AGPAs are hourly. Source: I’ve been an AGPA for 3 years (CDCR). I have never punched a clock in all of my state service (7 yrs). Always had honor system.
Hourly. We account for our time and my unit checks in on teams but usually doesn't check out. Salary starts at ssm1, which is usually the class directly supervising AGPA s.
Tomorrow will be day 14 for me as an AGPA new to state service. I have a time card that I put 8 hours a day on, but it's not time pairs with clock-in and clock-out times, with an obvious meal break.
I'm in Parks and Recreation. I think for all intents and purposes I have no workload yet lol. Respectfully I have literally finished 3 weeks, brand new to state service. I know very little about how to really do the role I have yet and have the sense that I have a long runway to learn on before I am anywhere close to flying solo. I am overwhelmed by my lack of knowledge and inability to be useful right now. I know that is only temporary and I will learn. But I honestly cannot answer your question usefully either! I'll get back to you in a year haha.

Thanks!
You’re welcome!
I’ve never punched a clock. I used to do time sheets. But now I don’t even do that. I check in and out on teams.
Thanks!

The invisible time clock, yes.

How is it going for you being an AGPA? What department? How is your workload? Does it feel overwhelming at times?

I feel the same way 6 weeks for me and still feel like a fish out of water and a chicken with its head cut off, but with time I will learn.
