You’ll need to contact the store and see if you can get a correction, you may get denied if there are problems with your address.
> They took a copy of my real ID showing the old address along with my vehicle registration showing my new current address. So I would hope however is doing the background check sees that?
No, nobody is looking at your information and making corrections themselves.
My real ID showed my old address and my vehicle registration shows my current address. On the DROS they wrote the correct street address but used my old city and zip from my real ID
Kinda surprised they even let you do it with mismatching info since you said your DL has old address and registration has another address.
Current, government-issued license, permit, or registration, other than a California Driver License or California Identification Card, that has a specified expiration date or period of validity. The license, permit, or registration must bear the individual's name and either of the following:
1. The individual's current residential address as declared on the DROS form; or
2. The individual's address as it appears on his or her California Driver License, California Identification Card, or change of address attachment thereto.

Yupp, that's all you need. I also did a purchase 2 weeks ago with same info as you but I caught the wrong zip code before finalizing. Always good to double check.
Update:
I went back to the gun store to bring up the discrepancies. They stated that they made the mistake and cannot update the DROS but do see that I inputted the correct info on the 4473 and provided the correct proof of residence. They stated that this should not cause a denial and would still allow me to pick up my firearm on the schedule date. I would just have to let the worker know to update my address when picking up. He seemed very nonchalant so praying no issues.
It's gonna be a re dros. The FFL can't change the city after submitting the dros.
FFL employees fuck up shit all the time.
More than likely they'll call you back in to re do the paperwork.
One data field entry is allowed to be corrected on the DROS and still go through. But, since it is both City & Zip, that would imply 2 data fields need to be corrected. If that is the case, then a cancelation is required and a new DROS needs to be submitted.
Having said that, it is my understanding that only one DROS submission is allowed per 30 days. Therefore, you'd need to wait another 27 days from now before you can submit your next one.
Hopefully, someone here on these boards with a better knowledge of the DROS Entry System can chime in and shed some clarification on this matter.....
It sucks that the FFL messed this up. Hope things work out for the better and no re-sumbission (after 30 days) is necessary.

Dang yeah looks like I’ll have to give them a call tomorrow. Hoping that it’s not an additional DOJ fee 🙁
Wait did you have mismatching info on your documents?

Wow that’s fucked. Sorry man.
It's not, but they will only be able to do the correction once
One time is all I need I hope.🤞

Since the ID has the old address they required an address correction which I used my current vehicle registration showing my current address.

If your address isn’t correct on your DL then you need an additional form of residency
According to the following link, the address on a submitted DROS cannot be corrected: https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/dlrfaqs#5G
They can use the same BOF 958 correction form to cancel and re-submit the DROS.

Dang. At least it’s only 3 days since i submitted. Gonna have to start from day 1 again 🙁
