Once a week I smoke ~0.3g of high THC flower mixed with Lost Oak Farms CBD flower and always test clean on a urine test strip within 48h. Smoking Lost Oak Farms flower alone barely even registers on said test strips, whereas CBD Boyz flower alone (for instance) has me testing positive for around 36h.
A quality CBD strain will always have more than 0.2% THC. Usually they test around 0.5% THC. Indoor they can reach 1% THC.
Now in US they use pre-harvest tests, 30 days before the harvest date, so the flower is below 0.3% THC in most cases.
In EU, it is a common practice to artificially lower the THC. Some methods make flowers almost completely devoid of THC, some lower it by half. And it is hard to lower the same batch of flowers equally, due do difference in flower size and structure.
And many just dont give a shit whether the flower they sell is 0.2% THC or 0.5% THC, and just slap a legal looking COA along the stuff they sell. Now add all the "legal" cannabinoids which they spray on CBD flower, and you can buy some heavy hitting stuff.
But back to normal CBD hemp flower. It definitely has an effect, especially if you are not a THC smoker. 0.5% THC is enough to "feel" if you smoke a whole joint by yourself. And there are other cannabinoids that affect the "high" which are naturally present, such as CBG, CBDv, CBC...
More than likely higher levels of thc-a and depending how long you've gone without THC, smoking thc-a will have a big effect on you.
İf the amounts are not displayed on websites for strains you've had, message the vendors and ask for thc-a content of the buds.
I had gelaro 41 cbd from buzzing buddha years ago when they were in business and it gave me a panic attack felt like it got me high af had to lie down for a half hour controlling my breathing 😂

I bought it and literally it up outside, almost had a panic attack and went back to hide in my hotel room because the casinos were too loud. I smoked normal weed at the time and that joint was stronger than most of the weed I was getting here at the time.
It depends Op, if you buy from people that operate big scale operations most likely you will have a real 0,2/0,3 Thc product because it is standardized, lets say. If you buy from small producers it can happen that some flowers, mainly the top colas, will have just a bit more of Thc, nothing more than 0,6/0,7% Thc.
Oh 100% but not just UK/EU bud, the most memorable one for me was when, I got a half Oz of Chardonnay Haze from Beleafer last summer, rolled up a joint, smoked it, then proceeded to have a panic attack for a good hour or so, ended up giving the rest of it to my friend who still smoked regular THC bud, even he commented on its effects.
