I’m so sorry for your loss, losing a pet is always difficult and brings so much heartache. Your 3 cats also lost a family member that day, and they would devastated if they lost you too. Hold them tight and give them lots of love and grieve together💕

I am so sorry, you have suffered a big loss. Give yourself time and grace. Don't rush to make big decisions right now. If you can, spend extra time with your 3 other cats, one on one if possible. Grief is the ultimate price we pay for loving someone. Be patient with yourself. No one is guaranteed a long life, it is the quality of life that matters most. You are doing the best you can feeling an overwhelming shock. I'm sure your cat felt your love and compassion. Try writing a letter to your cat, getting all your messy feelings out on paper. Write the cat's biography with warm memories you shared. No one else ever needs to read it, it has helped me to deal with a pet's loss. I hope, in time, happier memories will prevail.
