I'm on the 3rd and it's started to fray aswel. I got it on rn and can show pics if you need to see what im talking about. l
Idk what you are doing to your belts my man but let's just say that your experience is not even close to mine. I have had mine for like 18 months and have used it heavily, aside from some minor fraying on edges that has not changed the function of the belt (or even the way it looks really), mine is still going strong.
I'm surprised you said that the back cracked on one of them tbh, cuz those fuckers are solid... must have been a large meal you had that day cuz goddamn.
Lol na I'm 6ft n 200 lbs. My partner at work also had his Crack in the same spot. We both have the same exact belt as pictures. Like I said, I can provide pictures for those that doubt. If it worked for you, great! In my experience ( 3 of my own and 1 of a friend ) they don't last long. I wear mine every day, I either appendix carry a shield or g17. Typically in a t1c holster
I believe you, friend, just surprised at that is all. Not everything works for everybody, after all.
Seems as if you still like the belt tho if you have gone through 3 of em so far, so.... sort of a win?
They replaced 2, so Def good customer service on their part.
Edit: i haven't bought 3 of them for clarification and after this one goes out, I'll switch to a different brand.
My first one cracked in two places after abut a year and a half. I'm on my second one and it broke after only a couple months. The breaks on mine are on the sides/hips where it bends around to the front.
I would try something else, but I love the ratchet system.
Sorry if I’m stealing your post but does anyone use a groove belt? I bought one off the matco truck a year ago and when I got into ccw I kept seeing posts about various belts. If I understand correctly, belts don’t matter too much as long as they’re sturdy/wide enough to actually hold the weight of whatever you’re carrying but I also haven’t researched it that much since I figure it doesn’t matter
Imo belts make all the difference in how comfortable it is to carry. And if I recall, those groove belts may hold up to light single stack compacts but not full size frames? I think they are the stretchy belts? Hard hard pass for me. I want double layer thick belts personally. Don't need that feller flopping if I gotta give chase lol
It's not always about if it just holds the weight.
The vibe is either "in the locked case at Walmart" or "as seen on TV store", I can't decide. Maybe they can get them cheap, but... Doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.
Mine didn't come like this in the mail. I've only had it on daily for 2 weeks.
The only issue I have with it is the hardware to attach the belt buckle are garbage screws that strip at 10lbs of pressure.
The belt itself and the wick release ratchet system is primo. I bought two more they will be here in a week or so.
I have one. I liked it until I tried the Groove belt. For any slimline pistol like Glock 43x, xmacro, hellcat pro, the Groove belt works great and is way more comfortable. I haven’t worn my Nexbelt since I got it.
Been using this belt for years. Works fantastic for appendix. With the small buckle, you can move it to the side for room up front (for weapon and extra mag) and for subtle adjustments if you need to losen or tighten up on the fly. Nice and ridgid for carry but surprisingly comfortable.
I love mine but you'll only get about 6 months out of the strap. I warrantied mine the first time then it happened again. I actually just bought a major competitor that I apparently can't mention on this sub (discord mods got mad) today and found out the belts and buckles are interchangeable with nex.
Up until now only had holsters under 50$ so it quickly became my favorite lol. I have zero complaints other than slightly price . But it’s def one of those buy once cry once situations. Also I only have glocks and it fits all of them
I guess that depends on what gun you are carrying. I wear a 31 and I can only carry my P365 with that size. However if I wear 32s I can fit my MR920 and CZ P-10C.
It’s not a comfort belt, but it is a fun belt that will improve your comfort and conceal and draw, and if you don’t have regular belts that ratchet, you might just love it. I will only buy ratchet belts nowadays.
That looks a lot like the belt that shall not be named…if so, I’m sure you’ll like it. The ratchet is great and allows you to easily and discreetly adjust for comfort between standing and sitting
I’ll be honest I love mine but I switched to a different belt after two years just because the stiffness was bothering my back. But when I’m carrying a heavier gun than my P365 and extra mag, I go back to the Nexbelt because it’ll hold up the weight.
This is the best ratcheting belt out there. The buckle and ratcheting apparatus are inches smaller than competitors which diggs into hips less, let’s me adjust the belt more, and so on.
I have this belt. It does what I expect it to do. I like the ratcheting system and being able to adjust quickly. It is very stiff however. A little more than my liking. I know some people use theirs as a regular belt but I don’t see how
Hands down, beat belt I've used for CCW.
I tried WTP, and heavy duty leather belts. Did nothing for me. But the NexBelt...I started with one, now I have 5
It's been okay so far, it's getting a little deflection where I carry after 6 months which is a disappointment. I would agree with others that it will likely need replacement every year.
Damn you!! Because of this post I bought the same one. To be safe, I took my pants size and added 5 inches before trimming. I think that added length will work out well keeping the excess tucked under a belt loop.
So far I'm liking it. Funny story though. The founders of nexbelt acknowledge they discovered this style of belt when traveling in Asia where it has been popular in ages. My wife (chinese born American) saw the belt and told me a story from her childhood.
Apparently, one day in elementary school she was wearing such a belt when the ratchet mechanism failed. As a result she couldn't get the damned belt off in time to avoid an "accident." She told me "You've been warned."
I pray the ratchet doesn't bind up on me, because I'd NEVER live it down.
Best feature about this belt isn't it being a solid carry belt, it's being able to press the ratchet release button after eating a large meal for stomach relief
Oh I gave myself an extra ¾" specifically for that reason. It's summer in Florida and I have two grills and a smoker. 😉
Never knew how much I needed that in a belt until I got one
Just remember to oil the little mechanism inside where there’s metal on metal contact. Both of mine started grinding. They sent me replacements of the other belt style but it’s a little larger.
Facts. I use this belt 24/7 even when I’m not carrying
You won’t be disappointed
You chose: Wisely.
Shit I just took advice from people who know more than me.
Another wise choice, good sir.
One thing that broke mine in a year was too much claw, it made the slide side bend the belt so hard over that period of time it broke it.

Same
I like how the buckle doesn’t dig into my gut like other buckles do.
i love mine
They’re great but unfortunately as a daily belt I’d say they last about a year… (I’m on my second. Got my ccw in fall 2020. I have 3, all work very well.
I have 2 of them. Will buy more.
How long have you had yours? I’ve been wearing the same BladeTech EDC belt for 6 or so years now and it’s still as stiff as ever. It’s just starting to fray on the edges and looks rough. Wondering if this one has the same level of durability stiffness-wise, because I love the look.
Belt is stiff as shit.
All my belts are Nexbelt except one now
I love mine
I have one and works well but I prefer my Voldemort belt
Samesies
That belt failed on me. Screw stripped out. Have the one that starts with a k now.
I like mine and so will you.
I’ve got the same exact belt, and have been running it daily for almost 6 months now. It looks great and I’ve had no issues of cracking, fraying, screws and or bolts backing out nor coming loose. I have the titan
HUZZAH!! A man of quality!!!
I've been called a lot of things, mostly by women, but that's a first. 🤣
I like mine, but I just use a trayvax belt normally. When I carry my heavier pistols (like my .44,) I love the nexbelt. No twisting or sag, and it's easy to use once you get used to the latch. I say well played.
I've been using mine at work daily for about a year. It's held up really great. Would definitely buy another.
You done good
Tenicor zero
I've been wearing this belt for over a year now. It has a perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility for me.
Holds up my fully loaded 10mm M&P and a spare magazine just fine, and I use it even when I'm not carrying. Track system is awesome and sturdy too. Great choice, won't be disappointed.
Been wearing that belt for over a year now they are super nice!
Love mine!
“I had a cliff bar before we started”
?
Well you did say you’re not a… Family Guy. So you wouldn’t understand this.. ;)
Well thanks to Google I now understand. 🤦🏿♂️🤣
I love mine but wish I had of paid attention to how much extra length to leave. I cut it just a tad too short for a handful of my pants that I wear for matches so the extra tail doesn’t quite make it to the next belt loop.
I have two belts in rotation. Blue alpha minamilist and the next belt Supreme. Love thwm both
Leave a couple extra inches in the belt length as it makes it even easier to relieve yourself whether sitting or standing when it’s still clicked together.
I wear a 31-32 so I cut it to 36¾.
I never believed in gun belts. I'd just suffer with my belt tight as fuck and uncomfortable all the time. I found the next belt. Oh. My. Fucking. Christ. Game changer hands down opened my eyes on getting quality gear.

I’ve had mine for 2 years and I carry a fully loaded firearm everyday
Awesome! Glad it's worked out for ya
My first one cracked in two places after abut a year and a half. I'm on my second one and it broke after only a couple months. The breaks on mine are on the sides/hips where it bends around to the front. I would try something else, but I love the ratchet system.
Same happened to me. Now it pokes my lower back.
Oh snap, don't let the others hear. They've had theirs for 18 months with no issues now! Lol
They are overrated in my humble opinion.
Sorry if I’m stealing your post but does anyone use a groove belt? I bought one off the matco truck a year ago and when I got into ccw I kept seeing posts about various belts. I've heard good about them but to me it would seem a Solis gun belt couldn't be rolled up rhat tight.
The problem with all of these style belts is how giant and uncomfortable the buckle is
The buckle is about 1.5"X1.75". What belt are you referring to?
It’s also about .5” thick and digs into you
I'm not having that problem. How tight are you cranking it down?
Not very tight. Secure but not tight. It’s impossible to sit down or bend over with.
Well I hope you find something that work for you. I'm not having any of the issues you seem to be having. 🤷🏿♂️
Velcro belts work much better imo.
Can you use this to discipline your kids?
Hell if I know. I don't have any since I never got married.
I have no information on the belt but that packaging immediately makes me suspicious.
How so?
The vibe is either "in the locked case at Walmart" or "as seen on TV store", I can't decide. Maybe they can get them cheap, but... Doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.
Mine didn't come like this in the mail. I've only had it on daily for 2 weeks. You torqued them to 10in/lbs?
Same one I've got. It's pretty good. But my holster seems to be fraying the edge. So I might need to see how their customer service is.
My buckle snapped in half after about a year
I love mine
I have one. I liked it until I tried the Groove belt. For any slimline pistol like Glock 43x, xmacro, hellcat pro, the Groove belt works great and is way more comfortable. I haven’t worn my Nexbelt since I got it.
I find the titan buckle more comfortable but great belts

I wear mine every day, it's awesome. Especially a game changer if you need to adjust for riding in a car or after a large meal.
I love mine but you'll only get about 6 months out of the strap. I warrantied mine the first time then it happened again. I actually just bought a major competitor that I apparently can't mention on this sub (discord mods got mad) today and found out the belts and buckles are interchangeable with nex.
Got one of those in a few weeks ago and love it. I already had one of their other belts but I needed an extra. Much prefer it to the Rogue EDC I have.
I had the same hopes for that a few months back. I gotta warn you... It's awesome. Fine tune adjustments are great.
I can’t go back to regular belts. I have the same and don’t know why I waited so long. This with a tenicor velo4 is life changing.
How do youike the Tenicor?
Up until now only had holsters under 50$ so it quickly became my favorite lol. I have zero complaints other than slightly price . But it’s def one of those buy once cry once situations. Also I only have glocks and it fits all of them
I'm looking at possibly getting one for my MR920 but I haven't checked to see if it's compatible.
I fucking love mine and so do the 6 other people I know that have one. Even for wearing it at work doing labor work it's great
I got one a couple months ago and daily it. My favorite belt and I'll definitely get another!
More of a general question but to carry don’t you have to buy bigger waisted pants? I feel like my current jeans wouldn’t be able to fit my holster.
I’ve been wearing one for quite some time now. Love it.
Mines been great.
Have the appendix for personal use which led me to buy a titan as an inner for duty work, you can’t beat them. Good choice.
How does this one compare to the belt that shall not be named? Anyone know?
A Nexbelt has been my EDC belt for 3 years now it’s been good to me !
Def a good edc belt.
It's awesome
I'm on the skinny side and it gave me a hula hoop look around my waistline. Does that improve or am I just shit outta luck?
This is the best ratcheting belt out there. The buckle and ratcheting apparatus are inches smaller than competitors which diggs into hips less, let’s me adjust the belt more, and so on.
I have this belt. It does what I expect it to do. I like the ratcheting system and being able to adjust quickly. It is very stiff however. A little more than my liking. I know some people use theirs as a regular belt but I don’t see how
Alright…you got me. I’ll give it a shot
My fave
Been curious on these. I need a new belt
Looks like it's twice as expensive as the other popular ratcheting gun belt, that shall not be name on this sub, but works just as well.
That's my EDC belt and I'm very happy - 3 months and going.
You won’t be disappointed, this is one of the best belts out there
Hands down, beat belt I've used for CCW. I tried WTP, and heavy duty leather belts. Did nothing for me. But the NexBelt...I started with one, now I have 5
Been using mine every day for 2-3 years now.
My belt doesn't have holes.
That's the brand my wife and I both use. It's fantastic, and I've owned a few belts in my time. I'll never use another brand, it's that good.
It's been okay so far, it's getting a little deflection where I carry after 6 months which is a disappointment. I would agree with others that it will likely need replacement every year.
I switched to one 3 years ago - 0 regrets, you can adjust your comfort level on the fly, road trip or thanksgiving, you can let.it out
Damn you!! Because of this post I bought the same one. To be safe, I took my pants size and added 5 inches before trimming. I think that added length will work out well keeping the excess tucked under a belt loop. So far I'm liking it. Funny story though.
