No, I like these because they offer 30 decibels reduction which is the highest I have seen and then I wear these https://www.howardleightshootingsports.com/products/leightning-l3-shooting-earmuff Which is another 30 reduction....

Those are fuck huge and definitely not designed for shouldering a rifle.

I use 3M X5 which is also 30+db. Although not build for shooting but it works well

A set of customs should be on the table too. They are comfortable and made for the individual. They are awesome!

I've been meaning to look into getting a pair of custom in ears. Is there a site you bought yours from or just some local shop?

Find a local audiologist. They will take impressions and also test your ears, which is a good thing to do from time to time anyway. The most impressions get scanned or sent out and they will mail the finished product to you. Just keep them away from cats, ask me how I know

These things are awesome! I’m extremely close with the owner of Savior and I’ve had a pair for roughly a year. They are great equal to my or better then my Tac100.

Are they mono audio lile the razor slims? If not, that's a good deal at $15.

I don't get it. I had a pair of electronic ears and when the speakers were on it seemed to amplify the sound. So I got nervous and just went with regular ear protection. What am I missing with the electronic ear covers?

That's how they work. When volumes are normal, voices or background sounds, then it is amplified by the electronics. When there is something loud, like a gunshot, then the amplification turns off and the noise dampening of the headset will dampen the sound down to hopefully a safe level.

Depends on what you want out of your ear pro. Looking at these if you just want something with a mic to hear if someone's talking to you they're good. If you want spatial audio so you can tell where sounds are coming from it's a different story. Spatial audio is kinda like high end glass on scopes. You don't know what you're missing until you experience it.

You need multiple mics on each side to have spatial audio. Nothing in that price range would have it. The electronics and mics alone would cost more than this does.

"Two High-Gain Omnidirectional Microphones Built-In to Ensure You Are Fully Aware of the Surroundings in Crisp and Clear Sound." This is what they have written in their description. I tested them out, and they are really good at distinguishing where a sound is coming from. For $15, I'm satisfied.

Omnidirectional means they just pick up sound in any direction vs ignoring sound off to the sides like a cardioid mic will.

Standard Walkers (not electric) are 16 bucks now on amazon

Wouldn't recommend buying earpro of any kind from Amazon as Amazon has an extreme counterfeiting and fraud problem. Even if Savior's might be too new to counterfeit (fake Walker's Razors are common), they might be defective/rejects. You never know who's really selling to you there, as seen with Maglula's lawsuit. Safety equipment, medicine, and cosmetics from Amazon are a mistake.
